      Haven't watched the vid yet.
      But my opinion going in is that: if he stays healthy, there is no reason he shouldn't become the best to ever do it. Noone at his size has ever played like him. All the physical tools (apart from strength which can be built through hard work) and the groundworks for all the skills you need to succeed.
      If he stays healthy inshallah, there is noone but him standing in his way of being the goat.

      To clarify on what I said above. I am not saying that he will be a top player in the league off rip. What I am saying is that he has all of the tools required to develop into the greatest.

      @@Andrew17B Yup Victor really have no weaknesses. Lebron wasnt doing what Victor is doing at 18 years old. As an 18 year old vs g-league ignite he looked dominate and they wasnt even playing threw him thats the scary part and he dropped 36 and 37 points. The only way he dont become the goat is if he get injuried if you pair him with another superstar i can see him own the league be the Bill Ruscell of the modern era he is that good.

    • @yayvey
      @yayvey 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah that's what I've seen as well. Disagreed with the media about getting bigger but hit back with a better answer of being balanced/flexible through a focus on mobility training.
      We've seen 3 electric young players on a Thunders roster before and know how that ends up, and we've also seen Spurs go all in on a young prospect and watch them flourish into the best, championship-calibre players in the game. I think Chet will win ROTY due to his 1 year spent acclimatizing to the NBA, but Wemby will win in the long run with if all goes good in the Spurs.
      Super excited after watching their preseason game, I see the NBA frothing at the mouth trying to market some rivalry between them.

    Wemby genuinely can be good if he doesn’t get overconfident, doesn’t get injured, block out the haters, not pull out the donuts like Zion or Glock like Ja, stay focused on basketball, and just be a good asset. You missed a point : he trained since a tender age with one goal in mind : to be not only in the NBA, but the greatest player in the NBA . He's so driven, he self-taught English in middle school by watching American shows, because the English he learnt in class was too basic...so as to give himself more chances to be drafted ; even at 16 he displayed impressive lucidity and maturity . He knows what he wants, and exactly what it is going to take to get there .

    Even when people live up to expectations they get criticized for the dumbest reasons. Obviously Lebron is an example, but most recently Luka. Bros 24 and already has the 2nd best ppg average ever in the playoffs and has made 4 all-nba 1st teams in 5 seasons arguably ALREADY a hall of famer if he retired today. But he gets criticized for not having won an MVP despite playing only playing 16 games with the only great player he’s ever played with so far. Hopefully next season he reminds us who he is.

    • @eljocko687

    • @d3va383
      @d3va383 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eljocko687 You're actually dumb if you don't think Luka will win MVP when he's like 25 and already has had insane individual success. If he can average like 34-10-9 and lead his team to a top 4 seed. I can see him winning above Embiid's 33-10-4, Jokic's 26-12-10 or Giannis' 28-13-6 (Dame will take a couple shots away).
      Also, no fucking shit they won't make the finals this year. They definitely could make it to the WCF if they matchup against the suns or sum shit in the 2nd round. They're not beating Denver or the Lakers in any universe though.
      And no one makes everything about Luka, just when he's relevant to what someone's talking about, this is a video about a young player getting unrealistic expectations and the fact he'll be criticized for not meeting those expectations. A player like Lebron has exceeded them, and is the most hated player ever. The best recent example is Luka, who by all means has already exceeded expectations, but gets criticism for not winning MVP even though he's a few YEARS removed from reaching where most players' primes are

    A great example on how these expectations can be detrimental to a player when they don't meet them is Greg Oden. He had such high expectations put on him, he was drafted before Kevin Durant. He was an incredible basketball player in his own right leading up to his injury troubles and the fans and the media made him out to be this bust beyond belief when he started having those injuries. This ended up being detrimental to Greg Oden and his mental health and his life outside of basketball. That man loved basketball and was great at it but people couldn't separate the difference between being at the hands of injury and being a garbage basketball player.

    I am 2:10 in the video but bro you don’t you a doctorate degree to have common sense with sports and the human body. The taller you are(6’4 plus) on average you are a much more prone to knee/lower body injuries just for breathing. Running and jumping for a living is obviously gonna make that worst. Basketball is also a very contact heavy sport, that is why people say big men with small frames don’t last long is because they already the injuries probability with just being so tall but also add in the contact demand of being a center with a low center of gravity = high bust potential. But the flip side Zion has to much mass for a basketball play especially with his type of fast and explosive style. The body doesn’t know the difference between fat and muscle(it’s more healthy to have muscle) at a certain point it’s just to much weight on a frame, putting a lot of wearing and tear on the ligaments and tendons. The reason ball fans talk a lot about injuries is that nba players imo have the high rate of turnover due to non contact injuries compared to most sports

      Wemby wont be matched up with Embid and even if he did Embid shoot jump shots. The NBA is a jump shooting league players are not allowed to back down their opponents like they did in france to wemby in the NBA refs will call you for an offensive foul if you do it. Wemby got bullied in france by stroner players because france allowed that kind of play NBA do not. This is the reason why the NBA should be easier for wemby than france france allow alot more physicality than the NBA allow.

      @@sageofcausality173 How do you think Draymond Green able to guard centers despite being undersize at 6 foot 6 inches i watch how refs offical he hold his ground and centers get called for an offense foul being too physical with Green. All wemby have to do is hold his ground players are not allowed to back their defender all the way to the paint like shaq if they did Green wouldnt be able to stop 7 foot players either.

    Bro is literally averaging 20pts, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists per game as a 20 year old rookie. Y'all just wanna be haters. Straight up BS clickbait video imo.
