You can’t go wrong reading any of this author’s works. This is a clean romance that will tug at your heart. Jones has custody of his niece Florence who was orphaned. They moved to North Dakota to live on the ranch his sister bought before she died and are renting a duplex while they get the ranch house ready. This is part of a series but can be read with out reading the others. But once you read one of her books you’ll want to read the rest. I just love the narration. Jay’s narration holds your interest and keeps your attention on the book.
We’ve been following Toni and her antics for a few books now, it was great to see her dream of a dad come to fruition. I love the part she played in it and her reasonings. Another good book for learning lessons about life and marriage and faith(aren’t these all?!). I’m excited to see where this series will go and what Billy will do next.
What a special treat to hear you narrate this audiobook but also sing those beautiful songs and in duet even. Thank you and Jessie for brightening my life. This is one of my favorite books of this series and I loved that Toni finally got the Dad she had wanted and even got a sister. Jones and his niece, Florence, had moved to Sweet Water to take a break from singing after his sister who was the main singer in their band had died. The characters are all special and Billy, the matchmaking steer, has another success with this story. I especially like the way scriptures are incorporated throughout the story to bring a point across.
Oh my word! Another hit from the J&J team but the goat chapter had me cracking up so much with the unexpected twists in the story and then the song on the drive home... I'd forgotten that one and hearing it in 4 voices was the cherry on the top!

Take two strangers with teenaged girls plus a matchmaking cow add a little bit of humor and a lot of faith and before you know it, you have a sweet and believable happily-ever-after.

I mixed reading and listening to this and what a treat. Jay not only voices characters he sings, and harmonized with himself. Jessie has a fabulous story and then Jay is icing on top. My hubs was laughing when he heard the first part and then wanted to know what he missed. Ha!
I love this story! I love how Mallie just says “YES” after Jones spits out The Question! 😂😂 It also made me VERY HAPPY to know what Travis is up to. ❤❤

If you have listened to other books in this series, different characters are introduced and updates per say are given about them. Somewhere down the line their story is written. Love this aspect of Jessie's stories ❤❤❤
