I love this story! Thank you to both Jessie and Jay. I absolutely LOVE the universes you continue to create. It is always a happy day when I can put my earbuds in and walk in communities of faith, encouragement, and love. We are the luckiest readers/listeners to be a part of the J & J endeavours.

My review: I loved this romance involving a marriage of convenience between Wilson McBride and Charity Ames. The characters are wonderful especially Charity's five children. Wilson found out how badly Charity was struggling after her husband divorced her to move to Australia with his girlfriend to avoid paying child support. Wilson had been helping the Secret Saint provide anonymous help to those in need. He decided to stop doing that to marry Charity so he could provide full-time help to her and her five children. I highly recommend this book to those who enjoy a clean Christian romance. Be sure to listen to the audiobook also to make this story come alive. This is my voluntary and honest review.

Wilson has been helping the Secret Saint deliver Christmas gifts to needy folks and feels God calling him to help Charity and her 5 children. When he approaches her with an offer of marriage, she is skeptical at first but agrees to marry him. As they work together they each come to the conclusion that they want more than a marriage of convenience, but want to wait for the other one to make the first move. Great story about love, faith, and working together.

Jessie Gussman has given the reader another wonderful book; including inspirational value as she weaves her tale. The performance of Jay Dyess in the narrating of this story is superb as he brings the characters to life. This book features Wilson McBride, who is the other half of the Secret Saints of Mistletoe Meadows. He decides to give up his place beside his brother in law in order to marry Charity Ames. She is the mother of five young children. Her husband divorced her and ran off to Australia with his girlfriend to get out of paying child support. Be sure to listen to this book to find out if Wilson and Charity can make a marriage of convenience work.

I loved the romance between Wilson and Charity. The attraction was almost immediate, but both had reasons to not say anything. These characters are very well written. I really appreciate the Christian, biblical elements of the story. The story held my attention right from the start and I didn’t want to stop until the end.

This was a lovely addition to the series. I loved the family part - especially the kids. I always like when Gussman points out where things are viewed a certain way societally, but how those things aren’t necessarily written that way in the Bible. So many things make you think. And sometimes it brings back previously held convictions and I’m forced to take a step back and begin the process of reevaluation (like with birth control). This was a great Christian contemporary romance. It has Christmas, a marriage of convenience, family, friends, kids, baking, and a farm. It was a lovely read that I truly enjoyed. I’m excited for more!

Sweet story with strong Christian principles. This is a sweet, sweet book. Wilson marries Charity because God told him to. Charity is the single mom of five kids and needs help. This is a wonderful story with strong Christian principles, lots of laughter, romance, and family. Quotes: “More than romance, more than everlasting love, she wanted a man who followed the Lord.” “God doesn’t call you without giving you everything you need in order to answer that call.”
