Gonna miss Luke in Season 7!😢
The saddest thing about Judas is that, if he'd waited for 3 days, he could've been forgiven and had been such an amazing witness in the New Testament! Really sad. 😔
It’s hard to say. I think Judas’ tragedy is that as the man who betrayed Jesus he may have seen himself as beyond saving and redemption.
A well adjusted person doesent hang themselves you know what I mean? Jesus resurrecting wouldn’t erase Judas’ sin and Judas probably would have felt the same way.
It’s hard to say though. It’s only speculation. Who knows what would have happened if Judas had held out long enough to have seen and talked to the risen Christ?
Maybe he would have been remembered differently in history.
Who else would betray Jesus and fulfill the Scriptures?
The other apostles believed before they witnessed the resurrected Jesus. It would not have changed Judas' decision.
He will be forgiven; he died before being washed in the blood, as many of the great prophets and believers before him, and none went to Heaven; after Jesus' resurrection, Jesus went to save all those who died before He was crucified for all to obtain salvation.
@@theresak4343 that’s not how it works. All people before the crucifixion were still saved by believing and and having faith in Yahweh to have the solution.
They were saved by a promise they didn’t fully have the details of, but that they believed in nonetheless.
The Old Testament spoke still of people resurrecting into eternal shame… so who would those people be exactly?
Did Little James say that they are in fact going to do a series on the book of Acts? That will be great!
They are! Announced just a few days ago with several other amazing projects!
YAY! That will be phenomenal.
Really!?! I will look forward to that!!! ❤
The Way 😁
Luke seems like such a nice sweet guy . It’s true what they say about the villains being played by the nicest guys .
He's like the Christoph Walkz of biblical shows haha
What do they say?
Nah, too woke.
I agree because I think that the sweetest people have to compensate somehow to keep their sanity 😂. I have never needed or wanted to hear about Judas because of his deeds against Jesus. But , Luke is plays this part in a way that I am getting a different perspective. He is “new” to the group. He is the last one that has to come to some kind of understanding about what their part is in all this. That they are the soldiers that will be recruiters for Gods army to spread his message through out the world. The only real war is against sin which in turns destroys satan. Ahh man I finally get it… thank you
Of all the characters in the Chosen, I think its depiction of Judas is by far the most brilliant. The bible tells us little about him (as it does most characters other than Jesus), but this is an incredibly believable story arc. Well done!
The chemistry this cast has is just adorable.
This is so prophetic! God is separating wheat and tares in this season!
Awww I loved how Judas came up and hugged little James there and Judas saying he was hungry and little James telling him to go eat his goldfish lol got to love their sense of humour o love all of these guys God bless them Judas and Jesus will be missed❤
I love the humanity in Judas’ character and I think it makes people confront their own sinful nature (and that’s why some people don’t like it unfortunately). It makes betrayal seem relatable. His statement both from show and Scripture, where he calls Jesus’ anointing a waste of money, is so relatable for so many people and I think it terrifies them. The truth is we’re all sinners and it’s completely normal for some of us to see ourselves or past selves in Judas’s character. That’s why Jesus died for us - because we needed to be saved from our sin ❤
I always thought that S5 would end at the Crucifixion, S6, would be the resurrection and Pentecost, and S7 would be the early church, persecution, and end with Saul to Paul to make way for the Book of Acts and a new series. Lets see....
Cannot wait for more. Rewatching the whole series
I love Luke he is just one.of the sweetest and kindest man I love him as little James is is just plain cute God bless him and all of our apostals on the chosen
I love the way Luke portrays Judas! I hope he's in flashbacks because he's great to watch
Loved his answer about Judas being a tragedy. Its definitely true
without Judas, there is no completion of the mission of Christ...someone once posed the question of whether in fulfilling this role, did Judas earn forgiveness instead of damnation...interesting to consider.
@@eichelbergergary No since he committed suicide and committed the worst of all sins: Lack of faith in God's forgiveness.
@@mikeblast7507 But people can (and do) forgive others (in their heart of hearts) when someone they love has committed suicide; guess that means the heart of forgiveness of Man is greater than that of God's (according to your theology). If ever been around faithful people of God that have suffered a suicide of a loved one, then will realize just how woefully simpleton such a theology is. God is not the only once that has sacrificed on behalf of others out of profound love. Human beings have done that throughout the ages. And hence why Jesus accounted giving up one's life for another the greatest form of love. This was something going on in the realm of humanity before Jesus went to the cross. People really need to drill down much, much deeper as to the nature of God. Because am personally confident that Mankind does not exceed God in any respect.
@@eichelbergergary No one earns forgiveness from God. God only forgives those who repent and forsake their sin by surrendering to Christ as Lord. Salvation is a gift, not a reward.
Judas was called by the Lord, “the son of perdition.” But he doesn’t have to quit his role in the “Chosen.” 😢
See ya til I don't! Luke, no worries. We'll be seeing you in future shows all no doubt. You've been BRILLIANT in your role as Judas.
Luke: I’m hungry
Jordan: go eat your goldfish
😂😂
I was looking for this comment specifically xD so he really said that, xD I loved it xD
Thanks!❤
As an aspiring film director i'm currently working on my Biblical cinematic movie scripts that I would love to expand The Chosen Cinematic Universe aka the Bible cinematic Universe/BCU.I just have to make enough money to start making short films and then work my way up to big project films.
Pray for me that I will be able to do this soon! I do have a job that i'm working at but I just started like last December so I still have lots of money I need to save up for.
I have a plan for my first short film series that will be my own sci-fi story. I'm just waiting to make the money and the right time
Thats great to hear man! May I suggest that you should crowdfund your short films to make some extra money. I'm praying for you and may God bless you and your ministry of making films of the Bible 🙏
@@christ_mark It's my dream to direct a Revelation movie trilogy and some old testament shows! The Chosen showed me that it can be done well. But thank you I appreciate.
One of the main problems for me is that I live in Nebraska and I don't have a lot of friends anymore so there's not a lot of film opportunities for me but I still have an Idea to film where I live currently. Once I have enough money I will move out to California or Texas or where ever i'm able to.
Do you have any suggestions on how I can crowdfund? For most crowdfunds you have to have a film demo before even getting support and The Chosen is an independent crowd funding project so Idk if they could crowd fund my projects
Hey! Ok I write scripts and direct actors :) listen you don´t have to do it with your own money, in fact its better if you don´t, so I pray for you that you have an amazing script writen with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, a beautiful idea, a great crew to work with you and that God gives you wisdom as a producer that you may have the tools to get the people or institutions that can finance your project, it´s crazy yes, but this is how it is done even in small projects or short films. If you start doing it that way this early, you´ll learn a lot for future bigger projects, and wow really sci fi, I hope we meet along the way of making films guided by Jesus one day. Keep on shining His light :)
@@multicreativeartist6579 about this, ok, look out for how to create a Production... omg I forget the name in English, haha, you have to create a like a production portfolio of the movie you want to create, you need to have everything very clear, the ambiance, the storyline, the characters, the photography and make it in a beautiful design, be profesional cause if this doesn´t look put together then how will they believe your movie will really work visually? and make a budjet of every single little to big thing you need to create it, you don´t need to have friends to do this with right now, you can hire some people, add also how much you are going to pay for whatever they will do, once you have all of this put it out there, I guess it´s like a gofundme, but also send it to the local cafe, to the institutes, to whoever might want to be part, and find a film photographer in a university or at church (not the regular production guy, but someone profesional and older more experienced in filmmaking), someone who can work along side with you so that it looks profesional cause you need it really really do need it. When we start, the first years it´s really tough cause there are many rules you don´t know even exist and even when you know them and appreciate them, making them, crafting them, it´s not the same thing, trust me; now you have to give a good video to those who fund you :) so look for that person and see that is someone you can trust with working together, and do it :) you might even become a great producer/director one day and hire me too for a project :3 haha. We are all together in this, may God guide you :3
@@luciamokte1090 that's awesome! Are you an Agent? Also I would love to work with you if we can I need as many connections as possible. Screenplay writers, actors, photographers, cinematographers, vfx artists, costume designers, etc
Ive been working on these scripts for a few years since high school and im not a good writer so right now I get writers block so much especially when it comes to the Bible so I know the enemy is attacking my mind...
I have a vision I would just need a good writer to translate my vision into a story just like Dallas Jenkins and his writers
funny how shmuel is in the background chilling and after luke leaves Little James...he acts like a kid going towards his goldfish XD
You guys are all a love. A big big hug to all of you ❤❤❤❤
Thank you Luke ,I watching you as Judas seem confused ,But also fun ,when Philip and Andrew and you together talking about the banquet.
"Go eat your goldfish" 🤣🤣🤣
Saw you at Chosen Con!! Great interview!!
All of the boys (apostles) couldn’t be nicer. I saw you at Chosen Con, Brandon. I was in a scooter because my knee is messed up at the moment. Looking forward to seeing the interviews you did. I didn’t realize that you did them 😊
Glad you got to meet and interview Jordan
Great interviews Brandon!
Actors are so funny off camera lol
I saw Luke in a behind-the-scenes video when he had first been introduced on The Chosen and he was singing and dancing all over the set with some of the cast joining him but now I can’t find it. I would love to see it again. Have you seen it?
Luke has a good singing voice lol
Jesus always pleased the Father. He obviously prayed to be spared from the cross. He didn’t remove the pain and difficulties of His own life as well as his dearest friends.
God bless you always Luke!🙏🌹🤗❤️
I'm genuinely upset that he's leaving. He seems like such a kind and affectionate individual. It's gonna be hard to watch him die:( Also, do you know if Luke will be at another Chosencon? I'm upset that I wasn't able to meet him but I'm still holding out hope🥺
My guess is that he will be at all of them in the future unless he can’t make it. Even photina (woman at the well) comes every year, though she’s not been in the series for years.
@@TheChosenSleuth That's good. He's my very favorite:)
Ok “time to move on dude” = “Dude I’m hungry” lol
❤surely gonna miss luke
Deep background, that's me in season 5, lol.
Great interviews!
Brandon you do such a great job in these interviews. I love how much the cast loves each other. I don’t know if the show would have worked if they all didn’t have that bond. It makes the show even better. I’m sad I didn’t get to meet Luke this year but hopefully next Chosen Con I can!
Lots more interviews to come for sure, we had some fun with a bunch of the cast 😁
can't wait. You do a great job!@TheChosenSleuth
Excellent interview
Amazing show
Great interview
I’m not a fan of click bait titles, but this one works for me. 😊❤
deeep background 🎶🎶
Hey Brandon wow this is cool.
The JCU! 🤣Great nickname.
@Lisbeth_S I love a good cinematic universe! I just thought it was a funny nickname.
Love. JCU.
Joh 6:70 NIV84 Then Jesus replied, "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!"
Mat 26:24 NIV84 The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."
Joh 13:27 NIV84 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. "What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him,
It's hard to defend Judas in view of these remarks Jesus made about him.
@@alanrouse1and Paul killing innocent men women and children is?
Jesus saying this I don’t think was to mean Judas was irredeemable or was only a bad person - but naturally the person who will be responsible for putting your teacher and friend through the most gruesome death imaginable at the time puts you a cut above the rest.
Judas could have and would have been forgiven had he asked for it.
But we all know how the story ends.
I think many are missing some things here about why Judas would have been irredeemable and those that think Paul was as bad aren’t realizing the contrast between the two but even the Chosen so far is showing for Judas. Judas himself was the reason why he wouldn’t be redeemable. Nothing not even himself could get him to have faith enough to be forgiven. It’s a cautionary to all those of levels of faith. He couldn’t get pass a number of things he himself had to be able to do. Paul could as God could see despite. The changing of one’s heart is measurable in forgiveness. Not the word they speak. A liar can fake it. But the heart doesn’t.
God Bless ypu.Remeber it had to be
Luke too. Awesome
Sorry Luke! Love you!
I mean he probably filmed his last scene
Did Luke (Judas) just mention "Grisha" as in Grisha Yaeger from Attack on Titan??? I'm sure I miss heard him...
Hello Brandon
Jorden is awsome
Manifique ❤❤❤
Hey, spoiler alert. Luke's is going away. Who knew?
I know- I read rhe book
I wonder how Dallas will help Luke Dimion work unto his other projects. Overcoming being "Judas" in this series is going to potentially typecast him as a villian.
This is concerning. I'm sure Dallas Jenkins will figure it out. It sounds like there is still a little more work needed from the Judas actor (Luke Dimyan). He's been terrific through seasons 3 and 4.
The actor isn’t leaving, the character is coming to an end.
@@TheChosenSleuth Oh, okay. Like Dymian has done as incredible a job as one could hope for.
Gotcha. Thanks for the clarity. Judas is coming to an end in The Chosen. Okay........ Thanks
❤@@TheChosenSleuth
Todos son excelentes , los mejores actores , y bueno judas una vez que traicione a Jesús va a matarse , es asi en la palabra de Dios.
They are going according to The Bible, and as we saw, they are going to have the last supper and after that we know what happens
Judas leaves the show because after he betrays Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, he hangs himself from guilt and dies.
Luke is gonna be until season six, the last scene they filmed was the betrayal at Getsemani Garden, so maybe he will die in firsts episodes of season six.
I imagine he’ll have several moments in season 6, but basically nothing with the other main actors most likely. So they’re kind of saying goodbye to him this season.
Luke would make a wonderful Joseph
the [ humanity ] of the original Judas in the bible is precisely the reason for his departure into the lake of fire. He decided on his own will to not be chosen by the giver of life. which should be sober reminder for all humanity that what we need to escape sin and death is to hunger and thirst after Christ and his righteousness and kingdom. there is no other way for eternal life. if one wants earthly and temporary joys then they would chose the judas way just like the juda of israel and the first adam. But ... God showed us a better way: today if you hear his voice, do not harden your heart, CHOOSE CHRIST, AND LIVE!
Is he really betraying the chosen 🤣
I will miss Luke and Jesus ❤🙏. God bless and keep you all safe and well ❤🙏. I appreciate and love The Chosen ❤.
I heard Judas might hang around
👀😅
I understand Jesus not healing Little James and he tells others that it's between him and Jesus.
As Jesus tells us to pray for one another I'd love to see someone like Mary Magdalene be an intercessor for LJ. Maybe with the caveat she understands it's an issue between Jesus and LJ, but she could request periods of respite. A time of rest and comfort to LJs body and soul.
I have chronic pain and a lesson I have learned is that pain is insidious. It slowly sneaks into ones life and steals joy, steals energy, and steals hope. I get respite in many ways, including prayer and moderation science. I'd love for LJ to be given grace as well.
Whaaaaat?
Yes, he apparently betrays at the end of 5, but they aren't going to show Judas hangs himself per the bible?
Maybe they’ll show something like it but not with Luke playing Judas in that scene
its way too graphic for the Chosen to showcase Judas' death Passion of the Christ depicts his death very well
@@samuelsun3560 And it's nothing compared to the Acts version, where Judas buys the field and then dies in a really gruesome way.
If his death is too graphic, how in the world are they going to show Jesus?
Considering Luke is so passionate about Judas's character arc and how he's stated many times that Judas felt guilty enough to commit suicide, I have a feeling they'll show it to some capacity.
This really makes me curious: does Judas die at the end of Season 5 or will he die in next season? Season 5 is holy week - but where will they end it, exactly?
He will die in Season 6
Has anyone out there purchased the videos from the recent chosen con? I would like to buy them but last year the virtual package was very disappointing. I want to see interviews with the cast. What is included in the 2024 video?
Awww another one leaving but got to move on 🙏🏻💞🙏🏻🫂
we should have a bit of him in season 6 for sure :D just not with the group anymore
Luke Dimyan needs to be Joseph.
Luke is so cute
We know🙄
@@Frankencelery05 ok
Why is Luke leaving is the role of Judas because we know what happened or is the actor decided to leave anyhow he did a wonderful job in his role
The role of Judas comes to an end this season. They're not replacing Luke
Because if you saw the show and read The Holy Bible or know the basic we saw that the last episode in S4 was a week before his sacrifice (Him riding a donkey) where Judas sold Him out and after that Judas dies
@@Bluesboybiggie no kidding he dies
You mean Luke is leaving playing Judas after season 5?
Why is Luke leaving the chosen
Not Luke, Judas. His time is coming to a close.
He played Judas and his life ended in tragedy. So that would be why imo.
@@TheChosenSleuth oh yea when Judas hang’s himself is Luke going to be in season 6 and 7
@@evermute9514 yup
My opinion is that Judas betray Jesus, so he went out and hung himself, and that’s when he left. I also think that maybe Judah start if he kissed Jesus and betrayed him, it would force Jesus to come forth as the king he was supposed to be.
I think Judas was True to a point. He just wanted to Jewish people to be free and if he could have waited Jesus will come as a warrior and I hope that the Rapture will come soon.
Man! How can they just write Luke out! Maybe they can have him do some cameos in the Way or season 7...(JK!)
Luke wasn't written out. Judas killed himself after betraying Jesus. Therefore, in that sense, the actor Luke's role has ended. (We can't rewrite Scripture, with Judas changing his mind, stopping the crucifixion, and continuing with Jesus.). However, Luke is a talented actor; perhaps we will see him playing a different role elsewhere in the Chosen Cinematic Universe.
What the heck is the click bait of "Judas is leaving the Chosen"
What is Luke’s ethnicity ?
He's egyptian-american
How are they gonna do the scene of Judas hanging himself?
Great Question for sure, I imagine they'll use shadow or the feet hanging. Lots they could do with it overall.
@@TheChosenSleuth Surely they would get away with a CGI model of Judas hanging from his tree?
I predict Judas' sister will discover the body. She'll be alone on Every level. 😢
@@2012escapee1unless she reaches out to Jesus....😊
@@nilarene2088 She'll still be mourning her brother. And it's gonna be at least 3 days before she can reach out to Jesus.
Seeing him without facial hair makes him look so creepy to me
There's no book of Moses
The first 5 books of the Old Testament are referred to as the Book of Moses..
Another one leaving the show ,what is going on ! ?
Watch the video. Judas is leaving soon, not Luke. Judas will obviously be gone from the chosen coming up.
He is not “leaving the show” any more than John the Baptist left the show. Both of the characters in the Bible leave as part of the story.
Doesn't anyone here read their Bible?? Do you not know what happens to Judas?? 🙄
@@diamondlou1 I want to think that they are joking, even the ones who are not believers knows Judas and who he was and how he died
@@humanoide7076 I hope you're right!
It seems like the interviewer doesn’t know much at all about the story.
Well of course he's leaving. He committed suicide
Judas is leaving the apostolate? really? Whodathunkit? (You titled this for clickbait, while the interviews were fine, the story is well known. It's titled like he's abandoning his role and he's not. Its dishonest )
I would’ve put “Luke Dimyan is leaving the chosen” if that were what I was trying to say. That’s what I’ve done in the past with other actors. Yes the title is clickable, that’s what I have to do as part of my job. But it’s not dishonest.

Why is he leaving in 2024? He hasn’t betrayed Jesus yet & then hung himself.
We’re not even seen Season 5 yet? Which won’t come out until 2025 🤷🏻♀️
Because they already shot S5 and S5 is the one where they sacrifice Jesus and we know why that happens and what happened to Judas after that
What is wrong with this guy 🤔
I doubt any The Chosen fan would know what the actual Yeshua said about Judas. As always, The Chosen has nothing to do with Gods word.
