The fact that you had already paid them for the items and they took it back is underhanded. I would have asked for my money back, or at least a chunk of money back. You and Tony are extremely patient.
It's bad business and the idea that you paid them for the items and they weren't even going to mention they took stuff back. I would have said too bad you sold them to me and I want how ever much for the items you stole from me. Otherwise I'm taking them. That was ridiculous.
I would have asked for my money back. Then just walk away. Let them clean out those barns by themselves! Bad experience, Renee. Don't let it get you down!
The reason they took them back is because they think they can sell them for lots of $$$$$. Otherwise(having forgotten about them),they wouldn't care--that's why the books were in the barn!
I wonder if they thought there was not a lot of real value until they started seeing the special items you and Tony were finding. Letting you do the dirty work, so to speak. It's unfortunate and I get that they are dealing with the loss of a loved one's items but don't store them in a barn that is accessible to critters. It's a bit odd to suddenly want a photo album that was literally laying on the floor of a barn with the dirt and years of who knows what.
It is a very unattractive part of (human) nature that we often do not see value in something until someone else wants it. Picture two children fighting for possession of a toy, the first child often immediately losing interest when the other lets go.
That’s just so rude of them, they just wanted you all to do the work and they can pick what they want after you do the work. Sorry they just wasted your time. The problem with these type of people is they don’t want to go through the stuff, but want someone else to do the grunt work, the pick what they want to keep. Hope you got some money back. Sad thing is the stuff they took out of your pile will probably end up in a dumpster.
Seems that this property has seen much better days. Storing books and artwork in the wild: no way ! 🤨 I had lots of negotiations with similar folks like those, and the final result was always the same: I quit and said: nope, thank you, I am done, you can keep everything , you won´t get a single buck from me. I was getting ready to help an elderly hoarder clean out and she says pick whatever you want,so I did.she had an excuse for almost every item I chose 🙃
Well that stinks! I had something happened to me at a church rummage sale. I found a painting that I wanted to purchase and when I was purchasing it, I asked my friend to read the name on the paining. She read the name on the paining out loud to me and one of the people working the church rummage sale said oh that’s not for sale. I said what do you mean I’m paying for it it’s been here for two days. She said that was a mistake. It should’ve been in the sale. I took it up with the pastor and the pastor said oh it’s not for sale. I found out later that the artist is a well-known artist. Never thought I would experience anything shady at a church rummage sale. 😮
A well known local artist painting really may not be all that valuable . I'm an artist and know a lot of the well known artists in my area. Their paintings are priced high at galleries but can be for sale for years and never sell. Now if It was an original Andrew Wyeth painting.....you lost out.
@@paulah317 I’ve been flipping art for several years, mostly equestrian related because I live in the heart of hunt country of Virginia. This particular painting was of a bird. After I left the church, I looked it up and found similar works by the artist selling for 6,000 at auction. Anyways, it would of been a nice flip for $80.
As I have learned over the years, the best course of action when discovering diamonds amongst the rough is to keep quiet, act nonchalant and make as little fuss as possible, play it cool. If the seller wants to get the best price possible for an item, then it is up to them to earn that value by putting the work in and doing some research before it hits the counter. Knowledge is everything when it comes to buying and selling. I’m not totally mercenary, there have been numerous times when I’ve mentioned to a seller that an item is way underpriced because of X,Y and Z reasons and they should look into it themselves. Entirely up to them if they wish to take that on board, they may have other reasons to want it sold cheap, who can say? It depends on how well you know the seller and who gains the most from the sale. In the case of the painting you found at the sale, did the church hang on to it because it is a valued and much loved artwork that due to some terrible misunderstanding ended up in the sale by accident… or did it sell to a higher bidder? Cynical, me?
I thought the barn had been let run down a LOT! It looked as though things had been there forever, as they were dirty, dusty, worn, and faded! The place will continue to “go down hill”! For a sale, there weren’t many people there, either! Bet they and pulled “that type of sale” previously!
Love love love Toni crooning away to “ Betty Davis Eyes” and You crooning “Got no strings to tie me down”…..stories to share with your GrandKiddos…..right now it STINKS and STINGS…..but laughter is always always a great way to just say “fooee on yooee go” to live a day…..
I tend to pick on TH-camrs who come across as rude or self-centred, but you are completely valid in the argument you are putting forward here. They let you do their dirty work, and I suspect, giving back the OZ books will depend on what their investigation concludes they are worth… Cheers to a great channel…🥃
I am sorry that this happened to you and Tony. I don't have the patience for that kind of thing, so I take my hat off to you for keeping so cool about it. The year is still young and I have no doubt better things will come your way soon. Take care Renee 😊
Hi Renee. You never know what can happen at a cleanout. But for family members taking stuff without asking is wrong. They should have just looked through the things before you all arrived. But using foul language is not good either for the buyer. Be kind and have a good conversation and things will work out in the end. I am soo sorry Renee , you lost the books. You will be alright my friend. God Bless you and stay safe. HUGS 🤗. Mari'a. 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍🌺🌼🐰🐥🦋
It always makes me scratch my head how differently some people think and process situations to justify there behaviour. You are very tolerant and forgiving Renee. Such a kind big heart. ❤🐨
The minute we like an item, they assume it's valuable, as we are dealers they hate the idea of us making profit, I pick farms all the time and find treasures they never knew they had, then they say " I want to keep that " I say, " you didn't know you had it " nope, they keep it, despite the time I spent rooting through crap to find it, It happens very often, rather annoying to say the least, your'e a hero for remaining polite,
I would have asked for my money back and then negotiated for what I was actually getting. People can be difficult. Always appreciate your videos, Randy.
Renee, next time you are on a pick and the owners are there watching don't squeal with delight at the objects you find. Just nonchalantly say something like....." I dunno....Tony..should I risk paying for these books? They're kinda moldy.....maybe I'd get a buck or 2 for them. " Don't show delight when owners are present.....if you can help it! Haha, it's so hard to not gasp in delight isn't it? I make a fool of myself at Estate sales all the time.
The owners sold items, then removed several items from the piles without telling anyone or refunding monies. There is a name for that- it’s called THEFT. The time to decide to keep something is BEFORE money exchanges hands. The value of the items that were removed while important doesn’t really change the fact that they removed items after selling them.
Tony is a true diplomat. I do not deal well with people like you dealt with today. Therefore I could not do your type of work. Good luck on your next trip to these barns. 😊😊😊
Sorry for the unfortunate experience. Sounds like the people wanted a "sorting company" rather than a pick or cleanout. Clearly they had no respect for you, Tony and your crew - and what you do - as evidenced by the language and reclaiming stuff after negotiating. Tony has the patience of Job, talking the people down from being all wound up. Focusing on positive, I did enjoy hearing Tony sing, "Betty Davis Eyes." Also think that Preppie Handbook will be worth hundreds soon - I think Member's Only jackets and 3 golf shirts which upturned collars are coming back :). I guess they took those two small Bibles, too? Really liked those. BTW my iPod Nano v4 died a few months ago and now I don't have anything to play music on. My phone won't hold the whole library and is too clunky anyway. Guess I will have to get over that. The renovated Mickey marionette will mark this as a good day - some day in the future. Hope you have a great Wednesday!
Thanks to you & a few others, I know at least one book to pick up if we go back! Never would have thought about The Preppy Handbook, though probably would have looked it up. Now to hope that it was spared from the mice! If my Ipod Nano ever bites the big one, ugh, I don't want to think about it! I've had mine for so long that it is a staple when I travel. I'd be lost without it! I don't know if it would hook up to my current laptop, as I've never tried that out. My luck somehow it would wipe all of my music away! Rainy day here but attended an in-person storage auction. No unit for me, but there's always the next one!
I've had this happen to me with business ideas when I thought I was sharing ideas among friends, but they steal the idea with NO remorse. Boldface thievery.
Yep, been there, done that, and got 10 tshirts! However, I can truthfully say that I have never wasted time being envious of other people, but rather spent my time developing my own talents and abilities. 👍💯
@@just.j5302 yep, I've moved on to richer pastures. I'm making more money with my side gig now so I'll leave them to their $6 sales at a time and their high overhead costs of renting retail space.
I help set estate sales. We are always having customers sign the contract and then start removing stuff from the sale after we leave for the night. I am onlyna grubt eorker, but I am always telling my boss to video each room as we set so she can see what may have been taken by the homeowner. Sadly, if the sale doesn't make the profits, they will tend to scream "lawsuit". It really is ridiculous that the homeowner (estate holder) seems to think that they own the stuff regardless, but once that contract is signed, they only own 50%.
More power to you Renee. You handled that with grace. I have witnessed similar behavior at estate sales & while trying to help family & friends clean out. Know what you or your family has prior to scheduling a clean out or an estate sale. Take the time to go through everything in case there are items that have sentimental value. I'm not sure how sentimental an item is when its laying in a dirty barn covered in rodent droppings, but what do I know. Most of those books look like a health hazard. Thank you for saving Mickey. I'm not a Disney fan, but he looked so sad.
David Gates was the main singer/songwriter for the group Bread, that solo album "Never Let Her Go" is underrated and a nice listen! : ) But those albums, like the books, were trashed thanks to them keeping them outside for years and years. Those weren't "good folks" - unlike most families in the country, in fact they were basically just crooks and first-rate jerks.
So sorry you had to deal with this frustration! These people were not honest. You were more than generous in your comments about them. And I'm glad you got Mickey.
You held it together better than I would have. I would have been more angry. If everything must go, that means everything. Sorry you didn’t get the books or pictures. Karma will get them!!
Not fair! They should have given you the money back.I'm thinking they thought they might be able to get more for those items elsewhere. So sad and deceitful on their part. The truth is, those things will probably just be put back in the barn to be forgotten again.
Wow Renee, all that work and frustration....how maddening! Estate sales here don't happen very often at all. People usually liquidate via auctions here, estate sales are VERY rare. If someone started pulling items BEFORE negotiations, I'd understand.....but after you've paid.....no No NO!
OH, MY, WORD! Sounds like hoarder family members we've had to "deal" with - nasty attitude and words and all. I get angry ALL OVER AGAIN. We are still dealing with the mess nasties: mouse, racoon, spider, bird infested poo and dust and urine - all nature. We BEGGED them when they were in their 40s to address these issues and yet... they are in their 80s and its just a BIGGER, nastier mess - and yet, they had no problem burning and trashing things that we determined had VALUE - like a further, "I can't have it, well you can't either" and "I'll make sure when I die, you'll get a load of #$%* to deal with"! When its family being nasty it is so difficult. God bless you for the energy you guys invested to receive this nasty treatment.
I somewhat am & that is why I told Tony that we need to be very clear-before we even step foot back in any building- that everything is for sale. Not just told that everything is for sale, but to confirm, confirm, confirm that it all is.
The owners took advantage of the work you did to uncover items they didn’t even know they had, or even thought were of any value. Your expertise of seeing what was a quality item made them not want you to have it so that they could keep it for themselves.
Great dog bowl. I find Ceramic bowls are the best for water, It stays colder longer and since they are heavy they don’t tip easily. Too bad about the books and album. Must have been maddening.
This sounds like a hoarder mentality on the part of the seller, they just can't let go, no matter what. 😢 Sad situation and not fair to you and Tony and other buyers.
I think what this family and some of the others you have worked with before may be doing is allowing you to pick through the junk and determine what has some value. That way you and the team are doing the dirty work and then they can see by the piles you made what the good stuff is without the family members even getting dirty. I hope you at least got a rebate on the stuff they removed from your piles before you left. I am not sure that I would be returning to this place after being treated that way. I hope things go more smoothly for you when you go back the second time. Thanks for sharing the ups and down of picking!
Not much you can realistically do in a situation like this What I would have done After paying for your stuff and took possession of it I would put some dollar bills in a book. Then say in a loud voice that they can hear “Holy Moly look at all these $50 bills !” and quickly put them in your pocket and drive off
I’ve been in a similar situation, and I said nope no deal and I wanted my money back. We fought for about a half an hour, and they finally decided to give my money back while cussing me out at the same time I would say no deal absolutely.
I went to a professionally run estate sale. It was the last day of a four day sale. Everything was half-off unless marked otherwise. In the garage was a dusty display piece made out of plastic (broken and cracked) with ten pieces of Blue Mountain Pottery figurines. Not extremely valuable but I collect them. The price after discount was $10. I told my husband, oh look BMP, I’m going to get this. The clerk in garage overheard me, watched me put it on hold table as we shopped on. Meanwhile he and his wife looked up the value of the pieces and said they cannot sell it for $10, they would need $40. I said that I would contact the owner of the estate company and let them know how you are conducting business. They were the owners! OMG I will never shop with them again. I let them keep their treasure.
🙄❤❤ Well maybe you saved those few books from the landfill. I like how you show the good and the bad of what it's like to do what you do. Hope the next one goes well.
Aww Renee, you're such a sweet soul. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Dishonesty & deceptive behavior is difficult to deal with, but at least you could walk away. Rise above it all & keep doing what you love. Good things will always come your way 💖
Everyone in the comments are the same way i feel...get you money back and walk away. So sorry this happened...you abd Tony doesn't deserve to be treated like that...i don't think another pic there will be any different...🥰🥰
I completely agree with you about this. My parents had to move out of their home as it became unsafe. Over 30 years of stuff in that house they have been getting out slowly. My dad has health issues and another issue just got diagnosed so they have been busy with doctors appointments plus tests too. They made a deal with some people who wanted to buy it for the land to build their house on. Sunday was the last day they were supposed to get anything out. Instead of being worried about important things this whole time my mom had been too busy cleaning out a closet with old sheets and towels. So she called me yesterday morning all upset that she they lost so much stuff in the house one being her wedding pictures. If they are that important to you that's one of the first things that gets taken out. Luckily they were able to get in yesterday afternoon to get more which I hope she grabbed her pictures if not I don't want to hear about them again.
I would be so "bleeping" bleep if they did that to me. It seems like they wanted you guys to do all the dirty work they were not willing to do themselves. Sorry you went thru this. Glad you got a few things. I like the longer video, enjoyed my lunch watching... TY
Love your videos and them taking stuff out and not saying anything is pretty underhanded they 100% thought you wouldnt notice I wouldn't even go back if it was me.
They only are interested in the stuff that you picked because they needed someone to "curate" the stuff for them. They figure that if YOU picked it it must be worth a fortune, and therefore they simply MUST keep it!! It has happened to me at many estate sales!
I had something similar to your story happen at an estate sale a few years ago. Spent at least 2 hours digging around a dirty, dusty attic that had things just strewn everywhere - closets filled, furniture falling apart, trunks jam-packed with garbage and some nice things. I found an antique painting with some damage, but it had a nice look to it. Not a professional artist, but still would look good framed. When I went to check out with my other items that I found in the attic, I was asked where I found the painting. I said under a pile of stuff in the corner of the attic. "Oh we can't sell this to you. We'd have to charge a lot of money because this shouldn't have been in the attic. We have to do some research." I asked if they wanted me to put it back where I found it, but of course no... they went & put it in their "high end" section.
Hey Lady next time you come across that Preppy Handbook take it!! Also this reminds me of back in the day when I would make the kids organize/clean out their closet every few months. Alllll of a sudden "Noo..that's my favorite yellow Lego" " But, I'll be so sad, I found this broken rubber band in the parking lot after the carnival on May 6, 2011"
Double darn! I feel your frustration and I’m so sorry that happened to you… but somehow I’m not surprised! 🤨I know and appreciate that fact you would take the best of care of the photo album and small books and treat them as the treasures they are!
Renee, the dog bowl could be Robinson Ransbottom out of Ohio. There should be mold marks on the bottom. That yellow clay and the stencil are a tip off. Hoarding is a mental illness, and individuals trying to let go of things sometimes have a really difficult time. Dealing with people takes patience. Not always fun.
You were not rude they were. But it doesn’t surprise me. People are unbelievable. I, myself, would have just left and said forget it. It’s not worth it.
That's ridiculous that you had to go through that, I feel for you. If anyone says anything about the family, take a hike, they had years to go through stuff and didn't then obviously it really didn't mean anything to them.
It seems to only become important to them after you saw the value in it. With all the water, mold and vermin damage, I'm not sure I would bring them in my house. I've also found silverfish in many barn find books. They don't come in the house.
Sorry you had to deal with such shady rude people. I'm 67 and getting rid of stuff now so my kids don't have to. I've had them take what they want and I'm slowly going through my stuff and selling or donating.
You are not rude, they were. Thats dirty business. Wouldn’t trust them at all. Sad. I get the photo album but they should have taken with them at that time. Hope the next time goes a lot better. 👍
been there too...made a pile and then oh this isnt for sale or we are keeping that etc...again like you said-remove what you want first before any buyers of any type come in
Oh, I'd be very mad. It's like the stole from you. You paid a price, including what they just took back without saying I decided to keep them. They as good people should give back monies. I would not go back unless there is a better agreement. Sorry, this happened to you and, I'm mad for you.😮
That obviously was incredibly frustrating for you all. I hope your time and energy reaps rewards for you all. I love your videos. Having just had my brother deal with my mother's home( I could not get to mainland Australia to help) It was so hard on him. My mother had incredible antiques, including a restored four poster brass and cast iron bed. Antiques in Australia are not selling. No one wanted most of it. (his daughter-in-law wanted the bed which I was delightedfor her). He believed that the items were valuable. Prepared to take them interstate, and store them. I asked him how much will that cost you in stress, and money. Plus storage fees. He thought about it. Majority of things ended up with the Salvation Army(who had a great second hand store in her country.
Woahh, the Nightmare Pick in the Outhouses of Hell. Purloined books, pickpocketed photo albums, effing and blinding galore; “ The grandkids need to see them and you can have them later…” what ????? Mental. Glad you retained the vintage Mickey though. Surprised they didn't reclaim that, looked desirable. Frustrating and maddening all in all though. Calm Renee, calm…. Laaa, De De, da daaaaa😠
People are strange. They should have gone through the items before asking anyone out. You are in the right. As of late, I’ve noticed there’s a lot of hate going out to resellers. I’m a reseller and the hate is getting old.
You have every right to feel the way you do. If I were y’all I would not go back. Let them deal with all the bleeping books themselves.
No you were not rude. They were dishonest.
The fact that you had already paid them for the items and they took it back is underhanded. I would have asked for my money back, or at least a chunk of money back. You and Tony are extremely patient.
You don't want to know what bleeping bleep I would of said. That's dirty business on their side Renee!!😮
They are so wrong to take your money 😢
So why didn't you ask for a return on your money? That's the most craziest part. Why would you allow them to keep your money?
It's bad business and the idea that you paid them for the items and they weren't even going to mention they took stuff back. I would have said too bad you sold them to me and I want how ever much for the items you stole from me. Otherwise I'm taking them. That was ridiculous.
You did all that work and then they use you !!
I would have asked for my money back. Then just walk away. Let them clean out those barns by themselves! Bad experience, Renee. Don't let it get you down!
Dirty. They are using you to find things of value that they can go and take. Not OK.
A few others have said the same thing & that certainly could be true!
The reason they took them back is because they think they can sell them for lots of $$$$$. Otherwise(having forgotten about them),they wouldn't care--that's why the books were in the barn!
Yep. My first thought.
Don’t even deal with people like that. They told you who they were right off the bat.
Turn around and leave. Not worth your time and distressing encounter and aftermath.
I would love asked for all of my money back and then left
I would have gotten my money back and walked away.

Thieves…
I thought the barn had been let run down a LOT! It looked as though things had been there forever, as they were dirty, dusty, worn, and faded! The place will continue to “go down hill”! For a sale, there weren’t many people there, either! Bet they and pulled “that type of sale” previously!
Incredible. I dig your level of empathy about the whole thing. I don't think I could have been nearly as gracious about it as you were.
Amazing out of all of those books they had you found the exact three they wanted to keep.
Imagine that! Haha :0)
They let you do their dirty work, and I suspect, giving back the OZ books will depend on what their investigation concludes they are worth…
Cheers to a great channel…🥃
I agree - go through the stuff so you can check for sentimentals, and valuables to you.
Renee....I could smell the mildew of the Oz books from here! (Colorado)...you came out ahead. Run don't walk away from these people.
It always makes me scratch my head how differently some people think and process situations to justify there behaviour. You are very tolerant and forgiving Renee. Such a kind big heart. ❤🐨
I agree with you. The books thing was unbelievable. Rude is rude.
Everybody always thinks their crap is the best crap and they're afraid you might make an extra dime.
Well said!
Tony is a true diplomat. I do not deal well with people like you dealt with today. Therefore I could not do your type of work. Good luck on your next trip to these barns. 😊😊😊
They wanted you to pick out the good stuff for them!!!!,
Sorry for the unfortunate experience.
The fact that you BOUGHT them and they took them(stole actually) is ridiculous. You have EVERY right to be fired up!
Even when you are upset you are nice. Better luck next time.
Get your money back and refuse to deal with these people.
Wow. What nerve of those people. I felt your frustrations.
Know
what you or your family has prior to scheduling a clean out or an estate sale. Take the time to go through everything in case there are items that have sentimental value.
I'm not sure how sentimental an item is when its laying in a dirty barn covered in rodent droppings, but what do I know. Most of those books look like a health
hazard. Thank you for saving Mickey. I'm not a Disney fan, but he looked so sad.
David Gates was the main singer/songwriter for the group Bread, that solo album "Never Let Her Go" is underrated and a nice listen! : )
But those albums, like the books, were trashed thanks to them keeping them outside for years and years. Those weren't "good folks" - unlike most families in the country, in fact they were basically just crooks and first-rate jerks.
Ohhhh, see I would have recognized the group name "Bread" on an album. Now I know who David Gates is if I should see him name again!
Wow, dirty deals done dirt cheap, I would have told them to pound sand.
Oh boy. I hope it is worth it to go back. I would be reluctant to.
I somewhat am & that is why I told Tony that we need to be very clear-before we even step foot back in any building- that everything is for sale. Not just told that everything is for sale, but to confirm, confirm, confirm that it all is.
Loved the little wicker chair!!!
I love watching you and I love you're little giggle😊
The owners took advantage of the work you did to uncover items they didn’t even know they had, or even thought were of any value. Your expertise of seeing what was a quality item made them not want you to have it so that they could keep it for themselves.
Great dog bowl. I find Ceramic bowls are the best for water, It stays colder longer and since they are heavy they don’t tip easily. Too bad about the books and album. Must have been maddening.
This sounds like a hoarder mentality on the part of the seller, they just can't let go, no matter what. 😢 Sad situation and not fair to you and Tony and other buyers.
Let us know if u & Tony get ur books back.
Not much you can realistically do in a situation like this
What I would have done After paying for your stuff and took possession of it I would put some dollar bills in a book.
Then say in a loud voice that they can hear “Holy Moly look at all these $50 bills !” and quickly put them in your pocket and drive off
Hahaha!! Why only $50?? Break out those $100s!
I'm really sorry that you had to deal with this. 🤦♀️
Wow wow, I would have got my money back, and never go back,😮😮😮😮😮🤠🇬🇧
Oh dear. I would have lost my marbles. I carry my stuff as long as I can because I’ve had things taken from my piles before. So frustrating!
I’ve been in a similar situation, and I said nope no deal and I wanted my money back. We fought for about a half an hour, and they finally decided to give my money back while cussing me out at the same time I would say no deal absolutely.
Did you see the framed 'Grateful Dead ' image leaning against the box, you walked by?🙂
I would have bleeping walked away, good luck finding a consignment seller 🤣
I'll give them your information! Hahaha :0)
@@PaperandMoose I thought we were friends? Lol

NO arm on a chair would have been for a lady with a big full skirt.
Renee, that red piece in the shed at the beginning is a sulky like they use in harness racing Those folks play dirty pool!
Deal is off. Give me my money back. I’m gone……
That was a dirty deal. Sorry you have to deal with that.
Make sure Taco Stacks goes by that house on trash day !! Might find some books and other stuff.
He'll probably leave the books and just take the metal.
I would be so "bleeping" bleep if they did that to me. It seems like they wanted you guys to do all the dirty work they were not willing to do themselves. Sorry you went thru this. Glad you got a few things. I like the longer video, enjoyed my lunch watching... TY
Glad that you enjoyed the video!
Love your videos and them taking stuff out and not saying anything is pretty underhanded they 100% thought you wouldnt notice I wouldn't even go back if it was me.
Tony and His Consignment Shop Gang lol lol unbelievable smh sorry that happened to You that was wrong!
There was an old framed poster of the Grateful Dead - everything about them sells pretty well for future reference.
Wow! 🤨What a rip off!🥴 I know you don't flip out easily. You are not a rude person but who the heck wants to be used or ripped off. I love ya Renee
Good video
Lot of people think you are
Getting over on them because
You are a reseller
Tomorrow is another day
Renee, the dog bowl could be Robinson Ransbottom out of Ohio. There should be mold marks on the bottom. That yellow clay and the stencil are a tip off.
Hoarding is a mental illness, and individuals trying to let go of things sometimes have a really difficult time. Dealing with people takes patience. Not always fun.
This was so interesting! Thank you. ❤️
Did you get the burlap sacks? I would have framed the wild one...rustic farm type of decor..just saying
We did get them!
Silverfish, yuck, I forgot all about them!
I find good stuff on the curb. I would've turned around and run as fast as I could.
been there too...made a pile and then oh this isnt for sale or we are keeping that etc...again like you said-remove what you want first before any buyers of any type come in
Oh, I'd be very mad. It's like the stole from you. You paid a price, including what they just took back without saying I decided to keep them. They as good people should give back monies. I would not go back unless there is a better agreement. Sorry, this happened to you and, I'm mad for you.😮
I would have had to have prices on stuff ! you are doing all the work picking things of value and they can say No
That obviously was incredibly frustrating for you all.
That is terrible! You are right, 💯.
