When i listen to Bach music i feel myself sitting in a church and praying God with all my heart and i feel angels surrounding me. This happens to me every time when i listen to him, Thanks for uploading.
G'day, Mr. Torossian! There is something very spiritual in Bach's music. I even have certain pieces I like to listen to as background music for inspiration in prayer. Examples: Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor BWV 582, "Erbarme dich mein, O Herre Gott" BWV 721, and as of very recently, "Ich ruf zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ" BWV 639.
i am very happy to hear that. Thanks for your comment. Simply, you touched my heart. Now i am listening Passacaglia and i was very impressed. Amazing work.
Connections between my brain and heart are amplified then I listen to J.S. Bach: Suites for Guitar. I love J.S. Bach aand I love acoustic guitar. My brain transmits to my heart and my heart sings.
Ve son olarak da kahve teklifinize yüreğimin en derin noktalarından tüm vücudumu sarsan bir istekle neden olmasın demek istiyorum. crazy when im a somewhat accomplished uitarist knows how much work goes into getting one movement of one suite sounding well sadly a long way as polished as any of this music. i think i could spend my life working at this body of work and not approach the ability to make such a recording. it's really a life's work to make such a beautiful recording of all this music.
As a player and someone who is always learning there is never a point at which you can say you are "there". However you can be proud at what you have accomplished without it hampering your growth. You must recognize your achievements and to play like this is amazing. Some people have the "it" factor and can accomplish a lot more in the same amount of time as someone else. Its not competition and I think you could master this faster than you may think. This music require a certain dedication to it in order to play it well. I took classical guitar with a gentlema around where I live who is a guitar legend. I learned more in 2 months and 7 or 8 lessons than I did in almost all my years playing. I plan on returning and finishing with him as he is getting older and I was not in the best place of life at the time. Now time to go find a piece and start working on it haha.

Bach is the architect of music...Very well suited to the classical guitar. This is a wonderful selection of Bach pieces. Delightful music collection. For your ears only! Thanks for sharing.
Recently house bound for 2 days due to illness, I listened to this on loop the entire time. This plus an excellent book made for 2 days of rejuvenation! I'm still listening even though I rarely can listen to it in one sitting. Fabulous musician and recording. Thank you for sharing!

I'm joining the chorus of those saying, "Thank you for helping the rest of us stay focused on the music as it flows on. We appreciate it and Bach would, too." ☺
However, I doubt Bach wrote these for guitar, as that was not a widespread classical instrument, but rather for a lute, I would think. Thank you Halidon for making these available for us mere mortals! All best, from beautiful British Columbia, an appreciative 78 year old journeyman carpenter.
Bach (1695-1750) passed on 95 years before the first really good-sounding guitar was crafted (Torres, 1844). The Lute or Lude (in German) and Al Oud (in Arabic) is maybe 5,000-6000 years old. Noah (of Noah's Arc) probably owned one. His grandfather played one. The Gypsies in Andalucía Spain (called Flamenco) had some fine guitars and were superlative musicians, but they could not read and write, so I'm not sure any one knows how well-made and how sweet and strong their guitars were in AD 1300, when they performed before the Sultan of Granada and later for the Christian Princess of Aragon. I speculate they were without equals in their woodcraft as they were in violin and guitar performance.
The excellence performance of this guitarist, adds another dimension to these compositions - no matter who is their authentic composer. Thanks Luigi Attademo. Thanks Brilliant Classics.
It's a calm summer night and the fly in your room starts buzzing in a different key than this masterpiece and just for a moment you think you've heard a new passage...
I stumbled onto this. What a pleasure to have listened to this tranquil music. For me it was a perfect match for Sunday, away from home. Thank you Brilliant Classics
You have to have passion to play this music, like you have passion for the love of your life. I can hear that passion in the composer and in the musician.
I had this one piece of guitar music by Bach in the back of my mind ever since I heard it in high school, now 30 years later I finally have a name for it! THANK YOU!! :)
This is an absolutely brilliant (the only apt adjective) presentation of these classics. Once more, I confess to not knowing this superb guitarist Attademo; hoping my ignorance, for his sake, is the exception. His attack & clarity are exceptional, exciting (the Gigue in the Dm Partita - wow!). It also seems the audio engineering is spot on. To my ear, it's as if the music is projected out of some divine realm; & I assume that is due in part to the fine instrument he's playing (info on that? - credit to the luthier). Once more, as well, I think performances like this have the capacity to make us listen to treasured, well-known works as if we're almost hearing them for the 1st time. Also appreciated are the notes - I didn't know (my night for ignorance...) pupil Krebs composed BWV996. If "ranks" matter, my own previous #1 Chaconne was Narciso Yepes', followed closely by John Williams'. Now, Luigi Attademo's competes with theirs. Some prior comments here speak of world peace. No need to joke: let B.C. take over a few dictatorships, we'll be right there.
Requested to Brilliant Classics info about the guitar used by Mr. Attademo in this recording, here is attached the very answer from Mr. Attademo himself: The guitars that I used in the recording are Francisco Simplicio 1926 (BWV997 - BWV995) Enrique Garcia 1897 (other pieces). Thanks and best wishes Luigi
Any classical guitar selections that you haven't already posted..... your page is fabulous & we LOVE you !!! Grazie mile, muchissimas gracias AND... THANK YOU !!! All the BEST !!!

this guy has super crisp intonation, a simplified interpretation focused on clarity, adds in nice frills and trills where others seldom do, its definitely not like Hopkinson Smith lute interpretation, but its certainly its own kind of demon. thanks as always.
The artist's reply to Sr. Vazquez (prior comment): "The guitars that I used in the recording are Francisco Simplicio 1926 (BWV997 - BWV995) Enrique Garcia 1897 (other pieces)." Thanks to all.
Nuevamente gracias.
Great music by the greatest musician of all times performed with great balance and taste by an Italian virtuoso. The word "virtuoso" used in the musical world is not by chance Italian....
This is brilliant indeed! It is brilliant that Bach has composed these tunes and they are brilliantly played and it is brilliant that you decided to upload these!
Without a doubt these are melodies that I heard when I was born (although I don't remember it. LOL), the ones that I still listen to today and the ones that I will listen to at my wedding.
Everything is fine..Only humans are kinda not fine..Greed-lust-anger-hatred-deception and many more...Yes same all, same all...But its the truth...As long as we are bounded by those chains,we will never be free..!!!!
Haha, sorry but that is really just another fracture of garbage pseudointellectualism. Without either lowness or lofty pretending, Bach makes life better!
This project, of uploading Bach's Guitar Suits played by these great musicians, is brilliant. Really and truly. Well done. This will go a very long way in the minds of many people.
headed to guitar center. my old.lady told me no more odd couple reruns. said i need a hobby. spend most of my free time watching reruns of the odd couple, barnaby jones, the glen campbell show, rockford files and baywatch. checked out some axes on guitar center's website. gotta love the interweb !! anyway i am stoked. at 64 i feel its never too late to begin anew with a challenge. i will take some lessons perhaps. or i could maybe find some demos of how to do this. some of these songs seem a bit of a challenge. i am confident with some practice i should be ok. this is such wonderful music. it sounds like 2 guitars so i might have to buy an additional axe. one for me and one for the old ball and chain. best to y'all and god bless
Enjoy life. Even if you don't become good as long as you like playing you will progress. To be honest I would start with something very simple. Too much challenge may make you give up. Most people who buy guitar for the first time give up.

Classical music never goes out of style. It's an important part of our cultural heritage, always appreciated and celebrated.

You may know he said this;
'Music is for praising God,
and enlightening Mankind'.
I don't agree with or support anything you have to say. I only liked your comment because I'm OCD and that "19" was killing me.

Or just 10 years at 20x speed
He went to the crossroads...
40 hours everyday
@@theloniouscoltrane3778 And up jumped dey debil and said "boo" !
Thank you for posting! You even named each piece - fantastic!
You have to have passion to play this music, like you have passion for the love of your life. I can hear that passion in the composer and in the musician.
I had this one piece of guitar music by Bach in the back of my mind ever since I heard it in high school, now 30 years later I finally have a name for it! THANK YOU!! :)
Wow Luigi Attademo - well done, if this was a video recording, no doubt I would be mesmerised the entire time. Beautifully played.
Dear Luigi, the ciaccona is simply sublime
Not Andres Segovia sublime, but nevertheless.
What a versatile musician Bach is
Thank you, Brilliant Classics, for sharing with us this wonderful guitar pieces!
Attademo himself:
The guitars that I used in the recording are Francisco Simplicio 1926 (BWV997 - BWV995) Enrique Garcia 1897 (other pieces).
Thanks and best wishes
Luigi
Any classical guitar selections that you haven't already posted..... your page is fabulous & we LOVE you !!! Grazie mile, muchissimas gracias AND... THANK YOU !!! All the BEST !!!
This, everyone. Is the power of music.
Favourites:
00:13:31 Suite, BWV 996 in E Minor: V. Bourée
00:25:10 Suite, BWV 1006 in E: III. Gavotte en Rondeaux
00:28:12 Suite, BWV 1006 in E: IV. Menuett I
00:31:38 Suite, BWV 1006 in E: VI. Bourée
01:26:46 Suite, BWV 995 in A Minor: V. Gavotte I
01:50:04 Suite, BWV 997 in A Minor: IV. Giga
this guy has super crisp intonation, a simplified interpretation focused on clarity, adds in nice frills and trills where others seldom do, its definitely not like Hopkinson Smith lute interpretation, but its certainly its own kind of demon. thanks as always.
Nice - informed critique; appreciated. Subtle control of tempo's as well (to my ear). Thanks.
It’s almost heavenly….
Thanks a lot for posting.
The music is fantastic as is the artists playing.
The artist's reply to Sr. Vazquez (prior comment): "The guitars that I used in the recording are Francisco Simplicio 1926 (BWV997 - BWV995) Enrique Garcia 1897 (other pieces)." Thanks to all.
So beautiful! Reminds me of Segovia.
So gorgeous! Atta boy, Attademo!
I'm amazed by the fluid style which emerges from a complete mastery of technique.
Bach is a diverse and fertile world, and a versatile musician
Nuevamente gracias.
Thank you all for compiling this beautiful music collection!
Our pleasure!
Violão de uma pureza sonora maravilhosa.
Belíssima interpretação.
Parabéns ! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Bach is my idol! Fantastic playing Mr. Attademo, and a wonderful guitar!
Great music by the greatest musician of all times performed with great balance and taste by an Italian virtuoso. The word "virtuoso" used in the musical world is not by chance Italian....
Celestial sounding. I'm not sure how anyone can dislike this, but some people are tone deaf and uncultured.
They listen to gangsta rap.
Thank God for all creative expression.. especially music!
This is brilliant indeed! It is brilliant that Bach has composed these tunes and they are brilliantly played and it is brilliant that you decided to upload these!
Thanks so much for share, beautiful and great performance.
no better music when you are stuck in and hospital bed with another broken leg thanks to the uploader 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good luck with your recovery, glad we could help in a way
@@BrilliantClassics thank you very much keep on with the good work
1:06:00 I guess this is the Partita, BWV 1004 in D Minor: V. Ciaccona. Spectacular.
Shut up, peasant
José Vargas ????
...the guitarsit here is the italian Luigi Attademo oneof the best guitarist and composers ever...
Belle technique et virtuosité Bravissimo Luigi !!💎💎💎
Without a doubt these are melodies that I heard when I was born (although I don't remember it. LOL), the ones that I still listen to today and the ones that I will listen to at my wedding.
Bellísimo. Un preámbulo del cielo.
Maestro Luigi Attademo is a wonderful interpreter of Bach's music! Thank you Luigi!
Brilliant Interpretation!
“Bach's music is the only argument proving the creation of the Universe cannot be regarded as a complete failure.”
Emil Cioran
Cioran has it wrong. The universe is completely fine. It's humans that have failed.
@@TiticatFollies I would even dare to say we're also fine.
An unbelievably pretentious statement.
Maravilloso: 13:30 EXCELENTE. Gracias por deleitar con hermosas melodías.
This project, of uploading Bach's Guitar Suits played by these great musicians, is brilliant. Really and truly. Well done. This will go a very long way in the minds of many people.
Excelente. Toda una obra de arte
headed to guitar center. my old.lady told me no more odd couple reruns. said i need a hobby. spend most of my free time watching reruns of the odd couple, barnaby jones, the glen campbell show, rockford files and baywatch. checked out some axes on guitar center's website. gotta love the interweb !! anyway i am stoked. at 64 i feel its never too late to begin anew with a challenge. i will take some lessons perhaps. or i could maybe find some demos of how to do this. some of these songs seem a bit of a challenge. i am confident with some practice i should be ok. this is such wonderful music. it sounds like 2 guitars so i might have to buy an additional axe. one for me and one for the old ball and chain. best to y'all and god bless
Paul Bissonette Bach Bless!
@@kathrynmcmorrow7170 why thank you Kathryn !
Paul Bissonnette Awaiting your first upload :)
Go for it buddy, I'm 72 years old and still own 5 guitars and play every day. It relaxes me completely.
Enjoy life. Even if you don't become good as long as you like playing you will progress. To be honest I would start with something very simple. Too much challenge may make you give up. Most people who buy guitar for the first time give up.
Superb tone. This is a very good performance.
And I mean excellent!
How could anyone hear this perfection and not believe in the power of divine inspiration?
Nia the Gulf Gypsy nia i couldn't agree more! some have such incredible gifts. i believe they are messengers.
beautiful interpretation of Lute Suites of JS Bach. Great playing too.
Bach can really grow on you over time...
just like depression.
