It's much different work from his gig as the acerbic (but fundamentally heroic) Dr. Stephen Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and even further from his first humble roles in British productions like "Fortysomething," and "Hawking," and finally "Sherlock," which brought him into the mainstream at last. I have noticed that since Sherlock thing this amazing actor has gained a lot of attention not only by the critics also the massive fandom that used to called The Cumberbitches which I was elated to belong. And apart from his nice nad impeccable work on tv the first time I watched him on screen was in Atonement a film that really moved me in an odd way mainly from Mcavoy's performance however I couldn't take out of my mind the Benedict's character so sinister dark and confused.... Wow!! From that on I started follow his bodywork not only in awe of his misterious voice this man is such an actora chamaleonic one!!!
I've been a fan since early on. There's nothing that he can't/won't do. I just wish he went back to Sherlock. He put life back into a hundred year old character. We need more. He is an educated Bristish gent. That is him & we need more. Gents are a dying breed. Class never goes out of style.

I love him as Doctor Strange, Khan, and especially as Sherlock but his portrayal of Alan Turing was phenomenal.. Just recently watch him as Phil Burbank and he doesn't disappoint.
