Joe & Jimmy have done some great stuff ! Jimmy was in a band called "Cold Chisel," in his native Australia when he was younger. There's a great song that Jimmy did with Tina Turner: Her song "Simply The Best," you should check it out ! Their duet was awesome!🤗✌

His band is Cold Chisel. They’ve been around since 1973, breaking up and getting back together a few times. He also has a solo career which is extensive. He’s sung Simply The Best with Tina Turner. He’s also sung with John Farnham (another rabbit hole for you go to down!) and Michael Hutchence from INXS, another Aussie band. I’ve been listening to him since I was a teenager and I’m in my 50’s. You won’t regret listening to him.

This is such a great collab between these two. Jimmy has really multi-talented kids too; his son Jackie, is playing drums on this track (he is also a very accomplished pianist too) , and can hear his daughter Mahalia singing back up. She is a regular on Joe's concerts and recordings. OMG can she sing!

Joe now holds the distinction of being the #1 selling blues artist in history... and pair him up the the Scottish-born Australian singer Jimmy Barnes and you have real soul. Please do Joe doing "Mountain Time" live at The Royal Albert Hall and his "Angel of Mercy" and "Cadillac Assembly Line" live at the Greek Theater. And you really need to see him with Beth Hart.

You have a huge catalog of songs to listen to Jimmy Barnes has been releasing albums continuously since the seventies and is still doing so now. He was 17 when he became the lead singer of Cold Chisel. When they broke up he began his solo career which has lasted 50 years. You might like his cover of River Deep Mountain High from his Soul Deep album which is also the album that the song Something is Wrong With My Baby came from.

I have been binging on Joe here on TH-cam for a few months now. He is an amazing talent. Jimmy Barnes is an amazing vocalist as well, just discovering him. Joe does a cover of Etta James's I'd Rather go Blind with Beth Hart, live in Amsterdam. By far his best performance I have seen. He and Beth and the whole band reach a whole different level with this song, beyond their normal excellence. Check it out.

At risk of repeating myself, sorry, this same reaction could be said of Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassas' performances, IMO, either Jimmy or Beth could bring you back to life and Joe would give you the spark.

So much radiates from Jimmy. His son Jackie on skins is nothing short of "power illustrated", then his daughter Mahalia (check out her Nasty Gal", then Lachey Doley and his whammy clavinet and Hammond... All that and more. The man saved himself and redeems himself after being down rabbit hole of drugs and wasted so bad. What can we not praise! Nice review!

Same organ player as in "Lazy!" Awesome! Don't know if you've ever checked out the band, Black Country Communion. It's Glenn Hughes, (from the band Trapeze), Joe Bonamassa, (lead, vocals), and Jason Bonham (son of John Bonham of Led Zeppelin) on percussion. They've got 5 LP's , and getting ready to release another. Saw Joe in Augusta, GA Feb., '22 and he's good as ever. Some of the guys from the Lazy video were with him. The producer of this video (Kevin Shirley) also produced "Lazy" and produces BCC ! 🤗🎶🎸
