Look st the athleticism and fitness of these champions 🏆 and look into the state of hockey now. Everyone from federation to players looking like clowns now. No one want to put effort into it. No one enjoy doing it. Fitness and athleticism of players is in the gutter. At least players should take care of their own fitness instead of always crying but may be lack compensation for effort is causing this lack in motivation. Sad affair
Feal sad how a marvellous sporting side has fallen from grace. Perhaps it is more to do with more of kids taking up cricket which gives more in returns in terms of money and screen time. Wish your administrators could do more in terms of school hockey.
Hockey was mostly played in Punjab. Now all Punjabi boys are going out of the country to earn dollars, euro and pounds. Others are busy with Tik Tok videos. My last visit to Pakistan I could not see any youngsters playing any sports on streets or grounds. During my time grounds were full with everyone playing some sport. All Pakistani talents comes from villages be in cricket or hockey. The city talent was never good enough. I don’t think hockey would be revived in Pakistan because except Punjab no other province play this sport.
