I just wish subscription plans weren’t so expensive every month. I have tons of iPhones and iPads. I would love to do this, but I unfortunately can’t afford $20 a month to get into live-streaming.
Hi there, Thanks so much for all your help online with this. I had a question: I have a recording studio, I bought two MEVOS to stream and film myself making music in studio. Which lense would you recommend for this? The studio is a bedroom studio not super big but not extremely tiny. There is a big window but also tons of bright hue lights. I want one camera to be me at the desk and one of the piano or rest of the room with the window with the beautiful view. What do you think?
Thanks for this great video, Lee! What is the range of the camera/how far can the camera be from the iPad/Laptop when wireless streaming and still maintain a good connection?
curious how well this would work for nature streaming, like at a bird bath, etc. Does it require the ipad to do the stream or can it stream directly to an rtmp endpoint?
This video was pretty clear and pretty close to you. Looking for that lens . You said it was the Panasonic Luminx 9mm F17 correct ? The clears video I have seen so far with the Mevo Core
Interesting idea, kinda mediocre implementation. Especially since it costs $1K 🤦🏻♂️ That’s the price of a regular M43 camera and for a change you could buy like Blackmagic switcher. No controls whatsoever on the camera, so no ability to use it for anything BUT webcam is just dumb. Especially for the price. Also, that preview delay is like 2 seconds, absolutely BRUTAL! Plus, stupid built-in battery, which means in a couple of years this is gonna go into trash, so that’s an instant no-go. And on top of all of that, microSD slot? Seriously, no space for regular SD? Overall, definitely wouldn’t buy it nor would I recommend it to anyone. P.S. Btw, pls don’t take this criticism personally, your video is good and informative, I hope you got reimbursed well for this vid, but the product itself is just not compelling whatsoever.
Let me address a few things. 1st: I don’t disagree that you can buy lots of cheaper m4/3 cameras. But you now need to buy wireless transmitter/receiver. HDMI capture card. (To keep the camera wireless) if you don’t care about wireless then I wouldn’t even look at this system. 2nd: the preview delay is going to be a thing when streaming over wifi vs a dedicated wireless transmitter and the app syncing multiple cameras and audio. It has to have a delay. 3rd: the battery can be replaced, it’s held in by screws.
@@LeeZavitz looking at the comments, I'm trying to determine if this is a good Idea for me. I am definitely looking for a wireless set up for vlogging and mobile live content.
Wish we could see how behaves outside, let's say i want to show a yoga session and have different angles, like on the beach and harsh light from the sun,
It would be great for stuff like that. That’s one of the advantages to having a proper camera. You can stop the aperture down or even put ND filter on the lens for harsh sun

If I was to hardwire these cameras to a standard video switcher, could I also use the Meo app and stream it at the same time?
When will this be available in the EU? And how is working with this camera or potentially multiple of those cameras in OBS?

In a well light environment yeah . Just wondering how the low light video would look like with this set up tho!
This may definitely depend on the lense you use. So try out your prefered combination and decide if you are satisflied.
Super cool device! Never knew I would want somethg like this, would love to use it as a permanent top down cam in my studio, does it support AF?

Yeah there’s lots of great lenses. I just chose that for the video because it had a cool look I wanted to show case
@@LeeZavitz I think I’m going to buy it as well.
Hi, is it possible for you to share the link for the hand held Mount and monitor you added to it. Pleaseeeeee
How would this setup work with OBS?
Here is what I found on that. help.mevo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360061673871-Multicam-Connecting-to-OBS
Vertical mode?
Can you live stream and record at the same time??
Yes. And you can even record internally to the micro sd card in 4K
@ can you stream Facebook and TH-cam at the same time??
Cmon man :D
?
We want Xiaomi 14 ultra vs pro camera video like u did with S24 ultra
If someone wants to send me the phone I will make that video. Otherwise it isn’t going to happen.
For that price range, I’d go with the blackmagic studio micro any time
$1000 SRP 😂😂😂 Good review though
Yeah it’s not for everyone. But it would be an awesome option for people that need this specific application
Is this Tiktok friendly?
