As an Explorer, I have done many ride alongside with Police Officers. I have seen things that cops see on a daily basis. I have seen cops do things only ordinary people can imagine. I have seen cops literally step between a knife, and their partner. I have seen cops cry, because something happened. I have seen crashes with fatalities. Many people don’t know what these men and women go through. Many people think they know what it’s like, just let me tell you something. You won’t ever know what it feels like to put on a uniform, that people hate every single day. You won’t know what it’s like to wake up everyday knowing that might be your last day. You won’t ever know what it feels like to always have to watch your back, cause someone may just be waiting for the right time to put a bullet in the back of your head. Now, I can’t relate to any of these, but i got the gist of what they see on almost a daily basis.

My mom had put me in all sorts of programs in an attempt to get me away from the environment that I was in. She put me in the Explorers as a last resort, and it completely turned my life around.

They Rock!!! Gr8 Message!!! RESPECT THE THIN BLUE LINE!!! Oh Yeah, Luv The Blacked-Out Patrol Cars!!! I Had An '09 Crown Vic Interceptor, For My Last Work Car... Fast, May Be An Understatement... Better Be Well Trained, To Drive That With The Foot Pushing The Gas Pedal To The Floor... Be Safe, For God's Sake(& Loved Ones!!!)!
very good video, few people really know what it is to be a police officer, put on the uniform and leave home without knowing if we are going back, they do not understand that we are human, with errors and virtues, but we have to keep going, in good times , and with more strength in the bad ones, I embrace in the distance my brothers in blue, Santa Fe Argentina.
Respect the blue because when you are in dark times they will be the light to get you out and find the bad guys. Help them if you can and you are a step closer to good karma

if the government is not going to include emotional management and intelligence together social and societal intelligence to our children in primary and high school, I'm sorry but in my eyes the government is as guilty as that citizen whom murdered someone out of actions of anger cause they didn't know how to process that anger constructively. why is the government guilty also, they are because they can prevent it by educating the children and not have them turn into monsters from their emotional trauma in life.
