I'm getting qualified as an 0311 right now, and planned to go firefighter afterwards whenever my girlfriend and I are ready for kids. Great minds think alike, no?
@Alex No, lots of public service members are ex-military. According to a 2015 report by the US Department of Labor, veterans make up about 10 percent of EMTs, 19 percent of firefighters, and 25 percent of law enforcement.
I don't know what it's like in other places, but here in NJ like 90% of firefighters are volunteers, despite the fact that they provide one of the few services that we can all agree must be performed by the government or some other civic-minded collective. Going armed at all times allows you to serve as your own police force, but there's really no way to do the job of the fire department for yourself.
As a Turkish soldier, I am proud of myself for supporting the country, the nation and the poor. Being a soldier is an achievement that not every man can have.
Tell your Father thank you for your service. I'm a United States Disabled Army Veteran and I have sworn an oath that will absolutely never die and it is people who served like your Father that I will absolutely fight and give my soul for!!! PFC J.M US Army Disabled Veteran HOOAH!!
As a US Army Disabled Veteran I served and earned my title, and though they have ended my enlistment in my heart, my mind and my soul MY OATH OF PROTECTION AND THE WILLINGNESS TO PAY ANY PRICE TO GIVE FREEDOM WILL ALWAYS LIVE!!!! I'm a future Marines/Navy kid. Thank you for your service 🙏.If it's okay I would like to hear your story, what you did, or if you got any tips when I say goodbye to my family for 15 years.
I'm gonna be honest: I don't think I will ever be able to do such a demanding job like a firefighter, police officer or soldier. And that's why I'm so thankful for the people out there that do these jobs and serve my country and its people. That there are people out there who put their lives on the line to protect others is something that will never stop to amaze me. Whenever I see an ACAB or anti- military sticker somewhere, I make sure to peel it off. Thank you so much for your service ❤🇩🇪
Hey, I fully support the military, grew up with it as an army brat, but don’t pull peoples stickers or stuff like that unless it is a threat. For example I am German too, German mother American father, if I saw a nazi flag i wouldn’t let it wave outside someone’s house or anything but stickers are much lower level. You can be dissatisfied with someone’s opinion without dropping to their level
@@florixn_de it depends on the severity if you should, I was taught manners, and destroying someone’s property for something like that is bad, if it was a racist sticker threatening people I fully support destroying the sticker but not just someone’s opinion

My dad is a volunteer firefighter. People don't realize the trama that goes on after some calls. I've sat with him while he vents about a call. He will forever be my hero. My uncle died in the Army. I was given the flag at his funeral. People don't realize how vital Emergency services and our military are.
When you join the military it's a experience that will change your life forever, not in a bad way. But in a good way. My brother had joined the Navy and went from a average college kid to a Man based on Respect, Honor and sense of Duty.
My grandfather served in the Sri Lankan navy at that time known as the Royal Ceylon Navy, he passed away in 2007, to this day my dream is to join the armed forces regardless of the country as I am a person who is willing to give my life away to save someone else. In the military, you don't make friends you build Brotherhood. may the almighty God bless the men and women who give their lives away to save someone else. Amen

I love this! I have two older brothers who were firefighters/EMT's, and then one went on to become a medevac pilot in the Army, and the other became a corpsman in the Navy. My dad is a volunteer firefighter to this day!! Thank you for this video, and most importantly: Thank you to all the brave men and women in the service of this country! We really wouldn't be safe without our soldiers, our policemen, and our firemen!
I remember the day my dad left to join the Afghan soviet war I cried once I heard his regiment got shot out of the sky he survived and fought to the death trying to defend himself.RIP dad
Not in the service, but I still think about a buddy from high school. Christmas Eve 2012 in our senior year, his family found him hanging in his room. Fast forward 12 years to this day, I still visit him at his grave to pour a bottle of beer. He had died before he was old enough to have his first drink. I still blame myself that I couldn’t save him, and that I wish I’d taken his place, but Im still haunted by the sight of watching the hearse drag his mother down the road because she wouldn’t let go of her “baby boy, my beautiful baby boy”. The entire year group was lined up in our full dress uniform, watching the procession. Wish he could’ve seen how many of his friends and teachers were there to see him off. It was a sight that still haunts me to this day, thinking about what if that had been me, with my own poor mum being dragged by the hearse. Sometimes I still dream that I’m speaking to him, only to wake up and remember that he’s actually really gone. If you’re ever thinking about ending it or whatever, please, don’t. I’d rather he was still alive today and too busy to hang out than ever having to go to his fucking funeral. At least I’d be happy just knowing he was still alive, and still okay.
I love our heroes & protecters..Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Police & Firefighters. Thank you all for keeping us safe !! Love and appreciate you all!!❤❤❤
It's not even an issue brother's, Our job is to protect and treat you at any cost and get You Home! Why do You think that we train so hard and with Special Operator's , In the 18 years I spent in the middle east is that I never stopped learning and Never Ever Give Up Ever!! Protect your men and women at all costs. Before I retired I came into the USAF PJ'S as former US ARMY SCOUT SNIPER after serving 6 years in the middle east, only Officers ever knew. I came to the middle east speaking fluent English, German, Russian and quickly learned Arabic, Farsi and Pashtun because I got tired of people speaking behind my back. I wouldn't trade my 18 years in the middle east for anything despite how freaking heartbreaking losing a friend or friends was, I wouldn't change my life experience for anything.
From former military (Marines, in my case) to current police officer, thank you. You know you'll never get rich in public service, or perhaps even appreciated, but there's something to be said about working for the public trust, for something greater than the "almighty" dollar. It's a life well-lived.
Thank you, everyone who put their lives in the line of danger for us all, without any of you our society would never be safe from the dangers of this world
Man wild land firefighters are definitely a brother hood it’s really nice I assume the police and in city firefighters are the same way. I hope u all have a safe day at work
Great video brother. This song is one of my all time favorites. I'm have a lot of history with all three, I wouldn't be the man I am today without them. Salute.
Super awesome Emergency Services/Military tribute! We are all Brothers and Sisters and watch each other's backs Love the song I'm proud to be a volunteer firefighter Danke very much :)
Honestly, I'm not enlisted yet because of my age but I have a year and a half until the date. It was a really rough journey for me because I was obese my freshman year, pretty everyone saw me as someone who wasn't going to do anything in life. That same year I changed my life around and I dropped close to 100lbs for the US Army but I also did it for myself. It was a major accomplishment for me and since I dropped that weight my exercised induced asthma was stripped from my body. I'm going to enlist as a tank operator or crew man or maybe a veterinary science profession if I score high enough on my ASVAB. The one thing that drives me to enlist is my little brother and mom, I grew up with a dad but he didn't do much so might as well say my mom was doing it by herself. She did great. I'm going to make the ultimate sacrifice for them so that my brother has a dad figure and he never has to worry about not being safe. That applies to my my mom too.

As a young man with hero’s in the family retired and gone I have a passion to follow in their footsteps and be a hero myself a firefighter
Amen
Hugs from here in Brazil to all these heroes from all over the world who fight to ensure peace and balance in this world

I love this! I have two older brothers who were firefighters/EMT's, and then one went on to become a medevac pilot in the Army, and the other became a corpsman in the Navy. My dad is a volunteer firefighter to this day!!
Thank you for this video, and most importantly:
Thank you to all the brave men and women in the service of this country! We really wouldn't be safe without our soldiers, our policemen, and our firemen!
I remember the day my dad left to join the Afghan soviet war I cried once I heard his regiment got shot out of the sky he survived and fought to the death trying to defend himself.RIP dad
Ah. Something similar here. had an uncle serve in that war.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Live life your dad would be proud of you ❤
Avicii is also a hero, a hero for being the legendary DJ in the world who creates emotional music.
RIP Tim.
Thank the vetarins for all their service. And we know we can count on them. This video shows respect and honesty. Thank you for our service.
Thank you to all who do this work. I appreciate you so much. God bless you.
not all heros wear capes, and these men...they are some of the worlds finest

@@kwd3109 Oh you mean a safer job than pizza delivery. Salt that boot first son.
Thanks to all of our military, paramedic, police and firefighter personnel May God bless them all
From former military (Marines, in my case) to current police officer, thank you. You know you'll never get rich in public service, or perhaps even appreciated, but there's something to be said about working for the public trust, for something greater than the "almighty" dollar. It's a life well-lived.
Memorial Day 2024 thank you AvIcIi
Shout out to my good buddy Zack thank you for all you do on the fire department protecting our town your hard work is greatly appreciated!

Great video brother. This song is one of my all time favorites. I'm have a lot of history with all three, I wouldn't be the man I am today without them. Salute.
We can all be heroes, just by doing one thing and that is protecting our wildlife and animals.
Salute to our heroes and lets give a warm round of applause to the intelligence of the creator of this video
Best video ever so well made love the song!! If someone showed me this video and then asked me to join the military there is no way I could say no.
