There is so much food in Thailand! Thai food is known as being one of the best cuisines in the world to eat and you don't need to spend a fortune on food in Thailand. In this video I will show you what I can eat for 5 dollars for a day in a tourist area in Thailand, Patong Phuket Thailand.

Cheers Darren, I am surprised the prices are still so reasonable. I’m sure the western focused restaurants and fast food have increased more than this? You do a great job educating travellers to eat local and put money into the local economy

We were in Phuket a few months ago and had a few meals at a few more touristy restaurants and they still seemed fairly reasonably priced as well.

I encourage anyone visiting Phuket to visit other places than Patong. That area is less than 1 or 2 percent of the island. Going to Patong is fine but enjoy all Phuket has to offer and be kind the Thais are wonderful 🙏

Glad to see the prices are almost the same around Phuket and I'm hesitate to go back to Khao Lak; old menus (2019-2020) are still online and new prices are double now there.!!

Usually when we are in Phuket we eat in Phuket Town, and not in Patong.
