    Great review. Nice hotel. Prefer a la cart breakfast as I've seen how some people eat like no tomorrow and wastage. Never do breakfast buffet again.

      Couldn't agree more. Yes some people surprise you what they can do. Generally too A la cart you know its usually fresh as.

    Hi guys can I ask why you didn't rate market stall food street food, have you tried eating the street food ?

    • @BecMattAdventures

      First time to Thailand , We had some recommendations from family and friends but really Thailand Newbies.
      We eat in Bali at market stalls and do find some stalls to be pretty touristy. Next time we go back we will hunt some down for sure.
      Any recommendations for us to try?
      Thanks for feedback.

    Maybe instead of Mcdonald's, try each country's equivalent of the Aussie Meat pie?
    Americans and Hotdogs and Vietnamese and Bahn Mi, etc

      No way , We love good value , We actually had those burgers as it was our hotel we stayed at.(Austrian Garden Hotel) The burger was delicious but we are with you on making our money go further. Was our first time in Patong, Always happy to take some advice where to eat as we were newbies in Patong.
      We appreciate any feedback you have for us.
      What it does show theres plenty of places that your paying Australian Prices and can make your holiday expensive.

      We are heading back for the 4th time in 2yrs. Anything Western is a rip off as you guys have seen! Head up to Nanai Road next visit. (4th road back from the beach). Heaps of Expats and great value. I get there on Saturday in an A/C room with a pool for $18.22 AUD per day.
      Cheers

    • @BecMattAdventures
      @BecMattAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Totally agree, some of those prices, full on western price. Was our first time in Parong, so had some places people told us to go , which I felt overpriced. If you have any tips for us for our next trip. Please share as we will check them out.
      Appreciate the feedback.
