It’s been tough seeing them have to deal with so many people who lack the proper patience for a game like this. But despite that they’re still doing an amazing job at giving us outstanding content! So glad to be here through this whole process

Another feature I'd love to see added at one point would be the ability to choose where to spawn on the map, so that way if we're on a dragon without wings like the Fireclaw or ASD, it makes traveling a tad bit easier.
We just gotta hold a little bit more patience. I've waited this long.. can't wait to see where the game will go!

I'm certainly hoping this is the big turnaround we all needed to refresh our interest.
I think that our continued patience as a community is really about to pay off. I have seen some extraordinarily promising things coming. The journey this game has been on is absolutely incredible. I am so excited to see the full roster of dragons and ai, and I love what they’re doing with the inferno dragons fire. 🔥🔥🔥

I've always been in favor of game devs not dropping a release date until the update is actually finished and ready to go. In the long run, it's just better for the devs and the community. With all great games, patience is always rewarded

This game is getting better and better. With the 1.0 update the game changed entirely (in a good way), and I am so happy to see the devs making it even better! With a bit of patience and hard work this game will truly become a huge success!
Be alot better if i could play it
Would be a lot better if the game was playable, if Jao kept all his promises, and if Jao would leave important memorials for long time players who put more into the game and community than he does himself alone and keep them in the game. Not use idiotic reasons like "he didn't live to see version 1.0" welp that's horrid reasoning.
I want to express my respect towards the devs for having the patience for having committed themselves to the development of this game for years despite the criticism and nay-sayers and continuing to do so for probably years in the future despite having reached a point with the game where, at least in my opinion, it feels at least equal to some games made by big, established companies
i’m a very impatient person but i’ve surprisingly have had a lot of PATIENCE towards this game. i really hope that all of the patience i’ve had is worth it!

Honestly, for me its difficult to have patience, but i've been getting a lot better at being patient. So no matter how long it takes, i'll be able to wait until it comes out. So excited ! :D
As someone who was an original kickstarter supporter, I understand being frustrated at certain things not being released quick enough. However, the game has come a long way and people need to show just a bit more patience! Itll be worth it.
Nothing has changed in almost 2 years now, all they did was add one free dragon (not counting bio because it’s ‘Ks exclusive’), make nesting harder, and make eldering harder
@@Red-wm6bt nesting doesn’t seem harder and eldering is changing. If you weren’t in a clan in the past who camped elder spots in the past you didn’t get elder as it was, so it wasn’t exactly easy (I never got it). I’m liking the map update and I’m excited for the weather, although I wish they added more food spawns.

Being someone who started playing pretty early on I can only see how much the game has progressed. How far they've come from the legacy edition and even from the editions before that shows that it is definitely worth having patience for the finished product
i really do hope they turn it around because they have been testing our patience for quite a while now, all of my clanmates left the game because they got tired of waiting and hopefully will be back when it releases new stuff
Everyone really just need to have patience when it comes to this game. I really do believe it'll turn out to be good if given time!
I do believe I have a lot of patience , might be my strongest trait, actually. I just want to live long enough to see this game do good. At least it's being worked on, so the hope is still there.

It's been a tough love-hate relationship with DoD, but after all the updates and progress Jao has made I can say I'm willing to have the patience to let this game prove itself. Lots of potential and I am absolutely excited to see where DoD goes from here

Waiting and patience is the biggest part of playing a newer game with a small dev team. The wait will be worth it when the game matches the dream for it
I’m so looking forward to the new update! Every time I learn something about it I didn’t know before I get more excited. But patience is important and I hope it won’t be as stressful for the devs as 1.0

I’ve played this game for a whole year now and it’s amazing. I’ve made so many good friends and have such a warm and loving community now. People complain about all the delays, but I believe with patience, good things will come soon. Plus in the mean time just spend time with friends and make good memories!!

Day of dragons has been my favorite game since i first played over 2 years ago. And it has come a long way in that time. It will keep getting better and better i fully believe it. We just all need some patients in this time of development

I don’t mind if eldering requires some patience, just as long as it’s an enjoyable and fair experience. I’m glad we’re moving away from competitive mushroom devouring lol. And maybe with the graphics change I can move up from lowspec 🤞 Or at least it won’t run at 12 fps. That would be nice!
All I've had is patience with this game and its developers. What I lack is motivation to play like I used to. It's very tragic because it is through this game and my spending hours upon hours playing it almost every day for years (since 2021!) that led me to meeting some of my now dearest friends (who I still keep in touch with outside of the game). Though I am disheartened when things are delayed or aren't what I expected, I still hold hope for the game! I was and am most excited for the new skin crafting system and am waiting until it is released.
I may not play that often anymore, but I always check when I see the discord server has a notification and will hop onto the game when they announce a change to see what it is like. I am still hyped for the game the devs and Jao have envisioned, and I am more than willing to wait for and help support this game until it reaches that level. Until then, I hope I can keep making friends and memorable experiences through this game!

i must admit, i didn't have the *patience* to elder via ticks when i first started playing the game a few years ago. but i also wasn't great at getting shrooms. I'm looking forward to seeing the new eldering method! thanks for another awesome vid pancake!
Patience has always been key for indie games. Players, in trade for having everything handed to them right away like complete AAA games, get to grow with and experience the game. There will always be ugly stages, but if you can stick through it, then devs can produce something amazing!

It's a good thing they focus on the quality and not the quantity. I had the patience to wait this long, I can wait a few more weeks for them to truly polish this update.

Remember, the best things in life take time and patience but in the end are well worth waiting for. The developers have given us all a lot with the new rollout, along with the excitement of much much more to come, give them time to make the upgrades, changes and testing so that DoD becomes the best game out there to play!!

I mean.. i like the idea of a fire ball attack, but fire breath should stay and be improved

Patience is a virtue, as they say! I'm okay with waiting to get that sweet, sweet quality content, but I do wish we'd at least hear what quarter of what year to expect each update--getting nothing at all is very concerning and results in a lot of valid criticism (it already has since the decision to not give dates). It's _more_ than fine to overestimate how much time you actually need and release "early"--that makes you look good!

Games in early access need TONS of patience to see the final product, can't wait to see this game fully finished
