Thanks for the video. I was in Mishima in December of 2017 for a conference at the College of International Relations. It was my first trip to Japan and I enjoyed it immensely. While I also did spend a day in Tokyo, which was an amazing experience, it was particularly nice to stay in a much smaller town, to ride the Shinkansen and also to see Mount Fuji. Coincidentally, I too stayed at the Toyoko Inn Fujisan Mishima-eki. My room was small, but it was clean and comfortable and the hotel also offered a nice breakfast. So, everything I needed.
Our Japanese friend is moving to Mishima this Jan 2024. This video is a great introduction to the city when we hope to visit her in 2026. Will check out the cherry blossoms around 1st April recommendation.
Outstanding!!!! Stay in contact with me. I'm in Japan eight times per year. I'd love to lend hand if I can. Ironically, I was in Mishima one month ago.
Anytime is a good time to visit Mishima. It will be colder than normal, but you’ll still get a great view of Mount Fuji. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Taking a bus from Mishima Station, the commute is about 90 minutes (to the ground level, named Kawaguchiko). Then, from the Kawaguchiko station, it's about 2 hours to get to level 5.
Thanks for the video! What is currently true about the repopulation initiative that supposedly pays nationals and foreigners to relocate and start a life in rural areas of the village of Mishima? I understand it refers to an island in the Kagoshima Prefecture... Please take care and enjoy!
Not sure about that. I'll look into that next week. I have a friend who lives in Mishima (near the border of Nagaizumi) and I can ask them about your question. Thank you so much!
@@parkourphiri8452 Thank you for the comment, Parkour but I don't believe someone visiting Mishima for the first time would be interested in anything like that. The videos have to be kept to a minimum to explain the city and what to expect, without getting too detailed. Thank you again.
Wonderful video and your pronunciation is soooooo clear, very nice!
Thank you so much!!!!

How far is Mishima to Mount Fuji?
