This is literally the best hot sauce tobasco has ever made
Original Tobasco sauce is good on anything. Down here in Louisiana, we look down on restaurants that don't have it.
Can confirm.
@Barry McCokiner its ironic cus you add more salt and vinegar.. well plus the cayenne lol but I bet its bomb tho
I didn't knew we did that here.
I got my bottle about 2 days ago. Touched my finger to the top and put it on my tongue. Within minutes I was breaking out in a sweat. It was love at first sight!!!
Ha Ha!! Yes they really did a great job with this one!!
Steve Hammond i sometimes take a teaspoonful in the morning to kickstart my taste buds for the day lol
It will certainly do that, but you may be spending lunch on the can with exhaust pipe fires
I like to drink tobasco
I LOVE tobasco, it's an amazing sauce.
This has become a go to everyday sauce. I was able to get it in my local grocery store in Connecticut.
I appreciate you showing the sauces with different foods. I dont like original tobasco, but this sounds awesome with oysters.
Just got my email confirmation for the second batch being shipped. Can't wait to try it myself.
Me too!
Had this for the first time on my tacos. It's hot and way less vinegary and way more peppery. It tastes great! About 20 times hotter than the regular Tabasco.
Yes this scorpion sauce and the Habanero version are unique and delicious
Great review Bill! They were sold out by the time I get to the site. This makes me want it even more!! Well done!!!
Thanks so much my friend!!!! Always appreciate you watching and commenting!!!
Thanks so much!!!
Okay, Bill, you are officially insane! I put a few drops of scorpion sauce on my dinner and it tore me up. I felt the burn you were talking about, and the burn proceeded down my esophagus, through the lining of my stomach, into my large intestine, etc. etc. It also gave me a great pepper buzz. Now back to you, Bill. You, sir, just gobbled down a spoonful of this delightful sauce, barely grimmaced, and proceeded with your review. Bravo to a true performer and pepper lover!
Tabasco comes out with the most amazing sauces on the market. A lot of uppity chile head connoisseurs out there steer away from Tabasco products because they are too "mainstream". Which is their loss!
i had many other brands before i tried tabasco and tabasco has become my fave!
Agreed
I think their original is a classic flavour enhancer but I wouldn't say it blows me away on its own. It's more like soy sauce to me than a sauce that stands out by itself. The habanero one is a fantastic tasty sauce though.
I really like the chipotle sauce… great smoky flavour without much heat.
Good review, I agree it is good for a super hot chili pepper sauce. It is usable.
I just ordered a 5oz bottle. I can't wait to try it !!!
Awesome Review, SALUTE Brother Bill Moore can't wait to try also !!!
Thanks so much Ronald!!! I really appreciate you my chilehead friend!!
I'm waiting on my preorder, can't wait to try it! Great review as always!
Thanks so much!!! You will enjoy it i'm sure!!!
I just recently got into Tabasco.. was really digging the habanero, untill found the scorpion 🤩 in moderation it gives a really nice lasting burn that you can cope with... But give that bottle few nice taps and shake it a little.....🔥 Ma boy ma boy... some bioweapon shieeet!!!
As of right now the scorpion tobacco is my every day sauce. I love the heck out of it on almost everything. Actually yeah everything.
@Barry McCokiner bro for real! This one is bomb. It creates hellfire🔥🚽
Just ordered 4 bottles off amazon, cant wait
Sounds a bit too much for me to consistently use but I’d definitely try it
I must get some of that.
Nice review, Bill! This looks like a nice everyday sauce - something to give to Grandma when she takes her teeth out and looking for supper.
LOL.....thanks so much for watching and commenting!!!
Great review. You really need to try their Sriracha. I'm hit or miss on Tabasco products but their Sriracha has been my favorite for the past year. It adds a little bit of vinegar to balance out the typical sweetness.
I'm a British Columbian, The "Green Sauce" is like gold up here, Highly favorited by many, Sriracha is also. Great video, perfec'.
You're a real chili head I see! Good review, thanks.
Thanks, Bill, learning a lot about Tabasco from you! We usually use Tabasco on pasta sauce here in Japan, believe it or not, which this is a little strong for, despite liking the flavour. Maybe I'll try some other uses for this.
Tabasco is still a classic go to when in Diners or truck stops....always good on the Dennys grans slam. Great review
I totally agree. Much respect for Tabasco!!! Tabasco and eggs......now that's something I always go back to! Thanks so much for watching!
I am an original Tabasco fanatic. I use it on everything. Costco bottles last 3 weeks. Just got this yesterday. I really don't taste or smell the original flavor in this even though I know it's there. I really taste the scorpion and tropical fruits with the vinegar. If I didn't know the original was in there I would have never guessed
Care to review Baton Rouge's Bayou Gotham Bayou Bourré sauce.
Great review bro! Ordering mine today!
I use normal Tabasco even on my chicken soup.... Love it
Hope I get to taste this one.
I remember hearing about this sauce and the only reason why I didn't get it is because the amount of scorpion pepper used in the sauce is small so the sauce is about 20,000 SHUs compared to the scorpion sauce I was using back at that time which was 780,000 SHUs.
Love, love, love their Habanero sauce. I've sampled more than 200 pepper sauces, and this is (oddly) my favorite habanero sauce. So many layered flavors, fruity, slightly sweet... perfectly balanced. The papaya, mango, tamarind and banana perfectly compliment the natural citrus of the hab. A woefully under-rated sauce.
Yes it's very good. I think a lot of their newer sauces are misunderstood because they really are more "saucy" than the original and they each have a lot of flavours going on besides the chilli.
I am new to your channel.I really enjoy it.Thanks Bill.
Hello!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate you subscribing to my channel.
scorpion sauce is perfectly suited for dribbling on egg, mac n cheese and pretty much anything you want to put hot sauce on. Its much hotter but gives a blissful afterburn moment after the heat peaks that feels wonderful.
Found a bottle at a grocery store in Mexico. Never seen it in USA
I love this sauce, my my my
it is hot.. but match great with eggs, bacon and beans ,,awesome flavors in this one ,,,,works great on tacos to
Thanks Bill.
This sauce is a great addition to the range, super tasty and pretty darn hot
Nice review.Would like your opinion Tobasco or Crystal? Out of all the new sauces out there I always return to these two classics
I choose the original Tabasco over Crystal!!
Definitely original tabasco.
I like Crystal, as well as Louisiana hot sauces. But they tend to add too much of their own flavor to whatever you add them to. Tabasco, on the other hand, adds heat and a little bit of flavor without dominating anything you put it into.
Love me some galic too!
Good review
Wow, never heard of it. Now I want it. Or do I!
When I seen you putting it on the spoon I thought you were a fucking maniac. I put only 2-3 Drops on my food and it felt like I was eating fire🤣 Good Job on the video Mate👍💯
Skip to 4:00 (oops I mean 6:00) for the actual review you came for.
No skipping on my channel! You must watch the whole video to get the complete review! Just sayin'!!!
Bill Moore's Hot & Spicy Reviews Sorry brother Bill... it was late, I was slightly sloshed and I just wanted to get to the point. No harm meant. I preordered my bottle of Scorpion. Make sure you add a $3 bottle of their Garlic Marinade next time you order. It's amazing.
I know....I'm just teasing you! Thanks!!
I say it a strong 6 too I agree 100%
I've reviewed 10 of the 12 Tabasco sauce flavors... I'm still waiting on my pre-order for the Scorpion Sauce (I also ordered the Roasted Pepper Sauce). My favorite is the Family Reserve; I also like their Original, Habanero, Chipotle, and Sweet & Spicy flavors. The Sriracha has been hit or miss; they've gone through several recipe changes, and the quality has just been all over the map. (The current recipe is quite good though; much better than the previous one.)
I agree that a lot of the newer Tabasco flavors are too salty... that's one thing I really like about the Original and Family Reserve sauces (both of which only have 35 mg sodium).
At any rate, fantastic review as always! Looking forward to trying this one myself, as soon as my order arrives. :)
Thanks so much Annika!!! I hope you are doing well my dear!!
Very informative review! In on the presale, so we will see when it arrives. I love the original Tabasco and their verde is top notch in my opinion. Only one that I didn't like was the sweet & spicy - too sticky & gooey. There are certain foods that I will only have the original on. You just topped three of them!
Hey Rich....thanks so much for watching and commenting!!! Yes....they did a pretty darn good job with this one!
''im gonna shake it with my right hand'' Bill Moore 2017
Put some on my tacos and whoooo weeeee that stuff is fire!
Is this spicier than their habanero sauce?
Yes
how come they don't sell this at a regular market places?
Its a limited edition sauce.
I'm not sure if you are aware of the TH-cam show "Hot Ones" , but they have their own hot sauce called the last dab. You might want to try it out. Keep up the awesome reviews!
Thanks so much for watching!! Yes.....I will be reviewing the "Last Dab" on my channel soon!
Cool!!! I enjoy your videos a lot because of your descriptions of the sauces. I have a knack for cooking with my nose, and I can almost taste things when they're described to me. Keep up the great videos.
Tabasco is truly world wide as I saw it in Moscow, Russia. Love Tabasco - use it in lots of foods to zip it up
Haha Bill just found it tonight for the first time in a store. It's way thicker than you are showing. Doesn't want to come out much at all without force. Purchased at Meijer. 🤘 Hot but not that level hot.
What’s wrong with using the original sauce on hamburgers and hot dogs? I use it all the time
Me too. I put on everything savory that I eat.
In Holland we have 4 versions now: Original, Green, Chipotle and Habanero. That's fairly new, we used to have only 1. All in all Holland is not a very good place to be a hot sauce addict, if you can't use the internet to import stuff that is. I don't like the original, but the 3 other flavours are good, to me. I even like the freshness of the Green sauce, though it is very mild. Habanero is my favourite, especially for the reasons you named for disliking it, There's a nice note of banana in there that you don't find in other sauces at all.
I wonder if this (or the new Roasted for that matter, though I imagine it will be mild) is ever going to be a supermarket flavour over here. I hope so, cause I really need a cheap, hotter go-to sauce without going through the hassle of online ordering all the time.
On a related note: we now have well known (to us Dutchies) companies like Heinz, Calve and Remia trying their hands on making hot sauces. The results are very laughable, like if you gonna water it down so much you shouldn't even bother. Ah well, just my 2 cents.
Thanks so much for that comment. I really do appreciate that!!! If these new sauces....the Scorpion and the Roasted Pepper are going to be in supermarkets.....it will be awhile I'm afraid. Based on what you said.....I believe you would love the new Scorpion Sauce. I don't hate the Habanero.....just prefer the original and garlic much more. Once again...thanks so much for sharing that info.
Little follow up, hope you don't mind:
Now, there's this British brand called Encona I found in the supermarket over in the Netherlands. Grabbed their "Extra Hot West Indian" Costing a little more than 1 euro for 142 ml, though I was expecting the worst. But no, surprised. Though my 2nd tasting was definetely a bit less positive:
a mix of Red and Yellow Scotch Bonnet mash coming through loud and clear which is good, with a Bhut Jolokia finish. It's said to have Bird's Eye, but I don't know how they taste? Little island flavour because of mustard, vinegar and Garlic. Not too vinegar-y, but a little too salty is all. Also it has both cornstarch and Xanthum, which gives it a texture that's not what it could have been if they left it out. Wouldn't seek it out, but don't be afraid if you ever randomly find it. Not great, still not bad as I expected it to be.
Flavour: strong 6
Heat: decent 5 (that's a plus)
Don't let this guy fool you this stuff is ridiculously hot it's got a Scoville rating of 2 million this guy must be one of the ones that he doesn't bother I use this stuff on sausage and my lips were burning LOL
As I've said elsewhere... original Tabasco isn't a "sauce" so to speak, it's a condiment.... You're not gonna slather anything in mustard, most likely, .. but you do, wings, with "Frank's" for example...Different animal.
$2.08 @ HEB, San Antonio, TX; 16Jun2020
i hope they make Version With Carolina reapers if used right it holds the best burn ..it is all over the same and dont sting like many others ...so insane good to use in Food
That would be cool. Thanks for watching!
I agree with you Bill 99% I disagree with you about the Tabasco Habanero sauce. I think the fruitiness is the reason it's so damn good,
I'm preordering right now, this will go under my emergency purchase funds lol
Thanks so much for watching!! I'm sure you will enjoy it!
I like to eat a lot hot sauce so I try to find the ones that are low sodium or even no added salt at all. It’s a challenge.
Yeah I agree. Surprisingly it does not taste too salty....just thick and rich.
so what...............
@mike negus What's with your attitude?
Good one Bill!!! I think good not give the rating in the description makes the video more interesting.
Really? Thanks for the feedback. Most everything I review is very good. All gourmet and artisan hot sauces. I stopped the flavor rating because all were so good anyway. If I don't like something you will know.....and if I really love something...you will know that as well.
Bill Moore's Hot & Spicy Reviews. Cool yeah bro Ive always thought it just kind of a "spoiler" but never said anything. its more fun watching the video and anticipation to hear from you verdict. When know rite away its just kinda spoils little I always thought.
This is not to be taken straight. I mix a few drops on macaroni and cheese, tuna or chicken salad, a few drops on scramble eggs etc. Never straight by itself. It is great with a few drops on chilly and beans. ONLY A FEW DROPS.
The original hot sauce is very good flavor on the hotter sauce it is definitely hotter but it loses its flavor
is this the guy from office space?
Where is my stapler?
Too sweet. Make ones with no added sugar.
I have drank hot sauce
Well done.
👍
I love putting tabasco on some eggs in the morning hones4y i put it on everything pork chops burgers pizza you name it i drown that shit in it
Why the heck wouldn’t you use it on a burger or a hotdog? You lost me there. Tabasco is great on just about everything from sushi, pizza, hotdogs, eggs, fish and other meats.
A real hot sauce
No Ketchup Just Sauce Raw Sauce
Great review Bill, I love Tabasco sauce. Please drop by my mew channel and say hi soon.
Thanks so much Simon!!! I really appreciate that!!!
Id say a 7
Meh, $7.98 is way too expensive IMO.
Dont like Tabasco
Sriracha is for people who think they're into hot sauce.
