- This is the Star Wars Battlefront 2 ( 2005 ) the original nostalgic game made by Pandemic Studios. This was one of my favorite games as a kid and follows the 501st from the Clone Wars to the Galactic Civil War. On this part the 501st take Mygeeto and save Coruscant.

I personally liked it where they were trained order 66. Because the way I interpreted it is that they knew about when the order happened that some clones had conflicted feelings about it since it's said that some legions were really close with their jedi commanders but despite that they still had to carry it out so they wouldn't be branded as a traitor

How can they not improve on a game after 20 years of technological innovation? It should be practically flawless, and with everything the fans wanted implemented.

pro i need to set the record straight on somethingt the clone wars cartoon was created before disney bought starwars therefore the inhibitor chip was made before disney took over. im so tiered of people disliking the inhibitor chip just becuse they say diney came up with and thatthe one who do like it say disney came up with it. they did not. the show writters came up with it. remeber disney canceled the show the moment they aquired starwars. so the chip was already introduced before the aquisition.
People forget how hated the prequels and George Lucas were during the 2000s.

Hopefully the update certifies soon because it’s been a week since they announced the update was submitted to consoles. If we are lucky it’ll drop this week. Half of the campaign story missing is insane.

Oh man, I remember Krell from Clone Wars real well, he was a real disgrace. Tried to order his Clone Troopers to do horrible things, things they did NOT approve of, at all. Even tried to get other Clones to wipeout those who disagreed with him, too. Thankfully, Captain Rex stood up to him, and convinced his brothers to do the same.
Believe it or not. The gta verse lore explains that the clone troopers handled order 66 with both the inhibitor chips and some head troopers having free will to kill the Jedi. So some Star Wars lore of the gta verse are both a mix of legends and Disney canon. But it leans heavy for legends stories.
Plus the gta verse has multiple earth like worlds. And also the Star Wars galaxy is canonical. And Theres also the lore of elder gods that exist in the galaxies. It makes sense that the logic of gta protagonists survive because their plot armor is actually some form of the force. Or perhaps some boost of human durability. It explains why some criminals survive bullet shots and explosions. Even in movie form.
I love your gta verse lores. Even it makes Star Wars galaxy canonical. It has some sci fi without having it to clash with the gta world. Like it was stupid when in saints row 4, the boss becomes the us president and then some alien invasion occurs. And then have some matrix type assimilation.
with the recent patch on PC, the cutscenes have been added back in, just waiting for consoles to get the update too

PC version has a little different UI. Space battles on PC also let you go in first person in the cockpit if I remember correctly

When the empire was formed the 501st was turned into Vader's Fist only the best of the best were allowed in Vader's Fist when the clones were phased out

Honestly, it's a tie between Mundi and Luminara Unduli for the worst of the order during the Clone Wars. If I had a master like her during all of that, I'd probably bomb the temple too.
I didn't know Mundi was a big jerk, but what did Luminara do that was bad?
@@broden4838 Long story short, she was a massive stickler for the rules and regulations set forth by the Jedi Code, never willing to deviate from it even if the situation demands it. This caused unnecessary losses for the 41st division on more than a few occasions. She also has displayed sociopathic tendencies, not as bad as Mundi, but she was perfectly content and willing to leave her apprentice Barris Offee and Ahsoka Tano to die without checking the wreckage of the droid factory first like Anakin wanted to. She also may have been responsible for the death of the Martez sisters' parents, though circumstances of what happened are unknown.

The ending cutscenes for the collection were added after the first patch though. At least this is the case for the pc version, not sure about other platforms.

Honestly, I didn't like the inhibitor chips. The Jedi would sense the clones being mind r**ed, and with the clones being trained for order 66, it's just like the other stuff Palpatine's been plotting. The Jedi were deceived and paid the price for it.

I agree it's too expensive and unfortunate that the new collection is so broken and unfinished. But I'm sure he already has played the new two battlefronts. They're decent but these old ones are good and offer something from a different time. They're still fun and play different, itching a scratch the new ones don't. If you guys don't like it fine okay but the game is good to others. Plus many of us have good memories with the game. Helldivers 2 seems fine but there's room to play multiple games and this isn't that game. Graphics aren't everything, alright
