I just realized that the thing I probably enjoy the absolute most, about this whole What If scenario, is the relationship between Raditz and Kakarot. The have never felt this... *brotherly*, before, not even in the classic "What If Raditz turned good". If anything, she's basically a fusion of Videl and that girl Goten dates in GT. Similar peppy and understanding attitude of Videl, but with a gentler grace to her that let's her keep everything down to Earth; all without being an oblivious princess.
I won't lie... I completely forgot that Gohan was still alive. Such a touching scene tho ;-;. Also Vegeta and Nappa haven't been around either, didn't realize that till now XD. I appreciate how fast paced this part was. Best Majin Vegeta also!
Grandpa Gohan death got me teared me up .He lived all the way to the Cell Games Arc and got to meet his adoptive great-grandchildren Kyaro and Bulla. I wish he got to meet his other adoptive great-grandson Jarga. I love how Erasa is more involved here. I always felt that Erasa was underutilized in the main story I wish she became a Z-Fighter.
'The kids found it very terrifying' When i saw happened to my grandma a few years ago. Seeing that decline, then seeing I wasn't equipped to care for her the way she needed..... Then those final few months. It wasn't a picnic for the adults either. Especially raditz.
I don't know why but I like this Majin Vegeta a lot more than other what if Majins we've seen. Like if you think about everything Vegeta went through in Dragonball Z to slowly start softening him, he's had none of that. It's like this is Vegeta's darkest timeline.
Well we could have kakarot fighting Vegeta while radditz and kids fight buu possibly leading to radditz sacrifice. Kids haven't used time chamber. Maybe ultimate Raddits .

The timeline loves to circle back on itself. In preventing Vegeta from having a life on Earth, he becomes a TRUE Majin Vegeta far earlier than normal, and now… Goku doesn’t even have SSJ3 to call upon.
My own grandfather had alsheimers and passed away in a very similar manner unfortunately. The scene made me tear up a little thinking back to all of the memories I made with own my grandpa Gohan.

I would think both Bulla and Kyarro would have gotten SSJ2 by now because of their hybrid potential, but haven't mastered it yet like Raditz and Kakarot. So Bulla & Sharpner and Kyarro & Erasa, huh I like this set up. 👍 Maybe Kyarro becomes a professional baseball player with Erasa as his manager. 🤔 Huh, so Jarga/Goten's personality is completely different from his canon self interesting differents here. 🤔 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

Great use of Majin Vegeta. What’d be even more awesome is if he and buu decide to join forces to fight raditz and Goku. If say buu gave Vegeta pieces of himself, or bonded to his body like a suit, he could heal Vegeta, giving him zenkai boosts to push him so much further after taking devastating attacks from raditz and Goku. Looking on it more, Buu can rationalize strengthening Vegeta in a fight as making his food tastier before inevitably consuming him, bobbidi using his magic to strengthen Vegeta underneath. This is where Vegeta wearing buu could candy beam Goku and devour him, pushing Raditz to retreat with the supreme Kai to train with the z sword while kami keeps watch at the lookout. Vegeta would feed buu more people on earth to calm him down, fight the kids in his new form possibly before feeding them to buu, both to heal himself and feed buu to grow this symbiosis between them. Rationalizing to bobbidi that this Union has been working to keep buu at ease and compliant, he decides to push Vegeta underneath with his magic, casting spells that push his body even further than before to the point of injuring him and asking buu to heal him as the magic transforms him so he can be better at getting buu’s treats. This is where one could easily imagine buu could grow, or act in place of Vegeta’s tail, throwing up an orb to transform him into a great ape in super saiyan. Combine this with wearing buu and he throws out a human consumption attack that devours all of humanity, except kami as he hasn’t been picked up as a human and hasn’t interfered with events. This is where kami might contemplate merging with king piccolo to strengthen himself. As for Raditz, as he train’s with the Kai’s he breaks the the sword and out pops elder Kai. He grants Raditz the Ultimate Form in order to take out the duo of Vegeta and buu. As he returns to earth, Vegeta has focused his power into that of a super saiyan 4, up against raditz, the ultimate saiyan. During the battle, buu finally absorbs Vegeta to fight ultimate raditz. Raditz still has a tail and is in his ultimate form, so he goes for a Hail Mary play. Seeing as it’s just buu and not Vegeta wearing buu, Raditz decides to gamble baiting buu into fighting him at his mightiest. Raditz looks at the power ball still in the air that pushed Vegeta to his greatest state in his ultimate form, becoming the ultimate great ape. This shreds into buu, splitting him to atoms. After blasting the power ball from the air, raditz goes to kami to talk about the dragon balls. After collecting them, they wish back everyone harmed by Vegeta and buu. Raditz in his new form continues training and his brother keeps pushing him.

This was quite the episode. I was excited to see more of the kids and the story with Grandpa Gohan hit me. My grandmother had dementia and passed last year so it hit close to home. I do hope we get to see the adult designs of Bra and Kyaro soon! Well done! This is one of my favorite episodes in the series!

Hey MasakoX, here’s an interesting idea for you. Raditz could keep the 4 star dragonball like Goku did in canon, but it would have more meaning behind it. He’d keep it not only in memory of Grandpa Gohan (rest his soul) but also because it’s the reason he and Bulma met. Just a little cute idea.
