I forgot how many attacks Raditz had that are so skewed to fighting two people. Stuns, double Sunday, just regular hits he tends to split, it’s like he’s VERY practiced in being jumped

Vegeta and Nappa used him as Bait
The guy does solo genocides for a living. If he's not killing AT LEAST two people per attack, he'd never get ANYTHING done. And even then, he's just one Raditz; he's bound to miss a few, every other planet or so. Imagine the sort of devious fuckery he faces daily from the suicidal fanatics in his Last-Surviving-Members-Only Club. It's not like Frieza's going to send anyone to back him up, and Vegeta only lets him live because Nappa uses him to train saibamen for his cockfighting hustle.

The fact that Raditz, the one guy that is almost ALWAYS in all DBZ games because of his role as the first bad guy of the series, isn't playable in DBFZ is crazy to me
Perhaps if he did anything unique or interesting itd be different

First bad guy of Z. Not the series. Thats an anime only distinction too. Its all one story in the manga, and I believe the first villian is oolong.

Raditz having his father’s intro is actually really fitting since he, by default, is a lot more like Bardock than Goku is, what with the no head injury and all.

I love all the moves they reused to reference his fight with Goku and Piccolo, with cooler's knee kick to reference him kneeing Goku in the gut, and the stomp he did after knocking Goku down
yeah rc did point out a lot of those choices were deliberate references, i simply did NOT have time to include the more minute stuff and finish this on time.

The fact that RC can make such content off of one fight and some game content really makes me wonder why people blab about "not enough source material". Like do you know how much source material there is?

They have other forms and other fights and can even reference o t h e r characters if you're really desperate. There's always something you can do if you don't want to be original. And yeah, Buuhan and cell are fire😭

I would love Raditz in DBZF. He's my favorite of all the Saiyan designs. Has a very underrated move set, He was the status quo of utility and brutality Vegeta or Nappq appeared giving us a glimpse into how violent Saiyan Warrior could really be, and someone with the most uniquely named, colorful and visually appealing ki moves. IMO. Having all 3 sayains on the same roster would be SUPER dope

Plus its easy on your fingers, you get to troll for long periods of time.
Doing that kind of strat seems very in character for the Saiyan Squad. Probably more so for Vegeta, but still fits Raditz.

Oh Raditz, for being the one to introduce many to what they should expect for the Dragon Ball franchise moving forward, having a cool unique design and being *the main character's brother* you deserved being in DBFZ and so much more

@@user-gk6nt5gi5n Yeah he’s irrelevant with what was done with him. In any other story he’d play some part of every saga. If maybe dying for dramatic effect later for character building. Heck even Nappa, the literal embodiment of the big dumb goon who’s purpose is to show off how scary his boss is, had more impact on the story than Raditz.
@@theonewhouploadsnothing1704raditz was purely to show saiyans aren't like Goku and that they are ruthless beings so Goku not being able to change him was important since they wanted Vegeta the prince of saiyans to be on another level
@@Yadadameanfool But Vegeta did end up changing. Sure it wasn’t fast (thank goodness) but he still changed his ways. Raditz would have taken that journey instead of Vegeta should the story follow the usual main character sibling tropes.

I like the idea on how they made Raditz strong. Due to how he dominated his opponents on first arrival and how he was leagues ahead.
What I'm mostly impressed with is how the mod is faithful to Raditz's various depictions, from the anime to other games. It's not just "Hey let's borrow moves from characters". Amazing!

His insane combos and moves, while also working very alike to a normal character is great.

Mostly when talking about Big tournaments where money is on the line.
@@BackOff_xd I prefer sticking to those characters because I have an actual motivation for wanting to learn them beyond just them being better than other characters in the game. That's just how my brain works, and I always tell new players to any fighting game to stick with characters they like the most before moving on to other characters.

With so many references and an insane amount of effort you can tell this was made by super fans filled with passion and love for dragon ball. Amazing to see hopefully ark sees the hard work and implements some of it in the sequel
It's really fascinating how much stuff this version of raditz carries over from extreme butoden, the bullet flick, backwards kick, jumping knee, and the stomp are all pretty similar. Incredibly impressive stuff, mad props to the creator
this mod is sick as hell. always wanted raditz in the game, and now that he is in some capacity, i’m very happy.

Raditz has gotten a lot of love as a what if character due to his status as Gokus brother and the potential we’ve lost with his death.
This is entire project feels like a big love letter to him after seemingly being forgotten again.
It makes him feel like the big bad he was before he was outshined by Vegeta and I absolutely adore it.
i so badly want goku to revive his family and give them a redemption arc now that he knows about his past

I swear, jokes aside about the names of some of his attacks, Raditz is one of the more underrated characters in the franchise. This does him justice, love it!
Also, with Radditz, we finally have the entire Saiyan Saga cast playable.

I mean then he'd just have random bullets he can spawn in just because. But it's a great reference so I don't care lol
I would love if Raditz had a different intro animation and possibly a different super, but man there's so much care and thought put into the moveset that I can't help but be impressed. Raditz is finally playable in Fighterz.
I wonder if this will potentially prompt the dbzf designers to try and make the character officially, or if this will just open the doors for other new modded characters making their way into the game.
And Raditz better have a Sonic the Hedgehog alt

Well, Raditz have the intro and level 3 super of his father, that's actually a cool reference: Raditz living up to the legacy of Bardock

@@BadModder The intro isn't changed, because that's literally just Bardock's intro. I'm pretty sure the ending is ripped from Piccolo. How is ''everything'' changed? Literally all of his moves are ripped from pre-existing characters. Yes, Raditz is a lot more creative than SSG Goku and Gohan Beast (who are terrible mods), but he's still not ''fully custom''. And he's not indistinguishable from official characters, so let's stop being delusional.

It is about time we start to include custom characters in tournaments, these are getting so good. All the modders deserve a lot of praise for their amazing and hard work, and Moldy Bagel too, for this awesome breakdown.
It would be cool for sure but it wouldn’t only work for the PC version and I think most tourneys are on ps4. Also balance would be a nightmare

This one is really good. I could absolutely see it being tournament legal despite the fact he got some powerful tools, it’s not oppressive like some of the official dlc characters we got.
My tournaments already allow raditz since we are a pc group and ui goku is banned anyway
Raditz using a variation of Bardock's intrl is perfect even w/o being an edit due to being a mod

That's cool how much can be done with a good base. There's a lot to work with since most saiyans have similar movesets already. I feel like Super Buu could be another reasonable mod target since a lot of his kit can be pulled from kid buu, fat buu, and piccolo, maybe even beerus or baby.
For a mouth beam attack they could use DBS Broly's reflect animation.

@@jacobsimpson398 That's fair. He seemed like he would be a cool mix of fat buu resets and kid buu mix while maybe having the assist steals like baby does. Honestly, a better mod pick would be Hercule with no super dash, but taking different characters command grabs and giving them unique animations to make him a fighterz grappler.
@@b_but_not_2b I'd like to see him like a mix of that and Android 21. As he defeats a character with his LVL 3 and eat it, he gains a skill. But unlike 21 he can use it for the rest of the game.
Jesus this is absolutely incredibly well done, the references, the breakdown, animations and moveset, not only did they do an incredible job with the mod, but the love and care make him literally fit into the roster seamlessly. And also he seems really strong lol, amazingly well done.

Character looks kinda crazy ngl, but this is fantastic from a logistical standpoint. An experiment that shows custom characters that are unique are indeed possible. Looking forward to the future of the modding scene!
The down heavy he borrows from Broli is also a reference to him jumping on Goku's chest after Goku let go of his tail. It is almost the same pose.
This is perfect. But as an extra funny slice of life thing to share between all of the tailed Saiyan characters, I wanna be able to have an alt light jab that’s literally just smacking the opponent with their tail.

This is beyond words. There needs to be Official tournaments with this mod and future ones.
Im a big fan of the scouter mechanic and the clever uses of different assests to make a really cool move with a really cool reference, good stuff to all the people involved👍

I await the moment in future when all moded characters won't take a slot of other character. That would be such an amazing revolution! Love the work everyone did with Raditz (who i really wanted to see in dbfz since beginining) making hin and other moded characters not only playable but have references and so much care put into. I'm so hyped for other insane additions like maybe Dabura or Tao Pai Pai?
Personally I want a mod for Super Buu with an absorb lifesteal ability, a Whis mod, a Toppo mod (With a lvl 3 that features his G.o.D form), and a Gogeta SSJ mod solely so I can have an entire team of Gogeta.

A few friends and I were talking about Raditz's backkick, and how it was in Extreme Butoden. I wasn't a fan cause it kinda looked dumb and clunky. One of em was saying "Ank, you GOTTA love the move. It's a reference." I told him to eat shorts, and that it's a failure as a move cause it looked clunky, probably played clunky, and there is no possible way in hell to make it look saucy. Then this vid pops up and theres a DAMN FOUR WAY MIX with it?!
Explaining the vacuum and backwards-backwards kick too, really drew me in. The visual comparisons between the moves are much more vibrant and lifelike too by using the actual animations instead of pictures, along with the way they jump into frame. It really draws attention! Man, the vid + music choice makes Raditz look very fun, and those combos + that pressure with his moves; you and the team behind Raditz have REALLY outdone themselves in hyping this man up, major props. Like legitimately, the only thing stopping Double Sunday from being the most Raw-feeling level one imo is the sound effects, and we have DBS Broly, Hit Shotgun, and Tien. It looks PHENOMENAL AHHHHHH

This guy is easily the best midded character so far. The creator put very much of work into him and it shows. Referencing other games and the official show is very detailed. Amazing!

5:16 There's something so inherently funny and satisfying with Raditz absolutely obliterating Legendary Broly's ki blasts, as if Raditz was a way powerful foe.
Man, modders are the coolest people in gaming. They make something like this solely because they can and want to.

SINGLE SUNDAY and the FINISHING FRIDAY
Raditz is definitely an interesting character, as he started how DBZ will go, was basically forgotten afterwards, but still has quite a fan base behind him and this mod basically shows that.
Now if they ever do bring Raditz to a ‘current’ timeline, I think it’s best to make him like Original Bardock so that he’s not just a poor version of Vegeta.
