I just got my B20SX today. Love the box design it came in! Very sleek design to the B20SX, it's the same height and width as my previous B30 so I just used the same carrying case. I was expecting it to be a little larger, love the size of it.
Very tempted to buy this as a pico 8 device since thats what I mostly use my rgb30 for. If theres no battery issues with this model like the rgb30, I may pick it up pretty soon.
I've been using this device since yesterday and in the time I've been using it, I can say the battery has been reading fine. When it's full its full and goes a percent every little bit all the way down to zero.
I like it a lot already. To be honest I’m kind of a vertical lover. All modern handhelds are made horizontal so anytime I can find a reason to get new vertical that fascinates me I’m all over it. I love the RGB30 and to have that gorgeous screen on a Vertical was a no brainer for me. I think the clear model would look great with some lime thumb caps.
Weird how people consider even a small amount of "false" diagonal input to be bad. To me it just makes games like the one you showed easier to navigate. The d pad in this looks as ideal as one could get, and for me could even be a fair amount "worse" and still be what I consider perfect.
The blue one isn't as shiny in texture as it looks on the webpage. More of a dull matte blue. Should have just went with the transparent black. Nothing serious, I still like my B20SX.
@@2LoudTech Using a new sd card. Just found out that if you have your firmware card formatted as FAT32 and your roms sd card formatted as exFAT your roms sd card will not show up. Both cards have to be formatted as FAT32.
I only tried ArkOs on the device momentarily from the build I had in my rgb30. I have have went back to testing RockNIX for the time being. I can say that my ArkOS shutdown normally.
I know that a current bug exist but it was not a bug on my device it runs from 100% to 0% like normal. I’ve been playing all day off and on in 2 hour intervals with 50% brightness and yeah it’s been keeping track of the battery like normal.
@@2LoudTech I'm sorry english is not my main language. I didn't mean scuffed in terms of being damaged, I meant it had a very ugly designed back. I wish powkiddy made better looking devices. The front is just "fine", the back is very badly designed. Stuff like the anbernic rg353v or the miyoo mini plus have better designs. However I love this huge screen in a vertical handheld, looks nice in that aspect
@@pspsmallzexactly what I pointed out on my first response to the op. It’s just something I’ve come to expect on transparent handhelds. It’s not a big deal to me.
Damn dude. In this form factor, the screen looks huge!!! Just what I was expecting.
It is. I love it :P
Like how you are displaying all variants of this PowKiddy device!
Thank you my friend ✌️
This looks absolutely epic as a GBC and Pico 8 device
I can confirm it is my friend. I feel bad for my RGB30 now 😂

Great to hear! I hope you enjoy it. I have not put it down since I opened the packaging. Even though I am supposed to be working on another review.
@@2LoudTech Is your games slot working?
@@jonathonearl482 yes absolutely it is.
@@2LoudTech Ok, I think I know what the issue was. My games slot sd card was formatted to exFAT instead of FAT32.
@jonathonearl482 is it working now?
Thanks for your take the rgb30 is my favorite device currently this new 20 looks like a go for me.
I have over 30 devices yet have not been able to put the 20sx down in 2 days.
Woah the screen looks pretty darn good.

Interesting design, love the RGB30 screen, so gotta be worth a look

No snes. WTH Powkiddy? Good to see this thing in action!
Yea I know right kind of a strange choice especially since they left 3.84 gb free on the sd card.
hype levels... rising!
As they it should be. This thing is sweet.

If the blue is the same they used on the RGB10 Max 3 then I like it.
Can you add Snes games? How would that work since there is no Snes on the games' menu? 🤔
You would just add them to the SNES or sfc folder folder, which would be inside the roms folder. Hope this helps ✌️
Having an issue with games not showing up. Games slot doesn't seem to be working properly.
ROCKNIX folder structure is a little different than JelOS. Are you using a new sd card or repurposing one?

My ARKOS on RGB20SX cannot properly shutdown it will keep restarting always! Any solutions?

I can test it again in about 2 hours
Yes please thank u very much sir!

Its just sad that the back is so scuffed and extremely ugly. Powkiddy has a very hard time designing handhelds
👀 The back is not scuffed. I mean it does have some tape residue on the inside of the battery area but nothing different than my Anbernic Rg35xx H.

The residue looks just as bad on clear anbernic devices,my clear white rg35xx just has a huge glob of glue in the back lol
