    Printer GUY - I want to thank you for your comments and understanding, I am so glad I purchased the Epson 2400 Eco Tank printer, a little confusing right now but as with anythng , it takes time to get use to new items. I just don't understand why there isn't a printer icon on th bottom along with the volume control. I will watch more of your tutorials. Thank you Printer Guy you are # 1 for me !

    If you print quite a bit but may have lapses of weeks in between printing, stay away from the tank printers. You will constantly be buying his cleaning kit because the ink dries up way too often. I’m going to a laser printer. With decent color laser jets now down under $500, it’s a no brainer for my situation. I regret buying the Eco Tank and figured I’d share my experience in case others have similar printing habits.

    U skipped two major points while considering to buy a printer.
    1. Quality of Ink (dye based, pigment based) some model of epson printer support Pigment BK , and rest color are dye CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW - Epson Ecotank L14150 model. Hybrid Ink system
    2. Number of nozzles in Print head. Canon printer support maximum no of nozzle i.e. 4352 in Maxify printer compared to Epson Ecotank L15160 with only 3200 nozzles .
    I expect you to explain more while buying Printer, that nobody talks even company too in their model Brochure.
    Also I would like you to explain Emulation features that support PDL (Printer Description language), how is it effective in printing speed process.
    PCL, Postscript , ESC/P-R Raster

    I found that most Epson printer models have different names across regions. For example, Epson EcoTank 3850 and 15000 in the US are roughly the L6270 and L14150 respectively from where I come from. It’s the same with Asia and India, as far as I know.

    I was looking for a review which talked about the proprietary nature of the ink cartridges...HP currently is requiring only HP print cartridges (which are more expensive ) and will disable the print function if you try to use it. The software has an option to turn it off but that no longer appears to work....as in my current HP printer which won't recognize anything but HP cartridges.

  • @nonameiiii
    @nonameiiii หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Do you have to use HP cartridges with the low budget inkjet printers? Can they be off brand and work? Would you choose HP over Epson brand wise? Had a eco tank epson ET-2750 and only lasted a year and a half before it stopped printing ink. Tried the cleaning and now having a main board error. So done with it.

    • @BestPrinters
      @BestPrinters  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The biggest issue with HP is they do not allow third-party Inc. for the most part. Epson and brother are the only printer brands now a days that will allow third-party Ink.

  • @Kazy_RU
    @Kazy_RU 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    The lower the price, the higher chance it will break or the liquid inks are expensive and rather small. I do have personal beef with HP, a company that makes both commercial and residential products will often put some kind of its residential technology aspect into its commercial machine which is never a good thing.

    I have an Epson and I hate it. The screen is so small you can't see anything on it. Aligning the printer and checking the ink is nuts. It's not printing color properly and I have to do steps and then wait 24 hours before I can continue and I doln't have time nor do I want to spend the time for that. With my HP it was so easy to align, and print. I'm going to go back to an HP. I see below people hate them, will each to their own. The ink cost for HP is hideous for sure but luckily I'm not working anymore so I don't use a lot of in, I print recipes, and receipts when I order products and that's about it.

So i know its prob on its last legs. I print from light to heavy card stock so this printer served me well. But now I don't know what to buy. I have an old HP 4700 Color LaserJet Printer that does everything I need. It prints letter and legal size paper from 20# to heavy card stock. It prints double sided and I use it for printing books with color photos. I am now having problems with it, as it has around 500k copies on it and I need to get another printer. What do you suggest that I can use to print books with quality color photos, as well as heavy card stock?

      The M283 is a great option. It should hold up like your older HP LaserJet pretty much all of the LaserJet printers you can use aftermarket toner on. You'll save so much by going that route.

My top features are that it can handle cardstock (not photo paper) then duplexing and I don't care after that - I don't need fax or scanner or anything else. Any advice?

      I can't even print normal sized photos bc they made the photo tray 10cm x 15cm, which is NOT 4" x 6" (it's 3.93" x 5.91"). So I either have to cut slivers off of both top and side of every photo I want to print, or jam it in there and try it a bunch of times to get it to finally be able to grab and pull it out. But even then, the print quality sucks. It's absolutely ridiculous that they actually built and still sold a product when they don't know how to convert cm to inches. It also refuses to listen if I try to change the size of something and tell it to print the photo tray. Every setting will say photo tray, but it'll print from the letter tray anyway. And this isn't even taking into account how proprietary their systems are, and how they will essentially brick your printer if you don't use their brand of ink.
      Also for OP, you could make your videos a lot more concise if you didn't have multiple intros, including telling us what's coming up in multiple sections. Just a short intro at the beginning briefly saying what you're going to cover, and then just tell the info. I had to keep skipping forward (plus all the damn ads)

    There's far more to it than this.......unfortuantely...and you talk a bit to much about what you you you do and like....but what is best for business, and what is best for the individual...scan speeds, and amounts that can be loaded aren't elaborated on enough, and getting into specifics about it....what's best for small business or people in the world dealing with large amounts of scanning with a printer scanner color copier combo....ther eis so much to it...Epson usually does good....double sided printing AND scanning is important to and the speeds it works at for mass prints and scans....there is lots to this and I don't feel you were quck enough at addressing it all truly and informing the public of all options as there are many and many are better than others.....for doing everything as well.....of course getting into just scanners and just printers matters...Laser Jet and Lazer Printers.and lazer jet printers......it all matters.....and why it matters is costs for ink and toner cartridges and costs associated with them....and you didn't get into that at all.......i'm dissapointed with wasting my time with this video...if you post....get concise...is my advice.
