feel like rogue waved didnt need to use such good material they should of assessed that before using them songs that could of easily landed them a final win
According to HIRO, who suggested that they freestyle, they dared to freestyle the beginning of the song because, like jazz freestyle, there is an explosiveness and goodness that only freestyle can bring out. I love Rofu style.
i knew going into gbb this year that River and Rogue Wave would clean house in their respective categories. Nothing particularly close in my opinion. Fortunately/Unfortunately both are in a different league, just a different level really.
I think RW slightly won because of consistency and pure technicality, they're so balanced, clearly Rofu doesn't excel in those and are pretty random but this is by far the best battle round they had, the power is crazy and though their sounds are not so complex they always make it powerful and the Sachiko pattern is crazy too, and their R1 freestyle doesn't even sound like freestyle
Closer than expected...people always talk about rofu show but they don't realize that rofu beatboxing also actually pretty good and clean

Personally I felt that Rouge Wave's rounds were quite random... I think rofu should have had it ( non beatboxer )
