Been using this tool for nearly 2 years. Solid product and very convenient for normal duty activiities around wood and at home. I have even used it to drill concrete walls for 6- 8mm concrete drill bits and it works well on brick walls with plaster. Also used to drill into aluminium and 3-5 mm soft steel box sections. I have the companion impact driver using the same 12v system which is great for faster screw driving applications without pre drilling. The best part of these tools they are smaller and more ergonomic to hold in your hands and I almost always reach across to them for quick work. I love these tools for fast adhoc drilling and screw driving work I have Stanley 18v system tools in my workshop and they are great for more heavy duty applications. But they are heavier and less ergonomic to use. Just bought the professional 185 LI GSB variant for continous duty work in wood in my workshop. Typically I am planning to use it to create peg boards and dowel system worktops for wood work. I use 3/4 " forstners bits and larger applications along with imported Rockler USA drill stands for this application. Will see how well they serve me till I get vertical drilling unit.
How to check the battery status? My previous GSR which is spoiled after serving for long had 3 battery status indicator s which are no more on this tool .
@BoschProfessionalIndia Sir, you can answer it here and others can also be benefitted. Bosch trimmed that 3 led feature. But don't know how this new tool shows that battery status. Haven't used it yet.
