Now that’s a crew cab! I have no idea how many hours I spend in a Travelall when I was working for the MD State Roads Commission back in the ‘60s and then in our own 1974 Travelall named “Tank” on family vacations towing a travel trailer all over the Rockies. Those things are reliable as sunrise. Thanks for a great channel!

Would love to own one of them. Anything that age around where I live is a pile of rust with tire's in it. I live in North Carolina. Love the channel keep up the saving of the old internationals

Great channel with some common International ground. A suggestion for non International project, 1963 GMC CarryAll with the 305E V6, four speed, factory 4x4, Mine was a stump puller that would cruise at 60 or so and was a tractor going up whatever. Looking forward to more adventures. Onward!

Those crew cabs were real popular with air force icbm silo crews back in the day. I am surprised you don’t have more blue/green ones there.

Back in 1972 I bought my 1210 pickup, sitting next to it on the dealers lot was an identical one to this one of yours. I was not interested at that time, but just for conversation, I asked, "how much"? He said, he was probably going to wholesale it out, because he had it for a half of a year, and nobody was interested in such a whale. Most people thought it was too long, IH was selling an identical crew cab with a short bed, and they sold a lot of them. Interesting I thought. Don't know what happened to that one, but it was the same paint, and trim as this. Buy the way it was in Mesa Arizona, wonder if it is the same one. The next year, GM was selling a long bed crew cab, identical wheelbase and sold a bunch. Interesting, hmmmm, good marketing, or just prejudges against IH?

Actually now that you mention it, it would make a great LS swap truck because of power and fuel mileage. I see nothing wrong with their own engines but chevy did get the LS engine series absolutely right. Its a long time dependable engine and most of the rigs in the nineties started making a better automatic transmission. Now that I think about swaps, check out halfass kustoms... Brent built a crew cab out of two of those "S" model cabs and made a rig he calls the General. He is a down to earth real builder out of scrap to nice rigs on the cheap.. If your not already subscribed to him then I feel like you might really enjoy his type of easy on the ear builds as its family friendly
