I took the family to see Double Tap and we had a blast. Popcorn, Coke, and Zombies slow-mo blood splatters made my Sunday. You're right, it's a fun movie and I think everyone will enjoy it.

The opening scene when for whom the bell tolls plays, and Bill Murray are by far the best things about first one and other then that its ok. I'll check this one out at some point
Great review Lee! I still want to see Zombieland Double Tap but I am also cautious about it. It’s always tricky with sequels that arrive a decade later. Especially with comedy sequels.
Great review Lee this didn't quite have charm of the original but it was a easy watch & as sequels go they at least made some effort with character progression.
Decent zombie carnage & funny in parts, overall a decent follow up.
Another great drumdums review. My dad loves zombie land. I'm not the biggest fan but I still have a good time with it and plan on watching the new one with my pops. 🖤🎃
Lee I just watched the first one about a month ago with my son!! We are excited to see the sequel!! I am not normally a zombie film fan!! But I liked the comedy of the whole film!!

I’ve always been hoping for another Zombieland & I don’t even care that it’s ten years later. I think it was a great sequel & just as funny as the first. & his terminator names for the zombies made me love it even more 😂

Still WAY TOO MUCH in the trailers though, so much that would've been better watching the first time in the movie.
I honestly do like Zombieland Double Tap it's pretty good but I honestly love the first film since I felt like Zombieland was just one film.
It definitely has its flaws but I laughed consistently and Madison stole the show in my opinion. Great review though as always dude.

I liked this film. I have two things I didn't like. One they should've used more hard rock songs. The opening scene was the only time they played a hard rock song. And two they should've focused more on the T-800 zombies which were pretty cool.I loved Zoey Deutsch! I felt she stole every scene she was in. I saw in a interview that the reason they waited so long to make another Zombieland is because they wanted to do it right. They went through a dozen of scripts before they found one they liked. Also the end credit scene is genius! Great review.
Nice review, Lee! I really loved the first film, but this sequel might have come just a little too late for me. I still enjoyed it and it had its moments, but it didn't hit me the same way the original did.
Haven't seen Zombieland: Double Tap, but I'm looking forward on seeing the movie, question will you be reviewing Doctor Sleep when it comes out in theaters?
Love the first one, can't wait 4 this one. I am a BIG zombies fan. Lee have u seen Dead Set? about 5 mini episodes, to sum it up, Big Brother and Zombies crossover (here in the UK tho)

I thought it was great. Not as awesome as the first one, but it's a very good sequel. Better than I expected, honestly. Much better than almost any comedy sequel that's many years too late.
Just watched Zombieland 2 yesterday and while it has it's flaws *cough* Madison *cough* I still had a good time, it'll get a rewatch out of me.
Yeah there was some fun to be had for sure Deek.

honestly..i was asking for a new Zomebieland for the last 10 years :) I think its well done and continues the story and characters. Zombieland is just a good classic franchise now..I also want another Shaun of the Dead,Nacho Lebre,and Napoleon Dynamite before I die..

We need From Dusk Till Shaun dammit. I love Zombieland, but I'm having trouble motivating myself to see this in the theater.
I thought this movie was hilarious! @DrumDums I think this movie, was funny and I loved the scene when Tallahassee said the line “Zombies eat brains and she has none.” Something along those lines and that was absolutely hilarious!
Oh that scene was hilarious! Woody definitely had some standout moments.
i saw it was called .."double tap" , cringed a bit .. and went no thank you.
I saw it today and got what I expected, an amusing romp with gore and jokes but not as much substance as the first movie.
Shame how the Ninja zombie was mentioned but not really explored, that could have led to something more interesting if used. But for all the undead featured, they still felt a bit lacking and the dialogue at times felt repetitive.
I guess overall it's watchable but not something I'd immediately recommend. The stuff after the credits was worth it though.

Yeah, it is almost all the things you say in your review but i think that's not a negative aspect at all. In my opinion it's just a spoof movie so i don't mind the mentioning of Terminator for example. I think It's an easy, lighthearted movie that was entertaining and did nothing much different than part one. Saw it with 0 expectations and was entertained. Am fine with it.
I haven’t seen the movie but I feel like this is a movie that didn’t need a sequel. The trailer had NOTHING in it that made me want to see. The first zombieland was good enough as a stand alone film.
The trailer was very lackluster.
Ten years too late. They should've released this like two or three years later after the first, I still enjoyed the sequel. Rosario dawson and luke wilson were nice added touches to the cast but I've been worn out of the zombie genre since world war z. Hollywood needs to let it die already.

The Dead don't die wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. I actually think I might like it better than Zombieland: Double Tap if I go see it, and there's definitely some zombie movies that have no rewatchability.
I might have been a bit too harsh with that statement. It suffered from tonal confusion. Not funny enough and not serious enough.

Completely agree with you on the movie The Dead Don’t Die I was so disappointed when I saw it, it was trash. As for Zombieland it was ok agreed it’s about five years too late.

David Cottone Oh man for me she stole the show and made the biggest belly laughs. She was annoying but it was supposed to be that way. It’s making fun of that stereotype.
I liked the movie, it did feel like a sequel where the entertainment value went down, but it still had some solid laughs, some of the directions it went was weird and dull like having a peaceful anti-guns community was just really dumb in a zombie movie
I loved this movie @SinisterCinemaReviews I thought Zoey Deutch was hilarious. I didn’t think she overstayed her welcome at least to me, I can see why she annoyed you. I was the opposite personally, I thought the first few lines that I thought “Oh, Crap this lady is going to be annoying.” Anyways, this movie was so much fun I thought this movie was just as funny to me.
She had moments, but overall she overstayed her welcome for me.

I'm very over zombies. Walking dead has gone on for way too long and this movie came way too late.
Just my personal opinion though. Hope people find enjoyment with this.
I really did enjoy this movie and I love Emma Stone she did a great job and she sure is so beautiful and gorgeous too and I’m a fan of her and also I love Rosario Dawson in this movie she did a great job and she sure is so sexy as hell and gorgeous too and I’m a huge fan of her and Jesse Eisenberg did a great job too like he did in the original Zombieland 2009 movie and same goes for Woody Harrison did a great job too and he was hilarious in this movie and overall I’m gonna give Zombieland 2 Double Tap 2019 a 10/10 I really did enjoy this movie and it’s way better than the first movie and i hope we don’t have to wait for 8 more years for a third installment of Zombieland that still a long ways from now like the first movie was back in 2009 and the second one was 2019 and if they make this to a trilogy than mostly likey it will come out in 2029 but I guess we shall see when that day comes for us
