I watched you close and it looked easy from your viewpoint, but nope, I still can't! I did try Christina! I did. Tysmfs! It wod be beautiful on a tree! Your home is gorgeous! Love you sweet friend. I love the look of the tassel banner!! It's so unusual! I have a very long mantle piece to decorate in a rather large room so I'll have to play around to find the right size for the tassels. I'm such a beginner and I don't know how to crochet BUT I feel confident that I can make the tassels so, as we say here in France "To a brave heart nothing is impossible!" I'll try braiding instead of crocheting the banner part n then try spearing the tassels one by one with a huge n heavy needle I inherited from my mother-in-law. I'll then play around and see what I can do to attach the tassels to the banner part. Having the thread come out the back discretely opens up possibilities. I'll watch the video a few more times and if I get stuck I'll ask for help at the local sewing club here in the countryside near Paris. This'll surely be time consuming but fun. Thanks so much for this idea. It would also make such a nice gift!
