    Thank you very much for this tutorial. I made my first big garland yesterday and I had a heckuva time with that darn tassel and how to keep the nuts from being blatantly obvious. I had followed the instructions in another tutorial where they did it differently and I can see where your way will make it much easier to get everything nice, tight, neat and professional looking. I can’t wait to go make my second Pete Garlin now. Thank you again.

      Was wondering what size wood beads are most used for the bead garlands? I'm interested in making them for tiered trays?

    • @LifeofStyleBlog
      @LifeofStyleBlog  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not too sure what is considered a standard size but I always use 20mm wood beads for my garlands. I buy them from Amazon in a large pack, that seems to be the most affordable. These are the ones I always use amzn.to/3voXzd0 If you are interested I have a whole playlist with all of my wood bead garland videos including an updated version to this video. In that playlist there is also a video on how I like to paint my beads with a very quick and easy method. @@LifeofStyleBlog of course! Have you used cotton rope? I’ve been looking into using that and twine just to mix it up but it seems like the rope may be too big for certain beads

      @LifeofStyleBlog  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not tried it to string the beads yet, I have used cotton rope to make tassels from time to time though. It’s fun to experiment with different ropes and textures to switch up the look 😊

    Wonderful tutorial. Would be helpful to know lengths of twine to cut before starting garland. My ends were a bit short to double knot them.

    Thank you so much A) for this video and B) listing the supplies.. the twine I used wasn’t very good and I paid 5.00 for 27 beads lol. Going to try your products next time.
