So for us 36 au$ is not such a little price, so we don't consider Hennessy cognac as the cheap one. Our Dagestani cognacs cost ~ 12 au$

Obviously idk where you live but I think Australia has some meme tax on alcohol. For example that cheap tequila they showed is like 12€ (about 19 AUD) here in Germany while they put it as 36 AUD or whatever.

I believe rum is filtered through charcoal to give it a dark color I used to clean tankers and once in awhile they used to get the last bit of rum in a trailer and I had fine bits of charcoal in it and it tasted amazing
