Beautiful job you did here...This is EXACTLY how I teach my 7th grade AAU players to play. Value the close shots, move quickly in transition, fill lines, look for outlet pass immediately off the rebound, force defense to adjust to collapsing after getting points in paint, then kick it out to a rhythm 3. Subscribed! Well done.
I appreciate the love and support, Coach! Hope this can be a resource that you can show your team to further ingrain your philosophy to them, and get them to believe that it works! Keep up the good work.
Decide what level you want to be at & apply everywhere you’d be comfortable moving, and in the meantime - try to volunteer somewhere local to get experience.
5:21 do you have a video about off ball steals like this? How did number 0 know when to back away from the person he's supposed to defend and go for the ball? I see guys like kawhi leonard do this and I'm like "how are they so aware of what's going on???" I just wonder if there are signs to look for. Thanks! You're killing it w/ these videos!
Thanks Dan! Yes, there is a reason guys have the anticipation to jump passes like that. Best way to explain it would be to go and watch the video I did breaking down Houston’s Defense. Go to the section on ballscreen defense, and you should get your answer. If it’s still unclear after that, let me know.

Love the Video, maybe the next topic is Breakdown Best Defensee Transition Team in the Country😋
I'm actually not sure how to find out who that is. KenPom doesn't have it, and neither does the NCAA stats. Any guesses?
You said 35% for 3-pointers and that’s what killed everything. They don’t value the deep corner 3-point shot enough for 2024 basketball
