Love your work. My name is David l live in Brisbane I have also purchased the HMS Endeavour and i am building it now and noting any advice you give on the build. Many thanks for the videos.
I am enjoying your videos. the small pins with the large yellow heads that you work with, where did you get them, I haven't been able to find the same ones anywhere?
You normally trim the half of the width of the wood strip. If you see that you have "big steps" when you apply the strip on the bow, then you need to trim more. You must always have the strip to end at the bow higher than it is on the middle of the hull.
John, the stern of the Artesania model is incorrect for the original Endeavour. T]Be aware that the kit actually models the replica and not the original.
Nice start on the planking, John!
It was kind of difficult. Thank you very much Michael!!!
Wolf must find that supervising your build is very exhausting :)
I guess without him not a single ship would be finished. In ther videos not shown he wakes up John :-)
He is sick that's why he looks tired.
Ralf it would be very hard for me not to have Wolf managing everything.
@@JohnsWoodenShips hope he feels better soon
Get well soon, Wolf!🙏
Let's hope so!
I hope Wolf feels better soon, he has much work still to do.
I do hope so :)

Thank you very much Jim!!! I got them many years ago from Amazon. Try a google search with this : Graupner-717-Stoßnadeln
What size black cord do you use for the plank installation between the planks. Thank you.
You must referring to Victory and not to Endeavour, 0,15mm.
@JohnsWoodenShips Sorry...yes the Victory. Thank you much.
19:00 is this machine working and making hot the sticks or just in there to make curve.
This is a soldering iron and i use it just to bend the strips.
Newbie here, how do you know how much to trim?

You are probably right Peter. I do not believe that the original had white paint on the lower part of the hull.
