Aloha!! I sailed on this ship as volunteer crew. Climbing to the top gallant while under way the first time was something else!!😂By my fourth voyage i had completely lost my fear of hights. Captian Blake & the permanent crew were awesome. I really learned a lot.

Hoy Dingo Dad, good one. I'm a model ship builder for a restaurant/museum, I'm building a model of the Endeavour right now. I'm looking for as much detail as I can find. I'm studying every inch. I did not know lines were belayed on the anchor windlass in this manner. Thank you for showing me that. Where and what colors are used are very important to model makers. When I visit ships I bring a five foot long stick with me, painted black and white every other foot so I can get a size reference, I'm not asking you to do that, that's just me. The double purchase blocks/pulleys at the foot of the masts are nice to know.
Thank you again Dingo Dad. Wonderful research for us that make a living at building models of these.

The Endeavour should never have been GIVEN to NSW. It was constructed here in Fremantle and Western Australians gave so much financial help in its construction. But then again, most of what we produce goes to the other states anyway, it is to be expected.
