@@michaelmelendez4419right now I still like Crown Zenith for under $6 per pack, Shiny Treasure is hard to beat for under $30 per booster box. I also like VStar Universe and 151 Jp for under $80. I go to Calipokehouse and TexasPokeTCG on TikTok, OR online at Smoke & Mirror Hobbies and SafariZone. Or PokeNE. Thanks for watching Hope this helps
I agree about the Blisters. I pulled nothing from tins with 1 Evo Skies, pulled nothing from the 1 booster box i opened, nothing from over 100+ packs from Divergent Powers tins.. Opened like 300 minimum Evo Skies from non-sleeved packs and got 1 Duraludon VMAX alt art, leafeon v alt art and NOTHING else. Then I got 225-ish sleeved Evo Skies packs. I opened about 70, I have 155 left. And in those 70 packs I pulled Sylveon VMAX Alt Art within my first 10 packs. I was going to sell the remaining 215 packs, but I opened some more.. I pulled an Aroma Lady and a Trevenant Rainbow Rare after 60 packs.. Then I was really regretting not selling them after the Sylveon VMAX alt.. Was about to quit, decided to set 10 more aside and call it after that.. Sell the rest. On my literal 10th pack: Glaceon VMAX alt art! So after 70 packs, 2 packs less than 2 booster boxes got me 2 of the best VMAX alt arts, with a rainbow rare and one of the best trainers just to top them off. And that's not including the 6-8 VMAX and 10 V cards I pulled on top of all that. Looking at it from a marketing point of view, if I were selling Pokemon cards and trying to maximize profits, and I was selling booster boxes, ETBs, smaller 3 set and similar packages and finally sealed singles: I would absolutely increase the pull rate for the singles and leave the lowest pull rates to the 36-pack packages. For singles, these are the packs that kids open with their friends, at Pokemon day at the library, at League days, at school, etc, etc.. And if they keep hitting NOTHING and see all their friends hitting nothing, their interest will try up fast and they will look for something with more immediate gratification like Battle Royale video games where their skill can play far more of a factor than Random chance like packs, skateboarding/biking or anything where they improve and every new trick is like a new high from the adrenaline and dopamine I remember feeling after hitting a new trick... So there is a every incentive for the Pokemon TCG company to boost the pull rates of singles more than any other, the cheapest one with the highest pulls would function like crack, straight up. One small pack per use, for a momentary rush, and the huge rush of hitting big or even seeing a friend hitting big makes my daughters friends go crazy like it was them who landed that hit. PTCG company knows that the packs kids will open in a community setting, as opposed to alone or with family at home, are the sleeved singles, 3 packs, and checklane blisters. I have seen it all the time with my daughter at Library Pokemon Day. Those are the products parents buy their kids and just give them to do with what they please. But even with ETBs, parents are more hesitant to let them bring them to school or Pokemon get togethers because they spent a decent amount on them and kids are simply not very good at being responsible with expensive belongings at that age. And booster boxes almost 100% never get opened at league, pokemon day events, school, etc, because they are a legitimate investment due to their high cost even amongst sets only 1-3 years old like Evo Skies reaching over $800 at its peak within less than 3 years of release. And without the benefit of having BBs opened in larger group settings, other kids won't see the pulls until way later when they have been pulled and put into a binder or hard case or even graded. And the impact of seeing a friend show up with a new card they got from a BB without you does not inspire kids to want to buy BBs. The impact of seeing a friend at league play, at a comic store, at a toy store, or somewhere similar, and watching them open a small handful of approximately 1 to 5 packs and pulling something insane means that all the kids see that happen in real time and see the incredible card their friend got, likely feeling a mix of surprise, excitement, happiness, disbelief and envy/jealousy that makes kids want to be the next one to pull something amazing. The shared experience and vicarious experience of pulling something amazing through their friend then goes on to influence every kid present who experienced that card being pulled now wants to try their luck at pulling something, impulsively asking their parents and likely receiving somewhere between 1 to 10 packs themselves to repeat the cycle. And for Pokemon it creates a wildly beneficial feedback loop amongst groups of kids. And it not only the desire to pull a beautiful card to call their own alongside all their friends, but the psychological aspects of seeing all the kids rally around their one friend has the impact of making the other kids buying a few packs with allowance or asking their parents to buy them a few packs, too. They want the cool card that was pulled, but 50% of it is their desire experience the same enormously positive WAVE of attention from friends, they want to be the center of attention and have the lime light if even for a moment when they pull a highly rare, highly desirable card. As a kid, you want to experience the euphoria of pulling a chase card in front of all your friends and having all of your friends look on in awe and amazement, followed by sky rocketed excitement and joyful screams, creating a happy memory with your friends to remember forever, shine the limelight on you, being the center of attention, feeling like a rock star as your audience of friends yell, clap, pat you on the back, dap up, and cheer, being congratulated by all of your friends, and even once the initial excitement returns to normal you have all your friends asking to trade and talking amongst themselves about how you pulled that wild chase card. So while half the desire is fueled by longing to pull an awesome chase card for your collection like your friend did, the other remaining half of the desire to buy a pack(s) is a social desire to have your friends rally around you with praise and excitement is also an enormous influence on these kids to buy more packs, pull a chase card and experience the social reward of being celebrated and rallied around by all your friends yourself! Those VMAX alt arts have a pull rate that averages at 1 in every are at an average pull of approximately1 in 365 packs that I have no idea why I chose to pursue opening even a single one, having the past experiences with Evolving Skies packs that I did. Especially considering those odds are even worse when you remove the unwanted alt arts from the equation; both Duraludon v and vmax, medicham, Golurk or the Noibat (which depends on taste, because I personally love it and it reminds me of the Gargoyles from Dark Souls 1.. I do enjoy the Golurk as Johnny Appleseed as well), and probably at least 1 other I am forgetting about. And considering my terrible luck of having pulled Duraludon as my only VMAX alt in 300-500 total packs opened, pulling 2 Duraludon VMAX Rainbow Rares, pulling 2 gold inteleon, pulling 1 secret rare metal energy, pulling a damn whey protein "Boost Shake" 1 time as well, and having pulled nothing but garbage when it came down to the highest rarities and having pulled the most worthless, unappealing cards in their rarity categories, but man am I SO GLAD I said 'whatever, lets open some anyway and see what happens'. And to this day I wonder what lies in the remaining 140 packs I have left. Especially with alt arts being roughly 1 in 82 packs, I statistically had a good chance of getting at least 2 more alt art regular cards, if not 3+ alt arts even including ANOTHER Vmax alt art. The statistics on these sleeved singles has just borderline miraculous for me.
Glad to see TH-cam putting more Pokémon card content on my page! I just recently got into Pokémon cards again and I have been researching all of the recent sets and products available, I’ll be on the lookout for blisters!

Just want to say booster boxes are by far the most liquid sealed pokemon product to sell. Selling 1 team up box say will take one month you would need to sell 40 sleeved boosters at 60$ to sell the same dollar amount. It will take significantly longer to sell 40 sleeved booster plus all the extra shipping... If your investing in pokemon you want to ideally buy sealed booster box cases (normally have a 5% premium on them). If you cant afford that then booster boxes is the way to go. If your collecting or ripping packs buy the items that get you the cheapest pack price and collect whatever you enjoy. Simple as that(:
Also for investing sealed modern booster box cases are KING for everything S&S and newer. Especially taking into count storage and shipping. Older set era's didn't print many ETB's that's why they have performed so well but now they print them into the ground. PC ETB's will be a good play since there's a limited amount.
Yes I agree. However for collectors I think we get more “value” out of the smaller products. But I totally understand what you’re saying. We appreciate you watching!
Always depends on entry price point. I purchased ES booster box at $99 after the first reprint. That’s a 7x return. Sleeved blisters and 3 packs usually don’t go on sale or are not discounted as much as booster boxes. Current return for sleeved is 6X and 3 packs are like 5x (Umbreon promo) for ES from msrp. CR and FS booster boxes were $80 for a long time. I have almost have 200 sleeved booster backs of ES I got in at $3.99 as well. I wonder if your sleeved boosters were the broken batch that had extra alternate arts. If they were maybe you should have ripped them all . Plenty of TH-cam videos showing big hits from sleeved broken packs. I picked up like 12 broken ES blisters and pulled 2 alt arts the sylveon V and vmax. I do really like the idea of holding booster boxes and ripping the smaller products because I do feel the hits are more random
