Dillon you deserve all the success you’re having, you’re entertaining and educating a lot of people, including myself, these last couple of years. I’m moving to the US next month and at some point will make the pilgrimage to your store, can’t wait.
Per usual some UNREAL finds this year Dillon. I feel like one of these days you’re going to start showing off some Zeppelin records from Jimmy Pages personal collection 😉 so great to finally meet you at your shop back in October. Was great chatting with Pete and coming away with a mindblowingly rare Rikki Ililonga “Dread Eyes” first pressing. Appreciate all you do for vinyl community and listeners everywhere.
Hi, Dillon. I was on a road trip and had the pleasure of visiting your record store last Sunday! I loved the layout and the selection. I bought everything from The Dead Boys to The Grateful Dead. Speaking of which, Ashley was so much help and it turns out we were at a couple of the same Dead shows back in the day. Your videos were the 1st Vinyl Community videos I ever saw. The algorithm led me to you and now I make videos of my own from time to time. Take care!
in a world where everyone overhypes their videos in the titles, you've somehow done the opposite - i was not prepared for this many grails back to back. unbelievable stuff man, congratulations.
Nirvana In Utero limited edition on clear was the first record I ever bought in '93, freshman year of high school. I didn't even have a turntable yet but I loved Nirvana, it said limited edition and crazy to think about now but it was cheaper then the CD. The second record I bought was AIC Sap/Jar of Flies. Still have them almost 30 years later.
Always enjoy the personal collection content! I recently found a beautiful Knights 5+1 in a dig, for some reason it popped out to me from watching your videos. Couldn’t put my finger on it at the time but glad I went with my gut. Thanks for the great videos and time you put into this!
D.R. Hooker - One of my keep till i croak records - i see a few in this bunch we did together-glad i could help you get a few you wanted - happy holidays to you and your family
I have several Chicago albums that I won from a radio show contest back in the late 70's ! They all say Demonstration NOT FOR SALE ! There are 6 of them !
Great music taste Brother. An amazing and beautiful Record Collection. Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures. From Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 🌎♥️♥️🔊🎶🎶🎶🔊🔊🎶🎶🎶💯💯💯💯💯🎉
Got to see WITCH this past October, felt very lucky that I heard of them shortly before they toured and got to enjoy a once in a lifetime show! Hope they are up for touring again!
My local shop has the Misfits OG I keep looking at but have not wanted to drop the dollars on. Maybe someday…. I know he would give me a great deal on it. Always enjoy the funk and Zamrock.
Believe I was there when you cracked the seal on that Strata LP in the shop. Thanks again for hiring boots on the ground in Zambia. Carlson and I will only eat beans in retirement.
17:00 Damn, that is a killer album. They were highly underappreciated by the masses. I saw them 2x 1993-1994. They have a heavy cover of Atlanta Rhythm Section's "Imaginary Lover" as a b-side on the Sleeping Bag single from '93.
I don't care (well not really) what you show here or in future videos, for me you can never top the Zeppelin box..🏆 bravo man.. Edit: OH yeah, and The Can🔥 amazing stuff this year
Great video as always. Saw smashing pumpkins on their debut tour. I want the gish album there was about 300 people there it was awesome opening band. What is that straighten device that you use?
You should try to score yourself a US promo copy of Facelift. I passed on one a couple years back around $500, wish I would have bought it. I'm fine with my UK promo though.
Dillon I totally forgot about the live on whatnot on Tuesday 😭. Did you get my message about possibly selling your kelly finnigan promo copy? I would really love to know if you would and if so how much? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Keep up bringing music to the world.
Im curious. What Zamrock album do you not have ? Ibeen collecting records since I was a little kid so about 1982 and knew what Zamrock was but only knew Witch, Salty Dog & Paul/ Gnozi Family until I just watched your video, then watched some Documentary's. Now I wanna collect some. I probably will have to do Reissues since they are so expensive and hard to find but that's okay.
Speaking of grunge, I have Jacob’s Mouse, a rare UK grunge band that opened for Nirvana on their UK leg of their first world tour, it’s not worth a lot but I like it! Also do you have any TAD? I have 8 way Santa with the album cover that got them heavily sued, it’s hilarious! Look it up
Best finds: Aldo Nova self titled and Subject albums....Frank Marino Juggernaut and What's next.....Rick James Glow and Cold Blooded....Brothers Johnson Blam......Boston self titled and Third Stage.....you should open your mind and find something more musically valuable than the usual nirvana crap.
If I'm ever at a loss at what music to check out next, this is the place. Sure wish I could look at that copy of Dorothy's Harp, would love to know who played drums. Anybody?
Love the Masters Apprentices - of course I’m a biased Aussie. Dylan - would you say there is a massive amount of interest in 70’s/80’s music in the 20-40 yo age bracket? If so, why do think this is the case ?
For me a holy grail record is Alice In Chains- jar of flies and two weeks ago I randomly found it in a really good form and it has sap with it it’s a double lip form 94 with the name Alice In Chains etched in the back of the last disk for $150 I bit the bullet and bought it it’s easily the best thing I got and don’t regret I out that on instantly when I got home and I was happy
I find some Caribbean music but nothing from Africa. I’m planning on a trip your way between now and July. Hopefully will buy Something from you one day
man I've been looking for an original copy of bleach but the only one I can find is a reprint that apparently sounds very flat and just bad. I have In Utero from the same company and the same year and I can confirm that one sounds terrible
Says "I was digging through Chicago...nothing good" while talking about Dinosaur Jr. which is objectively one of the worst bands to ever exist. Lol Aside from that, some great finds!
You are trying to turn us on to new music. Cannot follow you because you go so fast and you don't pull the records out far enough to see the band, artist or title. I am from Detroit and I have an eclectic taste in music. One group I like is from Senegal and their music has a Cuban Senegalese sound. You probably have heard of them because they been around for decades they are called Orchestra Baobab. I hope I can find the names and titles you shown on allmusic. Peace out!
Dillon you deserve all the success you’re having, you’re entertaining and educating a lot of people, including myself, these last couple of years. I’m moving to the US next month and at some point will make the pilgrimage to your store, can’t wait.

Thanks so much! I don’t have any from jimmy’s personal collection… yet 🤣
Amazing - I lived in Zambia as a kid from '77 to '82 when ZamRock was in full swing - I had no idea this was going on. Love it!
Your Zamrock Box is insaaaannnneeeeee!!!!
Aw when you was talking about Spike Lee's family you almost cried..Love it! You have an amazing heart and love for vinyl!

Really happy for you and yours dude. Hard work pays off.

Hey thanks so much!!! Tell your friends 🤣

That Lazy Bones is sweet!
That is an amazing batch of records, Dillon. Never seen this many zamrock albums. Crazy! Happy holidays, and may 2023 be just as good :) Cheers. /Paul
It's always a pleasure watching your videos😀👍 nice work
Thanks man!
Thank You Dillon....looking forward to more from you next year....
I appreciate you and your videos.
You have helped educate me to be a better collector.
I hope you and your family have a great Christmas 👍

Fun to see these records. Really amazing story about Spike Lee's family. Glad you shared this.

I've never clicked so fast in my life
That copy of Soul Station makes me feel warm and squishy inside. An absolute dream of mine to own. Congrats on such an amazing find!
Great video, also my wife was interested in this one ! 😀
You are so right about PAW/Dragline. Shocked that you don’t have NeverMind. An incredible stack of vinyl that would be hard to top by anyone.
KMET the mighty MET! My favorite radio station growing up … Great find!
I have several Chicago albums that I won from a radio show contest back in the late 70's ! They all say Demonstration NOT FOR SALE ! There are 6 of them !

That Paw record so good. I got to see them twice touring to support that record, once opening for the Breeders. Good stuff!
Great jazz finds!
Dayummm that Lost Dogs. That’s a PJ and grunge grail for sure. Very nice.
Thanks!!!

Really good video Dylan to wash it straight through
I'm still happy about the Led Zeppelin road case, that is the best thing since sliced bread!
Super jealous of that grunge collection! I only have the boot of apple, but I did find a promo copy of shine
holy shit that zamrock collection is so insane
Thanks for all of your hard work to bring us rarities. Stoked to have picked up a copy of Lukombo Vibes from you.
Such a great year for you brother. Was enjoying the grunge phase videos you did. Glad to see the Lost Dogs album. What a wicked collection.
Believe I was there when you cracked the seal on that Strata LP in the shop. Thanks again for hiring boots on the ground in Zambia. Carlson and I will only eat beans in retirement.
Haha I have more if y’all need more 🤣

Nice scores Dillon. "Billy Higgins...a proficient drummer"...haha that is great.
I meant prolific, but I guess it still works 🤣
Zam rock rules. Try to promote it in the shop more people need to discover. I would love to have a copy of My Ancestors in that condition.
Fat stack my friend. It’s been a good year for the collection.
Great video as always. Saw smashing pumpkins on their debut tour. I want the gish album there was about 300 people there it was awesome opening band. What is that straighten device that you use?
I really need to step up and buy a copy of that Mother Love Bone.
They pressed some Zamrock albums in Kenya
Some great records there. I found more rare/keeper CDs than vinyl this year, lol.
I just paused and checked out WITCH...Woah! I have a new genre to get obsessed over
Man, just to shop at your store would be worth the trip from Michigan to North Carolina. Some of your scores are just unreal.
You should try to score yourself a US promo copy of Facelift. I passed on one a couple years back around $500, wish I would have bought it. I'm fine with my UK promo though.

Things I learned from this video: Dillon doesn't know what Grunge is
I showed some that’s grunge and some that’s just 90s rock. Calm down 🤣
@@noblerecords I know, I was just messing with you.
Galaxy 500… ? … you need Galaxy 500 in your life….
I do! It’s in my wantlist
