Moza r5 Bundle | ES 12" Wheel Mod Unboxing

- My first unboxing video and in this one we take a look at the Moza r5 bundle with some extra accessories like Brake Kit and the Accessory kit for the SR-P pedals. We also unpack and take a look at the ES 12" wheel mod for a bit more authentic rally or drifting feel.
I stream on twitch link further down in description so you will see me use this wheel there in upcoming streams. Don't expect any professional driving yet but eventually we might get there, just a lot of practice and patience.

I'm very happy with mine, got the handbrake and sequential shifter also. All moza so far and very pleased with everything, enough power for me in r5 as well.
Sounds great man, how does the handbrake feel? I am thinking of getting it whenever i get more into drifting@@messiahshow
@@echoesliveontwitch I like it a lot and I use it with the standard spring it comes installed with. There is one heavier included. I really like it like this since I have everything mounted on a desk. I will post soon a review/unboxing of all of that and the mount.
Cool unboxing video, man! It would be interesting to know if there is any difference between the D-shaped steering wheel and 12" wheel mod you bought for rallying. Write about it after you test it, this will be very useful.
Thank you man and yeah I will test them tomorrow, was short on time after recording and it was getting late so I will start earlier tomorrow and most likely be on twitch streaming it. But like I said in the video, the quality is insane on the stock bundle wheel, they are identical to me, same material, same stitching and same feel to the touch which was surprising but at the same time the way it should be, it's nice to not always get ripped off by things having lower quality because it is a bundle item. The only issue if any is if the flat part becomes an issue when you do hairpins or more sharper turns and you need to rotate the wheel past 180 so it feels harder to grip. It is one hell of a bundle though, so far impressed with the quality of everything from the clicky nice metal paddels and the pedals felt stiffer than I expected which was a nice surprise and might even be enough to play on without the brake kit until I get a rig for it.

All I can say is get it, wonderful both with the D shaped wheel and the 12". I did not notice the D shape since rally games have a quite short degree rotation, it felt like a round wheel the entire time I played. Another thing that is a bit harder is reaching the buttons so without a dedicated handbrake and pushing a button on the wheel the smaller wheel is slightly at an advantage.
Force feedback at only 30% and torque output at 85% was enough for me, it is very strong wheel you will be blown away. Us coming from controller this was the most fun I had in gaming in a long time and I feel it will last. Everyone always talk about more nm, 9, 12, 16 but my desk was shaking so much that It would have started destroying stuff if I didn't lowered the FFB.
It is definitely not built for being on a desk with max torque and FFB. Better of getting a rig straight away then which I might speed up, maybe even before handbrake because I don't like how much it shake everything.
Nothing to complain about, incredible hardware, silent wheel and pedals very smooth, nice clicky paddel shifters. Only thumbs up from me.

Interesting. Noise is also a major concern for me. But since I'm recording sound, I have two layers of carpet on the floor, I hope this neutralizes the noise from vibration. Yes, a rig right away would be great. But this is a completely different budget level.
And by the way, I saw Moza is actually preparing to release a sequential shifter. It's a good news. I hope this shifter will appear by the time I'm ready to buy this bundle.

@@imagineracer Shifter should come 25th January. Sound is not bad at all, wheel is silent, pedals as well just the click from paddles but it's nice I like it. It is not super loud click either. Just use double-sided tape on the pedals and it's fine but for you on carpet you don't need a rig to stabilize the pedals. When it comes to FFB, it's just if you go full FFB and there is no need this thing is way stronger than people say in other videos.

just bought the r5 bundle with the shifter, csp pedals, and handbrake. so hype for the setup. had a logitech g27 and it broke after like 5 days of intense gaming 😭
That's awesome man, great pedals you got as well you gonna love it for sure. You can also turn that shifter you bought into a sequential with a 3D printed part and some elastic bands and it looked pretty nice as well.
I just got my handbrake as well so will test it soon. Will probably do a full review on the bundle and handbrake combined. Nothing but positives to say about it so far, great software, cool feel of FFB and nice quality wheel, have had a blast so far in EA WRC and WRC Generations also felt wonderful after some tweaking. Just very premium and nice to the touch, nothing feels cheap in the bundle.

Hell yeah man! im so hype. the wait is killing me. it says on the trackinh app that 3/4 items shipped but i never got a shipping email from moza themselves yet. i only ordered it on tuesday!
@@SassyTheSasquatch11122 You ordered directly from Moza? I would highly recommend to order from a retail, I heard they are very slow from Moza themselves, people waiting a month and more. I ordered mine from retail had it in 2 days. You have however gotten a shipped notice which is a good sign, some don't even get that. You are ordering from China directly when you order from Moza so now shipping can be 14 days I think depending on how they ship it.

@@SassyTheSasquatch11122 Yeah that sucks, I know it sounds crazy but don't order directly from Moza, they seem so slow in general. The discord has many people not getting the stuff within a month so that sucks tbh, they should really tell you this before you order. That's my only complaint, they should not suck in customers to these extreme shipping delays and even take orders when they don't have units in stock which is another thing they seem to do. You can cancel your order if it's not sent yet and then order locally if possible. If you can't then just wait it out because it's definitely worth it.
the box is the extra springs are a kit for the SR-P pedals and not the SR-P LITE set
They work though, the springs are the same and the rubber as well. The only thing is the plastic part between them have a wider cut for the rubber underneath and a smaller for the spring. So if you want to go 2 rubbers or 2 springs it will not be in the grooves perfect for the rubber but the metal rod will keep it in place either way. There are people using small skateboard bushings just fine so this should not be a problem either. Besides I think it's misunderstood, spring kit for the SRP includes SRP lites since it is an SRP pedal.
