    I think i´ve learned more from watching 3 of your short videos than i did watching multiple hours of other vids.
    Thank you for actually explaining what the hell you do when encountering the inevitable problems while wrapping something! 🙏👍

    Brilliant using the glass to show what is happening (literally) behind the scenes.

    Amazing pointer. Overlap is important I had no idea. Left and right overlap which means taking another lap over one more time so all bubbles are gone and pressing it hard not soft otherwise you’ll have bubble city and not using just hands because that’s a disaster for bubble city. Vital info. Thanks TesBrother 🙏😎. Keep posting this golden vids ✨

    Thank you for this! I've been practicing on some parts before I wrap my motorcycle in a couple weeks, and it can be frustrating not knowing what is going wrong with the vinyl laying. So thanks!

    Nice tutorial would it apply to larger pieces of applying vinyl? Would you suggest a soft or hard squeegee?

    • @tesbros
      @tesbros  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, all vinyl application. I use the soft side more often, but getting in corners or edges I use the hard side too

    I’m getting tons of tiny bubbles. And they don’t want to go away. Pressure, heat, heat & pressure, they are very stubborn 😂. What would be your first suggestion?
    Great video btw, really cool idea to use the glass, smart

      @@erikrummel6277 check your squeegee. Either that or it’s pressure so work on evening out your finger position so it’s flat.

    Just got PPF on my new Lexus with XRPlus Xpel and there were dozens small bubbles all around the car and loose edges. Installer said its normal to have bubbles. It will go away in 3weeks during the curing period. After 3 weeks he will inspect the car again, wash it and use heat gun to stick any loose edges, even out any imperfections and the wrap will look flawless. Is this supposed to happen?

      PPF is different from a vinyl wrap. While bubbles in your vinyl wrap are bad, small bubbles in your PPF should go away after a couple weeks after installation. The loose edges are a bit concerning though, because dirt can get under there and prevent it from sticking properly, but keep an eye on it and mention anything you're concerned about with your installer.

      @@tesbros i return to them today to have them removed the PPF on the front and back bumpers. Regards the unsealed edges, they said they dun use heat gun yet until it dry out in 3 weeks. Doing so immediately will burn the films?

    What about sun bubbles? I did a pretty good job with squeegee, post heat etc. The recessed areas are terrible now. And I already reinstalled trim pieces and no more material lol

      I'm sorry you're dealing with that man. Is it possible the vinyl was overstretched? Most vinyl can only be stretched about 15% before it starts to discolor and/or lose its integrity

    • @MrMogulMoney
      @MrMogulMoney ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tesbros I don't think I overstretched the recessed areas. My very first panel, yes. But after, I started to lay into those areas without heat. The sun destroyed those same areas lol

      Hmm, I see. The only thing I can think of (without seeing it) is that you didn't post heat enough. All vinyl has a set temp for post heating - like 3M is 85 C/185 F. So if it wasn't hot enough, bubbles can definitely happen. If you want to send photos to submissions@tesbros.com, I'll take a look at it and see if I can help you recover it

      @@tesbros thank you bro! At least I have an idea of what went wrong. Just gonna fail forward because I actually like to wrap now. I'll send pics as well
