- Not sure if this is completely necessary just to fit the wheels/tires, when you're lifted. But definitely needed for offroading when going larger tires, and wheels with a lower offset than stock.

Very helpful
Lol I thought you looked familiar I watched your 240 videos we both got a zr2 and 240
Can you post a link to that kit/instructions? I’m hoping I could find one for my 2016 Z71.
I just did this trim right now following your step by step, thanks for the video! Best one I've watched I think
Awesome! Thank you!
That kit took me quite awhile. The front looks good, but the “close out” panel on the real does not sit flush with the flare and it looks kind of trashy. When my 33s run out of life I’m upgrading to 35s and the highmark flares.
for me it took me a while to figure out the templates.. i wanted to make sure i didnt cut it wrong, even had my wife come and double check me before i did anything 😂 .. i didnt bother doing the rear because i dont do heavy offroading and am not worried about the rear flares as much. im also considering doing 35s when these 33s wear out.. but i dont want to do high marks
@@chrisdz if you go with 35s and no Highmarks, would you just cut the panels? I’ve seen some that have cut along the fender line and it looks good.
@@scotw67 I like the look of the fenders trimmed over the high marks.. but you have to make sure you do it’s neat enough since nothing is gonna cover up any wavy cuts
@@chrisdz true. The ones I’ve seen have used a U shaped edging to cover the cut edge. At some point I’d like to do the Highmarks, but not sure if I’d want to tackle it myself. Great channel & I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Well done, sir!
@@scotw67 🤘🏼 thanks man. Appreciate it
Great video but a very tedious/ difficult kit; when I installed my kit I was frustrated and pulling my hair out. I found the rear to be more challenging.
You well pop the flares off the rear if you off road much. I thought the install was pretty easy, just time consuming.
yeah, my thoughts exactly
These videos are so awesome.
Install starts at 4:42 🤦🏻♂️
Did you put the 33" tires on stock wheels? Did you need wheel spacer?
at the time of recording this video, no.. i was on stock wheels and tires. I had a new setup on the way, so i cut the fenders ahead of time. you shouldnt need spacers on stock wheels, you actually might not even need to trim on stock wheels with 33" tires, if you're lifted/leveled
I know the upload is a while back but where did you find a kit like this?

sorry for the late reply.
Great video, how long did it actually end up taking you?
i wanna say it was about 3hrs for just the fronts, but some of that time was also filming and talking to the camera
All I've ever wanted in life is your type of height, your type of truck and your type of house. How about we trade lives for a weekend? 😀👍
I think you think it's annoying cuz you burned yourself lol. Looked pretty easy to me 🤔. Next time throw your purse at it, maybe it'll turn into a toyota.
