Did this just start happening to you today? It did for me. Nothing has solved it. None of these settings, deleting and redownloading the app, restarting my iPhone, nothing.
Yeah I’m no longer getting alerts from messenger, new msgs from friends no longer turns blue either, nor do new msgs push that friend to the top of the list, they really messed this up, why fix something that didn’t need fixing because it only broke it !! It’s annoying because I have to keep checking back through msgs to see if anyone has replied, sometimes I miss it and it makes me look ignorant
same here for me, it worked a while ago then now suddenly a few days ago it just stoped, only shows messages when i eventualy open messanger, al other apps work, just not messanger
@@eXpr3sSame here. It has to be the messenger app. It was not working a month ago, then it fixed itself and now it did it again today. It's crazy how such a simple feature is not working.

miketorre16 Bro, While iPhones don't have the exact "round bubble" notifications as Android, you can enable "Badges" for Messenger. These are small red circles on app icons indicating unread notifications. Turn on Badges in Settings > Notifications > Messenger to use this feature.☺️
This was pretty comprehensive but sadly I’m still not getting notifications. Any other ideas please?

Everything is turned on but still not coming 😂🤣
