Which ones are your personal highlights among these cozy (or not so cozy) titles?! I have to admit, I am absolutely hype for the cozy horror games, but I am also really craving a cutesy game like Hello Kitty: Island Adventure!! Also, where are my Rune Factory & Otome fans at??? - I appreciate you all~🤭😝💖
Me! I love Otome! Especially dark ones and JJ (which wasn’t so dark, minus maybe one route I shall not spoil XD). I am 100% going to fall in love with the killer in Grave Seasons. Red flags just look like happy love markers to me 💕😭
You should really play Virche already!!! I promise you won't regret it! (or you actually will because it made you too sad 😂) I really wonder if it's always gonna be the same killer or if it could be generated differently each time?!?! 😱
@@CloudySkiesGaming You better hope I don’t regret it, or of course I’m going to blame you for my disappointment 😤🤣 For real I’ll be going through it soon, I just have to embrace the sadness and not continue believing it’s a story about a happy fireman 🫣🤭
I'm really excited for Grave seasons and Farmagia, I would love to see more in the cozy horror genre in the future. Mashima's character designs are always so pretty. I don't know that I would consider wanderstop as cozy horror (at least not yet), but it looks like a fresh twist on the cozy gaming genre so that will be cool.
Yay! It's great to know you're also interested in the cozy horror niche! I think that's really rare! But you're right; placing Wanderstop in this category could be a stretch. While it definitely has unsettling aspects and dark elements, it might not exactly fit the classic "jump-scarey," suspense-thriller type of horror people would imagine. But yeah, no matter what it turns out to be, it will definitely be very interesting to explore the game! 😍
These all sound so good 😳 I loved Fairy Tail manga, and knowing the author... He loves a lot of fanservice xD Grave Seasons premise is mega cool, and I love horrors so the idea of cozy horror is fantastic 😍
Ooooh, that is interesting for sure! I can see how he puts special attention on the ladies in his artwork XDD!! I wonder how much fan service will be in Farmagia though haha. YAY!! Cozy Horror is such a fascinating concept to me x). I love horror but I'm a little bit of a whimp, so having it mixed with something just a bit less unsettling is perfect for me!
I'm so looking forward to Hello Kitty! 😊 Bunnies are my favourite animal and I'm so happy you can play as one in the game. All of the characters are soooo cute! 🥰
Tales of the shire looks pretty dope, I didn't even know this game was coming. Thanks for tagging me in the description btw and using the song on your awesome video!
Your music is absolutely amazing!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I've been looking for good LotR songs for a really long time until I finally found your work!💖✨ (and yess, I am pretty hyped for this game 👀) Thank you so much for stopping by 😭✨
I was so intrigued by the cozy horror section! I like some horror media I call "comfort food horror," and it's supposed to be scary, I know, but it ends up comforting me instead. I'd be interested in games where horrific things happen, but you cope and life goes on. Maybe Grave Season would be like that? I'll definitely look into it. Also, I'm so excited for Chef RPG! I've been following Pixel Architect's dev logs, and he has such a neat perspective that goes into making his game. I'm especially excited to see the world he's made that Chef RPG is set in.
I wonder why horror games still manage to make us feel cozy haha. Maybe it's a feeling of nostalgia? Like, imagining times when you'd watch horror movies at home with the light off in bed or on the sofa.🤭 Or maybe for some people, it could be a way too find closure and acceptance? I'm just happy to know I'm not the only one finding them so intriguing, hehe~ Grave Seasons could definitely turn out to be like this!! I hope they will reveal more info about it soon! Riiight?! I've watched a few of Pixel Architect's videos and the way he designs everything and builds the world is just amazing!! I am looking forward to the worldbuilding in Chef RPG so so much too!! 🥰
Oooh welcome to our cozy community. I hope you will enjoy it here, hehe~🥰 Glad you liked Grave Seasons so far because it's definitely a little different from the usual farm life sims! I've been following the Chef RPG dev too!! Following his development process is super interesting!! I am hyped for this game too x).
2:20 Okay for real, in Chef RPG Mae Lou saying that you make her feel feel like a warm cup of tea was way cuter than I was expecting and even made my heart flutter ❤❤ I’m so excited about these new cozy and not so cozy games. Thank you for the video Cloudy! 🤗
I knoooow!! She seems like such a sweetheart!!🥺 Of course!! I will always be there for you in case you need more life sims with romance or even murder 😏🤭
Kuromi is soooo cute!!! I am desperate to see her themed furniture sets! I would love to have some kawaii goth-style Halloween decor. 😍 That is so cool!!! I haven't heard of anyone besides Josh (from Gaming Garden) who has played the Japanese version before! But it's sooo great to hear that you actually enjoyed the game. Most opinions I have read were more on the negative side, but at first glance, the game does look charming to me.
same here cloudy, wanderstop doesn't really feel like a cozy game per se but i'm gonna keep my eye on it for sure. Also i haven't heard of Elrentaros wanderings but now it is going on my wishlist.
Riiight?! It's like you can't really put Wanderstop into a fitting category, but that makes it even more intriguing somehow. HOHO, always happy to help (and make your wishlist loooonger)! I kinda thought you might like Elrentaros based on the other games you like 🤭
Ooooh, I'm happy to hear you care about Graveyard Keeper because I've always really enjoyed this game, but I just couldn't find a good time to cover it on a cozy channel because it's sort of dark. 😂 It's still definitely relaxing in a way, and it has an interesting gameplay loop and farming mechanics. I will try to think of a way to cover it in the future! And I might make a spooky/cozy gaming edition for Halloween!! 🤗
I think mirthwood is cozy Gothic. It looks the most promising in that genre. I'm also super excited for chef RPG, haven't heard of it before and farmagia
Oh yes!! I have been eyeing Mirthwood for a while and was actually thinking of including it in this list. Sadly, I haven't found the time to play its demo yet, but SOON!! Chef RPG looks sooo promising, I swear!! Just the fact that we can run bakeries and tea houses really excites me, hehe. Farmagia was just announced in the past few weeks, but I am surprised not many people have heard about it!
I'm so excited for Wanderstop! I don't really play cozy games but I do like the aesthetic. It's kinda has Alice in Wonderland Vibes only it seems to be hiding some kind of darkness. Reminds me of Alice: Madness Returns only 10 times more subtle with unsettling part of the game. As someone who's played the Stanley Parable, I don't think it will have that much "horror". It will likely be more existential and psychological and might have some meta commentary on the cozy game genre itself. My guess from the trailer is that it's going to be a meta commentary of running away and escaping from our real life problems, which is something I've been doing a lot recently, so that moment at the end of the trailer especially hit close to home. I can't wait to discover what's really going on with this character.
Oooh Alice: Madness Returns - the nostalgia!! ~ hehe I'm always in for some darker vibes!! I don't play cozy games only🤫 I definitely agree with you on Wanderstop, though! I doubt it'll be full-on horror but I am very much looking forward to meeting a narrator who is breaking the 4th wall again. I love it when games are created to be self-aware and critical. It's very much up my alley, too!! 🥰
I am so excited about Tales of the Shire! It looks like the LotR game I've wanted; especially the focus on cooking!😍 And then Chef RPG... us cozy sim cooking lovers are "eating good" XD The Hello Kitty game looks sooooo cute tooo! That's another great list, Cloudy! I'm pretty excited for a Lord of the Ring cozy game, I'm not the tallest so my mom's nickname for me has been Hobbit ever since, I guess I feel connected to the game already 🤭 I've seen some things on Chef RPG, I think a video on how the dev designed the map? It was super interesting! The game seems like it'll be great fun! Farmagia looks fun too, definitely feel the Rune Factory theme, but also some Atelier series vibes, that's always a plus! My absolute favorite game on this list is Grave Seasons, love the approach and I'm a big fan of mystery solving, so that's gonna be a definite play for me haha 🤭 Also have you seen/tried Mirthwood yet? I think it definitely belongs into rhe cozy games category with dark elements. The demo is out on Steam at the moment and it's super fun and interesting! 😌 I like that you personally narrate your videos now btw! Your videos improve every time! Thank you for your hard work to bring our cozy community news 💕
That's such a cute story between you and your mom! You must be such a lovely hobbit, hehe. I want to be a hobbit in the Shire toooo 🤭 (I am a bit tall IRL, so the game will finally make me a cute shortie, hoho - but no offense to anyone! Height doesn't determine beauty or self-worth, of course). Yes, OMG, I must have watched the same or at least a similar video! His videos of constructing the map and the buildings were so fascinating! I love behind-the-scenes videos of devs showing off their progress in general x). Yes, Farmagia does look exciting!! I wonder how deep the story is going to be because they hinted at a more complex main character during the live showcase! I still really need to get into the Atelier series, by the way 😳. Mirthwood has been on my radar for quite a while. I just haven't found the time to try out the demo yet, which is such a shame!! I really wanted to include it in this video but I wanted to see it for myself first! But it makes me very hopeful to hear that you found it interesting! 😚 Oooooh, thank you so much for saying that!!! I was really worried if everyone actually enjoyed the change or not! I just thought I wanted to make my videos even more personal, if I can. Thank you for being here!! I am always happy to hear from you. 🥰
Also I'm really excited for a lot of these, the rube factory inspired one would be cool but if there isn't LGBT romance it's hard for me to want it. That's my big drawback with these games, if I can't be queer I just dont see the point. But that sunny side has me like 👀👀👀

soo ironic thing about this 5:55 i actually made a comment on the first? trailer for this game, begging for it to release on the switch 😅, and i am shocked they actually responded back by doing this, i didnt even think it'll happen but as soon as i saw the trailer i was super giddy. only downside is that i gotta wait next year for it 😭. although i am very weary for the rune factory like game from one of the teams members.. hmm i hope its good and not like that awful xseed 'game' silent hope, i was truly disappointed in that games release 😔.. i really wanted to play and enjoy but after hearing reviews, seeing gameplay and trying it out i cant the game is awful. i have no idea what went on these peoples minds but yeah.. so its very awkward yet interesting to see another one made but this time its a member? Hahaha wooow!! Who knows, maybe everything has been happening thanks to you after all 🤭🤫 But it's definitely a dream that they are actually doing this now!! 2025 seems so far ahead, but we are already halfway through 2024!! I can understand what you mean. I wouldn't consider any of the games "awful" per se, but I can definitely see where your disappointment might be coming from. Silent Hope also wasn't up my alley, which had me slightly cautious about any new Rune Factory-like entries from Marvelous and Xseed. I do find Yoshifumi Hashimoto's (the RF producer's) vision interesting though, and he might be able to show us an interesting concept that we could enjoy, even if the gameplay mechanics do look slightly dated. Yes, I agree! You can tell there is a lot of love and attention to detail in Chef RPG, and I am also very excited for it! I guess the character art is just a stylistic choice that looks charming, recognizable, and distinct to me, but I completely understand that everyone has their own taste in art 🤗 But I'm glad to hear that you'll still be able to enjoy the game, hehe.

also i am surprised chef rpg is releasing on the switch am interested in it and i adore the art its very detailed as heck i am just disappointed by the character sprit artwork though not into it but still will play the heck out of the game.
Hahaha wooow!! Who knows, maybe everything has been happening thanks to you after all 🤭🤫
But it's definitely a dream that they are actually doing this now!!
I guess the character art is just a stylistic choice that looks charming, recognizable, and distinct to me, but I completely understand that everyone has their own taste in art 🤗
But I'm glad to hear that you'll still be able to enjoy the game, hehe.
Chef RPG!
I'm 100% with you!!😍
Stardew valley cooking game??? Looks great. Though I've deliberately stayed away from the franchise because I know how addicted I'll get.
You know you need it; you know you want it~~👀🤭
I don’t love the art style of sunny side but the gameplay looks like Palia so I am interested if they iron out all the bugs 😊
True!! It does have a similar "open world" feel to it that you might enjoy. I'll try to keep you posted about the recent patches 🤗
