Great video, thanks 🙏 for not editing your mistakes, I seen a lot of ignition cylinder replacement videos and all them dude broke a screw and edited that part out. Only seen 1 guy say there’s 1 hidden screw the rest just said “grip it and rip it!”😂.
Another thing to note is that this would be much easier with 2 people. I see there was another man in the video later on but this goes to show we are all in our own world at times. He could also simply be giving the kids attention or unable to!
Good point on the slack ..bad ass bro im getting ready to do my extended cab with the exception of breaking those clips its gotta get done though. Im glad i seen this video.
my truck is a custom that was purchased new in 95 as a farmtruck and I'm only now realizing, looking at the interiors of all these others, it has NONE of the plastic trim. just bare metal everywhere. headliner isn't even fabric - it's white vinyl. 😂 the man my dad bought it from in '05 really said "I don't care as long as it hauls hay."
Thanks for showing me how to do this. Sorry you ended up with broken clips. I’ll try hard not to break any, but mine is a 1992 and it’s old and brittle, so we shall see.
No problem, but the question isn’t whether ur gonna break some or not, it’s how many are u going to break, it’s a no biggie though, u can fix them with a hot glue gun like I did
Man when you said "every panel I've touch I've broken something off of it" made me laugh so hard. These old trucks are so brittle it makes it tough to work on them and not break anything lol
Half ways I felt like giving up cuz I didn’t want to break anything else but once it was ready to go back together I glued all the clips that broke off with hot glue gun, u can’t even tell I broke half the clips

Thanks for the good instructions. This is the best video I’ve seen so far on how to do this. Thanks so much.

Yea I wanted to leave all the mistakes with the hidden screws and mounting points, I fix all the pieces I broke with glue and u can’t even tell
You did a chingon job Bro! Thanks for the tips, I have to do my 95 headliner and this gave me a lot of insight.
Thanks, glad I can give u some motivation to do urs
You did a great job! I have a ‘96 Chevy I’m going to do. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching
Thanks! That side piece with the speaker cover removal was my question. You answered that.
No problem, glad I can help
Great job! looks good! thanks for the insight! will help me out when i do my 93
I been wanting to do mine on a 90’ Chevy but not quite sure where to start. Appreciate you for making this video!
Headliner came out clean! And hot glue is good for plastic repair. Scuffing up the plastic with some sandpaper. Helps the hot glue to stick on better.
Thanks, it was my first time doing it but wasn’t too bad other than breaking couple of clips
Thank you Thank you I listened to you and just slid it out from front with just the top door pillars and might repair it later but you helped out alot
Glad I can help

Thanks for the tips will save us breaking ours much appreciated

That's was a good idea using the paint roller. To smooth out the material on the headliner board.

If u didn’t break anything while in the process then it wasn’t done right
best video on this process, thanks bro

Thanks,
All those broken pieces can be put back together with J B Weld plastic weld. Its stronger than the original plastic.
@@garypease7414 yea, I just got glued them and they were good

Antes de ponerlo extiende el material y luego le das una planchada, y keda muy bien, sin arrugas!!!
Ok gracias, para la otra le trato
Brother, where did you get the fabric from? I have a 91 silverado with blue inside
@@guillermoperez4164 I got it from Joann fabric and crafts, they sell it by the yard
@cali530marcos3 gracias carnal, voy a tratar de cambiar el mio, mi pendiente es quebrar los clips🤣
Good job man
Thanks, wasn’t too bad after breaking most of the clips
Look good bro 👍
Thanks
How much material did you need for the head liner ?
I think I got 2 yards, that’s how they sold it to me, by yards
where did you buy the headliner material from?
A store called Joann’s fabric, it’s like an arts and crafts type of store
Where did you get your seat reupholstered?
Took it to a guy local to me, he took 3months though but only charged me $200
Hey man what size of headliner do you have?
Not sure it’s OE, maybe 3x5 feet, but I got 2yards to do the headliner
LMC Trucks may have the parts you are looking for
Thanks, I will look into it
Where did you buy your fabric at bro?
I went to Joann fabrics and crafts,
@@cali530marcos3 What size would you suggest? I have a single cab as well.

LMAO 😂😂😂😂😂 THIS GUYS LITERALLY BROKE EVERYTHING INSTEAD OF FIXING LMAO 😂😂😂😂
Yea it happens, but I did glue it all back together and made it look OE, good luck to the guy that takes it apart next time
Nothing we can't fix with a little bit of glue 😅
Might not be the correct way to fix it, but it’ll hold till the next guy goes in there and breaks it
I think you did great! Just funny how you said that part lol
