Around 2000, Peterbilt emblems faded where the red turned almost yellow and started to peel on their own. My 2000 emblems have been chrome for about 8 years now.
Right... the 99' 379 I drove for 11 yrs for the Chrismans did exactly the same as you mentioned. Also their 94' 379 Ole Yeller's badges faded but they didn't turn yellowish,, I wonder 🤔 why some turned Yellowish while others yr models faded kinda White-ish ...Cleveland Tenn, Waivin a Hand 🖐

So... I'm guessing that younz can fill in where the Red was with another Color that is a similar product and not just paint??.... Say you have a Green Truck... Can you put Green "Rubbery Stuff" back in to replace the Red you took out?.... "Rubbery Stuff"!... Haha!... I'm not sure what its called... Hahahaha!
