We Painted Westen Champlin's $200,000 Peterbilt 379!!

- Gentry & Sons Trucking needed some help in the middle of a really big project....rebuilding Westen Champlin's Peterbilt 379. With less than 4 weeks to go before the Mid America Trucking Show (MATS) we had to get this portion of the work done extremely quick but knew it also had to be perfect. Part 2 of this video is to follow showing the truck being assembled and MAYBE the frame also gets new paint?!
Hats off to all the guys I love Tim and the guys but your guys stepping in just guaranteed the final look Tim's been promising for a while couldn't have happened without you thanks for giving a guy what he deserves

Hey… Tim’s just a guy whose doing what he loves and trying to do the best he can… more then i can say for a lot of people…. He is however smart enough to get the right people involved to do what it takes to get a project like this over the line. Kuddos to him for letting them handle it and knocking it out of the park… hope the rest of the truck turns out the same..!

I said when Tim got Westons truck it never be finished that Weston would end up whipping Tim's a$$ or sale it to him for nothing because Tim would tell him the labor bill is so high no one would pay for it and truck would never be finished thank God for Rob at SHTube calling in some favors he has at Fitzgeralds to get this truck finished because he new Tim was lost out of place hell Rooster was down a year before the fire burnt the motor and it was finished just waiting on Tim to put it back in if the fire never happed that truck would still be setting and this truck would be in the field at the farm waiting on someone to come and finish it for him just hope Tim finishes it up and not let it set and ruin this paint job
You know Westin is much relieved to know that his truck is being painted by professionals 👍🏻👍🏻

Tim is a great all around guy, with good intentions; But just because you know alot about mechanics and trucks, doesn`t mean you can do a show worthy paint and fabrication job. Some of you guys think he`s some kind of truck Guru.
he better give credit where credit is due. You guys killed it. It takes professionals for a job of this magnitude. Tim wouldn't have ever got it done and he knows it. Props to you guys for stepping up.

FCR, there is one thing that you did that put the final stamp on the job and showed your true professionalism. You read every comment and politely answered every question about your process. True Body and Paint Shop and It Shows from a cab that they thought was ready to the amount of work Fitzgerald did to make this a Successful Restoration, I think it’s a plus that they’re putting the cab on the frame and somewhat back together in your facility 🏆👊🏼🏆

A lot of rework to get it ready, ol western probably forgot about this truck been a log time in between many shops now.
Thank god these Fitzgerald's took over, as we can see they are redoing everything Gentry and Sons did on it, going on 3 years now. Just don't let Gentry and Son's take the credit for this build.

Tims a good guy with a huge heart, he does a good job running his business and making money, the downfall is this was a huge job, would take so many hours, tim didn't have the time or money to do this for free, like hes going to make it back on TH-cam videos, joke and a half, the truck isn't finished yet so let's wait for the end result, im afraid Tim used up all if any favors he had at FCR, God bless you guys

Do they ever finish a project on their own. Heck EZ Rider up in northern North Dakota completely dissambled and rebuilt, painted, and upholstered his 359 in his single truck garage singlehandily(including a new cutoff install,plus a new third axle himself) and was back on the road in no time. This Westen job could have been finished a year ago by those Pakistani mechanics,right?
