Do you think it is necessary to glue the base of the caps to the board? I assumed they did it to reduce the possibility of vibration braking the leads. If so, what kind of adhesive. Mine seemed like it had contact cement. I wouldn't want anything corrosive/ conductive like silicone.

I got one of theese, but unfortunately only the OD chanel works and the leds are dead, i hope i will get it fixed sometime...
