  • "Dreams of Light and Shadows" is an album showcasing a selection of recent works by Kristine Warmhold. The music celebrates the bittersweetness of the ups and downs of live while offering a sense of hope. In this episode of Music for the Harp, Kristine shares with us the inspirations behind some of the pieces from "Dreams of Light and Shadows" and some suggestions on where to start if you would like to give these pieces a try.
These pieces are suitable for harpists with small hands. With the exception of "Sleeping Garden", all pieces are suitable for lever harp. While majority of the pieces are found in various sheet music books that Kristine published in recent years, two of them are available as singles only. Lovely interview. I love Kristine’s music, we also play the lyre and a lot of her music can be found to accommodate 7-10-12-16-19 and 21 strings for acoustic lyres or small harps as well as small hands. The Moon will Come and Save me is lovely Thank You Kristine😊❤

I've always been drawn to artists whose works are inspired by their life experiences. Sharing a slice of your live with others is scary and vulnerable at times, and for me that makes the works more real and relatable somehow. - Victoria
