Beautiful harp. Beautiful kitty. Nice chicken - well, maybe. I’m not a chicken dude. But I am a harp dude. Your harp looks like a style 100. I have a 23 and I remember how excited I was when I got it in 1978. Like you, I got a natural wood finish. Playing the harp was probably the greatest joy in my life. I have many memories of playing the harp in concerts, orchestras, and churches. You are so fortunate to have discovered the beauty of harp playing. I wish you the best of everything.
OMG Christy-Lyn !!! A pedal harp ! How lucky you are, I almost had tears in my eyes thinking of what you could feel by opening it ! Your harp is so so so beautiful !
Awwww, you're so sweet!! I must say i had a huge grin on my face as I was editing this video because it brought back the excited feeling :)
What an amazing instrument. Congratulations, you've obviously worked very hard for this and earned every bit of it.
Thanks Gene, I so appreciate your words!
Everything is so beautiful- you, the harp, your family and how they support you. God bless you all!
It reminds me so much of when I recieved my own harp I started crying while watching the video :) I'm so happy for you!
That's so lovely to hear!! I'm so touched that you and others are identifying so much with my excitement and joy - what a loving, supportive community here on TH-cam :) :)
Indeed, totally agreed! :D Though my community mostly comes from Twitch, TH-cam is indeed pretty awesome
Even not tuned it has a beautifully rich sound.
AMAZING! I just got my first lever harp last week and it's wonderful! It's a 25-string from Triplett. One day I hope to graduate to pedal harp as well. :D
I just appreciate you so much. After 30 years playing piano I decided to be that guy who one day goes to rent a harp out of nowhere and take lessons. I did two, I think... maybe three... then the teacher excused herself and said she could do no more for me. Those three hrs and thinking of it like a sideways piano and I was already taking piano solos and just playing em on the harp. Got my own prelude and after a year or two it was stolen. I then spent the following I dunno, 4 or 5 years harpless and I had gotten to the point I just ached to play and Pakistani harps kept coming in and the full size one cracked in half all the way down the first time I tried tuning it and the small were twangy and more ornamental and I soothed myself at least a hundred times watching your videos. It was like heroin to me. I finally built a harp and then got me another prelude so I’m a matter of days into having it and being ok again but I owe u my thanks. I can’t explain in words just how real the anxiety has been and how truly you and all you do got me thru the musical depression. You’re beautiful inside and out, you’re an artist and musician, you’re a faithful judeochristian of some sort I surmise, you’ve got it all goin for you in my book. Just class, talent, and radiance all the way. That’s a rare thing these days. I’m no TH-camr but I’ll record a duet with you any day. Lemme know if down me on piano you on harp and splice that ish together. Something beautiful like...I dunno Schindler’s list. I wish my example of greatness were someone other than John Williams but I’m not ashamed. Have you not heard Itzak Pearlman’s performance? And who can beat his Harry Potter? Anyways I’ll keep with you as long as you’re making content. Thanks again. Just hope you appreciate all we see in you, we fans.
Wow! Gorgeous harp. You are indeed extremely lucky. 3 brand new harps in just a little over 2 years. Enjoy. Love the chicken.
Harps and Hens Thanks for the comment. Yes, it's been a crazy journey these past few years, and the excitement isn't stopping yet! I'm so thankful.
That video was such fun to watch. Lol, how many people and animals fit into that box? Hilarious! :) I also recorded an unboxing video as my harp arrived here in New Zealand. That one is just a small travel harp, so it was a fairly small box. I'd love to see more personal videos of you, you are such a nice uplifting person. Thanks!
Jan. 2023. Soon your harp will have another birthday. Love the memories. Still a great place to come back too.
Wow, such a beautiful instrument. I was lucky enough to have a couple of lessons on my harp teacher's Erard (which was a bit smaller than yours). I think my harp teacher imagined that one day I would graduate to a pedal harp but after about 20 years I actually downsized from 34 strings to 22. Less time tuning and means I can take my harp into the woods to play almost daily. I do miss the bass notes though.
I am so excited along with you, thanks for sharing this beautiful harp unboxing with us. Your awesome.
I actually teared up for You so happy!! What a blessing 😇❤️
Congratulations!!!!! I think I know how you feel!! I saved and saved for a new Ana -Salvi and waited many months for it to arrived from Italy. It was expensive (not as much as a pedal of course), but it was totally worth it. When it arrived, I was soooo happy. I just couldn't believe it. It was and still is my dream harp. God is faithful and whatever we ask him in prayer and believe, we shall receive (Mark 11:24). He will provide and you'll soon be debt free =).
We started saving for our future pedal harp. We still have a few years before my daughter starts taking pedal lessons. Enjoy, enjoy and enjoy!!!!
- Andrea
Thank-you for the beautiful words, Denisse. So true, it's amazing what God has been doing with my life - He's so faithful despite my faults. Great to hear your story - all the best with the saving!
Came back for another view, From your opening of a new Harp to the opening of your New Site Learningtheharp.com . Another special day in Mar. 2021. Congratulations Thank You Christy-Lyn for all the harp courses you have to offer for us self-taught harpies.
What a joyful day! I remember the day my Salvi Diana came in 1982. My parents had put something in the bank when I was born and I was fortunate they let me use it to buy a pedal harp! I was all alone when it came to the house, but I remember the giant trunk and the red wool cover and the beautiful harp inside. Now I have a Lyon and Healy Chicago Petite and a Camac Big Blue and a Dusty Strings folk harp.
Christy I am so so happy for you. It's finally here and now you get to really start playing any kind of music. Once you get the hang of the peddles it will all come together. I can't wait to hear you play her. She is beautiful. You will find the tension is a little stronger so you will have to pluck a little harder. I remember I use to play my peddle harp and then a lever harp and it was like I was attacking the strings on the lever harp because I was so use to the peddle harp tension Lol. My teacher was always yelling at me to stop attacking the harp! Anyway I love her and can't wait to hear her. Congratulations Christy you got her!!!!!!!
Haha, that can happen when you play a harp with different tension! Actually my Ogden has high tension strings to there isn't a huge difference :) Yes, my pedaling isn't quite there yet but I'm working on it!
So exciting! I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to get a pedal harp as well. I love how you all tried to fit in the box. ❤
Haha! We had to do something to emphasise the crazy-huge size of the box. I'm sure we could've fitted 10 people in there, if 10 people had been in the house! All the best with the saving :) xx
Congratulations ! ! ! Never saw such a big smile on your face as when you are now showing off your new Lyon & Healy Style 2000. Very excited for you and your musical career.
Thank-you Bernie! Yip, it was a very happy day :) :)
i fell in love with this in 2 seconds
Oh my Christy Lyn your new harp is so beautiful. It was great to see your parents and so many of your family. Now I can't wait to see you preform on it in the future.
Yay!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Doug :) It might be a while before I post a video with my new harp because I have so much going on at the moment... but it'll come eventually!
congratulations! you remind me my moment of unboxing the pedal harp 3 years ago! what a joy!
Such a wonderful feeling!
It's taken a few months for my Triplet to hold its toon. When I first got it I was toning it a couple times a day. From what I hear she's got a beautiful tone.
Yes it can take a while! But it is settling a bit better now although still not quite there.
I'm getting my first harp soon and I'm so exited!! Watching your videos really motivated me to take the first step and to actually do it! I'm sure it will be a lovely journey ^~^
So exciting!! 🤩 What kind of harp?
@@LearningtheHarp ahhh, you replied!! T^T It's a 22 string irish harp from gear4music!
My God Christy-Lyn that was such a lovely video, I always get so excited with these kinds of videos! Your new harp is very beautiful, I think it suits you very much!! :) I wish you all the best new adventures with your new harp-friend!! Happy harping!!
I'm so glad you like this type of video, Eri! It really was fun to make :) Thank-you for your kind wishes
How exciting! I'm so happy for you! My husband and harp teacher have been pushing me to get a pedal harp, and after watching this, my husband wants to buy me one even more! If only they weren't so expensive!
Yes, it's a pity they're such a massive investment!! I've seen some of your videos and it looks like you've also made very swift progress after starting as an adult, well done! Perhaps we have a lot in common. Do you perform a lot or do you mostly play for your own pleasure at home? :)
I've performed a few times at my church, mostly as prelude before services, but I don't really perform very much. I need to get more experience in that area. I do enjoy making recordings for TH-cam though. I also very much enjoy writing harp arrangements and am getting ready to launch my new website with my sheet music for sale. I just recently posted an arrangement of Beauty and the Beast to Sheet Music Plus after you recommended that to me, and I've sold several copies already. So thank you for your advice!
The video is so exciting. I laughed when you tried to fit into the box. Greetings from Russian and congrats on your beautiful harp
I'll never forget how I felt when I got my pedal harp. I've been playing harp for almost 20 years now, I started out playing harp when I was around 6 and now I'm 25. I played harp primarily for a hobby but got quite into it and even performed with a few orchestras as I got older. I like to have both lever and pedal harps for the same reason as you, to be able to play a wider variety of repertoire and I'm a bit more fond of my lever harp if I'm being honest! I've only had my pedal harp for a couple of years now, mine is also Lyon & Healy and the trip was from Chicago to Japan so it definitely took a long time before the strings settled into their tuning! I'd say almost a month before it stopped being so finicky! I did have prior experience with pedal harp due to performing and using one of the harps from my city's philharmonic orchestra and they allowed me to take it home for practice but it wasn't really my own, but opening that box and seeing the pedal harp and knowing it was actually mine was truly an unforgettable feeling!! I haven't been able to take my pedal harp with me since my current apartment is a bit too small for it but I do still have my lever harp just in case I feel like playing. My pedal harp just resides in my old room at my parents' house for now but if I move somewhere larger, I'll take the harp with me no matter what haha!
Nice to see the sparkle in your eyes! Wish you success!
Enjoy your beautiful new harp, well deserved for all the help you provide others !
Thank-you, that's so sweet!
You're so cute with your new pedal harp, im so happy for you.
Thanks Cali! ❤️
My exciting news for this week is that I might be getting a harp
Oooooh!!! Very exciting!! 🤩
Learning the Harp with Christy-Lyn! It is! I’ve been interested in harps for a while and recently wanted to try one out, and I just might be able to get one! 🤩
Learning the Harp with Christy-Lyn! More exciting news, my mom just bought me a harp!
A new pedal harp is so exciting! Can't wait to hear more of it, congrats!❤️❤️
Thank-you Dania! I hope to see your harp soon :)
Congratulations! Your family seems so awesome!!
Was so excited to see it last Wednesday :) You been talking about a pedal harp for a few years now and its finally here :)
Yay!!! SO exciting. Thank-you for your constant support, my friend!
Oh congratulations!! It's a lovely harp, and I like it in the natural finish too. So, is it a Lyon & Healy? Enjoy!! You truly deserve it and you will now be able to play every genre of music available!! Oh, and enjoyed seeing your family in the video and all of the people & animals fitting inside that harp box!! Can't wait to hear a tune on it! Slainte! Gloria🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Yes, it's a L&H Style 2000, an electro-acoustic harp. I'm glad you enjoyed the fun little video :)
Harp unboxing party haha I want to have one ! I actually have to open my harp outside and quickly move it inside since the box won’t fit in the elevator. My exciting intimate moment in public. I prefer this!
Such inspiring thing to see. My harp is also a Lyon & Healy, Style 85 E, and when she first came trough the elevator in my home... I was so emotinally struck. A pedal harp in someone's life is a blessing of unparalled magnitude. May you make wonderful music in your journey with this new partner. I would choose Lyon & Healy again for a new harp. I believe their harps sound the best out of all companies, even though Salvi's pedal harps are also good. May take some time for the harp to be in shape and acquire a pure tune but it's all worth it.
Hi Jose! I'm so glad to hear that you're happy with your new harp. It's such an exciting feeling, isn't it? :)
I got my first harp about a week ago! It’s. 34 string lever harp and it’s so gorgeous!
Ooooooo sounds amazing!! What brand / model?
Learning the Harp with Christy-Lyn! It’s an older Aoyama! She’s been in storage for almost 50 years and now is finally strung up and being played!
Oh you really get the one! How wonderful! In my case, again I've got a small one from America, an electro acoustic of Lewis Creek. I am looking forward to watching Virtual Harp Summit that you are presenting, Christy-Lyn.
It's lovely to hear from you, KIKI. Are you saying you have a pedal harp too? It's exciting to have different harps to explore different types of music! I will be glad to see you at the Virtual Harp Summit :)
No, no it's opposite. My new one is a non-pedal travel harp again. I'm a kind of a small harp lover. ^^)
You may have a wide range of new music on a pedal harp. How nice! I enjoyed and was excited the first day that the new harp came to you. Thanks for sharing, Christy-Lyn. Looking forward to your video on a pedal harp in the near future.
Oh wow, an electro-acoustic small harp. That's fantastic!! I'd love to see it on your channel soon :) Thank-you for sharing my excitement about my pedal harp xxx
I will start the journey on 25th February !!! I cant wait it arrives. Thank you so much Christy-Lyn for inspiring me for this :)
You're doing so nicely! Proud of you!
Thanks Dom! I appreciate your support :) I hope you can see me perform live soon! I'm at the Barleycorn this Monday night the 13th. Will you be there?
I'm based in Berlin now, so unfortunately not. However I'm so glad you're smashing the content. Super proud!
Ah, that's sad! Well I'm glad you're enjoying the videos anyway :)
For sure. Go and check out my vids and make sure you subscribe too. Some exciting ones to follow soon too! :)
Beautiful harp! Congratulations! Just found your channel tonight while looking for info about the virtual harp summit next week. I am enjoying all of your videos! Wishing you all the best in your adventures with your new harp!
Thanks so much for sharing my excitement, Trish! So amazing to have this beautiful harp. I'm happy you found my channel :) Will you be attending the Virtual Harp Summit? I'd love to "see" you there!
That is a beautify instrument. How do you transport it to venues to play. It must weight quite a bit. Does it even fit in a normal car?
I've said it already on Insta but congratulations! Such a great idea to get a pick up system already fitted in. I remember the day my harp arrived in the same massive box - we were so excited! And yes you've gotta love new-harp-smell!
Hi Angelina!! Good to see you over here on TH-cam :) The new-harp-smell was unexpectedly amazing!
How exciting!! I'm sure you'll play it a lot and I'm already looking forward to hearing it!
Was so surprised to see you holding a chicken, I had no idea you had one! I have 5 and they are such fun!
Yes, we have 3! Millie is like a pet because we hatched her from an incubator and hand-reared her so she's very tame. She's 10 years old now! Our other two chicken are less tame although they also like company and try to come into the house whenever the door is open. We love the fresh great-quality eggs.
Christy-Lyn's music That's so funny, my tamest chicken is named Milly! She's a lot younger, though, only about 1 1/2 years old. Chickens are surprisingly good pets, and like you said, the eggs are a great bonus.
Woooow that's the dream right :D Thanks so much for sharing how you got to this point and what it's like to open and receive one of these. *Dreaming*. It seems they are quite high maintenance and there is a yearly expense to keep it maintained - is that correct? I'm admiring your lever harp - the Ogden I think it's called - what is the maintenance on that one compared to this one? Thanks :)
Wow so nice, whitch model is it (producer? Name?)
It’s a Style 2000 from Lyon and Healy 😊
@@LearningtheHarp It's a beauty.
A beautiful instrument !!
what a great video, and your family seems so fun!! Congratulations on the new addition to the harpy family! :)
Aw, thanks Tiffany! Ja, they're the best :) Wish you could come over for dinner and a harp jamming session sometime!
Hi, what an exciting time to get the new harp. So.... how many people and animals fitted in the box? I see Amy and David were there! Great cousin times!!
Hello my wonderful Uncle! It was 8 people, a dog, a cat and a hen! :D Such fun to have my cousins around more often... so precious!
When I was a Kid, my Grandma told me that only Angels play the Harps. I imagine you are one. Blessings.
Congrats on your pedal harp ! It's beautiful!
Thank-you Elizabeth! So much new music to learn, it's exciting!
This is just fabulously exciting :) Well done you clever, hard-working thing you!! I love your zany chicken antics, and really liked the strange straight-out-of-the-box tuning.
You could probably rent out that box over here in London as living accommodation for about £500/month ;)
This reminds me a little of having my piano delivered last year, although it wasn't brand new and I hadn't worked hard to earn it the way you have - it was passed down to me by a wonderful relative. But a comparably large musical delivery :)
As for exciting news in my life this week... nothing can touch this, but I am starting a couple of fun new projects (as you know ;) ) and working hard, which is my favourite thing to do!
Hahaha! I'm pretty sure I could survive a few days in that box, although for that price I think rather not ;)
Oh yes, I remember when you received your piano, super exciting too!! I think you've worked for years for that piano, although perhaps indirectly.
Yay for working hard doing things you love! You're very good at that. Keep up the great work!
Christy-Lyn's music I love how excited you all are. Such a nice communal vibe :) :) :)
Family are the best, aren't they! When the truck pulled up to the house my mom screamed and I got a HUGE fright, it took me a while to recover!!
Exciting time is I started learning the harp this month!
That's wonderful news!! How is it going?
ow I'm happy for you, you have the opportunity to keep all the harps you have, the small one and the BIG one. It was funny to see the chicken :) I was sad when I received my pedal harp, I had to give back my Celtic harp. So enjoy having both of them. So now I wait to see new videos on this one ;)
Ah, that is very sad that you couldn't keep both!! Maybe in the future you will be able to buy another lever harp again? :)
Looks beastly. Congrats!
Haha, thanks!
Hi thank you for a fab video! Just wondering if I could use say a concert harp in my box-room? Not sure of minimun space - my room is empty and 6 feet squared. Hope you can help!
Hi Simon! I think it will be too small for the pedal harp plus the chair and leaning the harp back on your shoulder. But you might manage to play a lever harp in there… 🤔
Woooooooooooww!!! It’s so gorgeous!!!
Yay! Love it 😍
So excited for you!!!
Thanks Charles!
I can see happiness in your face. Lolz Congrats.
omg! you got a pedal harp...I really felt with you when you opened it.You looked so happy😊 I got one a few month ago after 6 years of practising with smaller harps and it's a huuuge difference but at the same time so much fun.although it looks very similar to yours (very pretty by the way), I got a blond one too 😍
hope you will have soooo much fun with it
Oh great!! Which harp did you get? Thanks for your comment, it's such a wonderful feeling to get a harp you've been wanting for years!!
Christy-Lyn's music its a aoyama etude 46E .
it's got the same colour as yours but the side lines at the soundboard are dark and the middle line on the soundboard is light , just the exact opposite of yours :)
oh yes it was and is very exciting 😊
Beautiful harp 👍👍👍
I m consider to buy style.100 which is quite similar style to your one. Just thinking about the color, I love natural too, but will it turns to a bit yellow later....
Hi, Christy-Lyn! This must've been so exciting, and I'd like to eventually own a pedal harp! Did you try this particular harp out before buying, or did you just order it sight-unseen?
huge congrats its beautiful! I started learning the lever harp 3 months ago and I love your videos. I've started thinking I want to invest in a double strung cross strung harp as I'm a pianist and it seems like a great option if you can't afford a pedal harp! any thoughts? I'm in Australia and they seem hard to find!
Hi Shelley! Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to play a cross-strung harp, although I would love to try! KIKI on TH-cam has one, so maybe you could talk to her about it. Another option might be a triple harp like Tiffany Baker here on TH-cam - I haven't tried one of those either but they seem amazing!
Chrysty-Lyn! This is so coooool! You must be SO HAPPY! Is it the first time you play on a pedals harp? :D
Thanks Amelie, I'm am really pleased :) No, I've been playing pedal harp in my lessons on and off for the past few years, but this is the first time I have one at home to practice on!
How long have you been playing the harp?
How do you order a Lyon and Healy harp or a Salvi harp I can’t find anywhere to purchase one. On their website it’s just pictures of what they have no way to order one at all :(
Big day. CONGRATS!
Hi Lawrence! Thanks for stopping by!
My most exciting event in my life was having knee replacement surgery on 1/31. I have lots of time to practice harp since I'm off work - but too painful to sit long and keep knee bent . I can pay my harp ( it's a Salvi Hermes lever) longer than I can piano .
Oh wow, that is a big event in your life!! I'm sorry about the pain but I hope the surgery was successful and the recover goes well. Enjoy the extra time with your harp! xx
What a beauty 😍
Do you recomment the pilgrim malvern concert?
Where did you bought one.
How many string dow a good harp has?
I recommend 34 strings if you can afford that, or 26 strings if you can only afford a smaller one. Have a look at Ravenna 26 and Ravenna 34 from Dusty Strings. Those are really good solid starter harps that you could use forever.
What are the dimensions of the box, height, width & depth?? I am bidding on a pedal harp from L&H 74" h x 42" wide x 22" depth. Weight is about 80 lbs. I just want to be sure that when shipped it will fit into the elevator of my building. It is a standard elevator, there is no freight elevator, just 3 standard ones. Thanks, Chava
Oh I don’t know the answer to that question, I don’t have the box anymore and I didn’t measure it. But you could contact the harp makers and I’m sure they would be able to answer your question 😊 All the best, very exciting!!
@@LearningtheHarp Thank you, but the harp is going for a LOT more than I can afford. est price $25-38,000. It is absolutely beautiful with a retail price of $55,000. Oh well, I guess I will stick to the Ogden in a few months, saving up $3000......G-d willing ...... Thanks Christy ... Love your videos ....
Don't know if my reply went thru, so here it is again. Thank you for your reply. However, the harp est price is $25-38.000 at auction. retail $55,000. Much more than I can afford. I day left to bid. Est for shipping $1280. It is absolutely magnificent. Bid is very low now, So we will wait and see. Looks like i will stick to my original thought of buying an Ogden as i like very much. Saving for that now. Will let you know results. Love your Videos Christy!!!!!!!!@@LearningtheHarp
No problem! The Ogden is a lovely harp too, I’m sure you will be very happy with it 😃
I'm so happy for you
Oh that is the most beautiful harp besides mine and my hard teachers
What are you going to name her or him
I'm glad you like it, Mia! It doesn't have a name :)
Wow that is a big box my Harp didn't come in a big box like that did you get yours from Lyon & Healy like me mine style 85 grand petite
I like the natural color
What does it mean for the harp to settle? Why does it need to settle?
I'm not sure it's an official term, I was just referring to the harp adjusting to the new climate (temperature, air pressure, humidity etc). Wooden instruments are affected by these changes and seem to take a while to "get used" to a new environment. Hope that makes sense! :)
It does ! Thank you :)
Hi :)
Congrats on your new pedal harp!!!
Thank-you so much! I'm so privileged to be the owner of this beautiful instrument
Christy Lyn Could you please provide the information of the company in the USA in Chicago of where to order Harps? Thank you. Respectfully Mary Vu (O.F.S.) Order Franciscan Secular
It’s called Lyon & Healy - you can find their website if you google the name. All the best! 😃
Nice harp
Thanks! :) Do you also play harp?
are there any members of the harp family a wheelchair user could play (no movement from the waist down)
Hi Richard. I'm so glad you asked this question! There are many options that would work for a wheelchair user. I would not recommend a pedal harp, because a pedal harpist uses their feet to change the key. But a lever harp would be great! I would suggest discussing this with a harp teacher or someone at a harp shop because your choice in lever harp will depend on you and your abilities, and also your preferences.
A lap harp (such as a harpsicle) would be a great choice because it is much lighter and easier to manouver than a bigger harp. It could be played with the harp resting on your lap. But if you really want the deeper notes of a bigger lever harp, I'm sure you could find a way to play that too - you might just need to test out how you can get the harp close enough to your body without the wheelchair getting in the way.
As with any beginner harpist, I would suggest playing many harps before deciding what you would like to purchase, and perhaps renting a harp for a while before you decide what works best for you. It can help to have a few months of lessons under your belt before making a purchase, because you will know more about the types of harps you prefer to play.
Please let me know if you have any other questions! I am a qualified Occupational Therapist so I have some experience working with wheelchair users, although not yet in my capacity as a harp teacher.
btw I forgot to mention I can in fact play the sally gardens on the tin whistle and an amazing coincidence 1 of my sisters is an OT
Harp players are a very special community of people just like the hurdy gurdy community
How exciting! It is a beautiful harp, and I look forward to hearing you play it. Last night we enjoyed a wonderful concert by our local symphony featuring harpist Anna Maria Mendieta. It was amazing! Here is a link to her website: www.annamariamendieta.com/
Glad you enjoyed the concert! Sounds good.
Where did you order it
I got it through our harp shop here in South Africa called Avondale Harps. And they got it for me from Lyon and Healy harps in Chicago
I have new harp in grandma house Is lyon healy 23
I can manage to afford a pedal harp but I cannot afford to buy a house to give it a home.
Now that's what I call priorities, haha! What I've done is go for the harp, and stay with family. But that wouldn't work for every harpist :(
It's such a pity that the instrument is so expensive; it really does affect it being accessible to most of us - especially those with a family to support. I hope someday your dreams will become a reality!
Yikes. Tune that harp!
