thanks for your hard work, much appreciated, I have the identical sdr - you could spend a bit more focus on each element to disconnect and connect, with a less jittery cam.
Thanks for the video. Whenever I’ve changed to a K&N on other V twin bikes I’ve noticed a faster acceleration response when I gun it. Seems to pick up faster on hard acceleration. Have you noticed this since changing the filter?
Hey Kevin, one question ... I m changing the battery to an antigravity but the ecu wires are so snug looks like I ll have to disconnect the ecu to have enough room to allow the battery swap...are those connectors just simple pull to disconnect or are there clips you d have to press or pry in order to pull those two connectors....so paranoid of breaking a wire or pin.....please advise if you have time ....thanks
Thanks for that
Thanks for posting this! I'm on my to the garage now...
Clark hope it went well!
@@kevingolder8218 Sorry for the delay, but yes it went well. Of course I did it with a full tank...lol. Thanks again for the awesome video!!

Hi great video ! Any change in sound ( louder etc )
Yes but it is very minor. Sounds a bit deeper.

Devonbiker yes, a slight improvement in throttle response and sound. Worth the $40!

I have a K&N filter to install that came with my SDR. Did you notice any performance or
tuning improvement? Thanks for the video.
Nothing noticeable but it does sound a little better.
why not change the spark plugs when you change the air filter ?
Jim James - my bike has very low miles but if you are approaching 10k then yes that would be a great time to do it!
What make is your luggage bag on the tail please ?
Snarkman - Nelson Rigg tail bag. The smaller one of the two they offer. Highly recommended!
same bike as yours exactly....either 2017 or 2018
I have the 2018 1290 sdr
