He had 131 yards and at least three or four elite runs, even if they didn't all go for touchdowns. This video is great and social media can play a big part in Heisman momentum. And Ezekiel Elliot of Ohio State (B1G) got 240 rushing yards against Alabama (SEC). While you might think our conference as a whole may be better and better against the run, you shouldn't try to detract from Gordon's numbers, because he would likely do the same thing in the SEC. Look at what Chubb did with his last 8 games - 1232 rushing yards. Five of those opponents were in the SEC. And if Melvin Gordon played in the SEC, he would have an offensive line that did too, so really I think it's kind of silly to try and take anything away from what he did. 2587 Rushing yards in one season. Unbelievable.
