I've been watching your videos since you started like most of the pacers content creators out there I watch them all and I can say your maturity has really grown in your presentation and reaction to comments that disagree with you so well done I'm glad you continue to talk pacers I moved from indy out of state so I really enjoy pacers content so thanks for that and keep up the good work now that's out of way I think these signings are for trade flexibility ultimately if we slump instead of roll personal will be swapped at the deadline and those contracts would make salary filler a part of me wants the pacers to simply run it back see where it goes and deal with it next year and the other part of me wants the pacers to trade for a talent like Ingram not necessarily him but that production level but that could create an unbalanced locker room because of who leaves vs who comes I'm leaning more toward run it back and when it comes down to it I like what the pacers have done this off season the things I'd like to see this season is mathurin walker get some mins and show above avg production as well as the team cohesion translate to wins over sub 500 teams and I'll be happy
Thanks man :) and I agree, while these contract extensions are great I feel like if we fall short this year. This upcoming offseason is going to have a big trade in store.
He could've gotten more in free agency, but... probably not a 4-year extension. I'm dreading the day TJ retires, but I'm looking forward to the day that head coach McConnell brings home some championships.
Really strong video today. Well reasoned and on point. I agreed with all but one thing you got wrong. Philadelphia also loved TJ. They really did but just couldn't make it work with him at the time. They sincerely loved the guy and fans hated to see him go. But he grew up here and became what he is now. Great work. You are rising fast.
I think TJ is happy with his contract. He has a family that's established their roots in Indiana. This contract will set him and his family up for life. He doesn't come across as someone that spends money on frivolous things. I'm glad he'll be spending his remaining years as a Pacer. I'm just worried about resigning Turner. It's hard to find quality centers in the NBA.
@@samuelhuffman5436 it’s not bad at all. This contract is great. We’re talking legit breadcrumbs to the salary cap for a guy who’s the best backup PG in the NBA. Even if he falls off playing wise he’s a good vet to have on the team..
Great that this happened! I first read this as "T.J. resigns" instead of "T.J. re-signs". Thanks God it's the latter!

My favorite Pacer. Great deal for us.
If Ty and Pascal had been so generous, we'd not have to worry about paying Myles.
Right. I was thinking the same thing. They could've tooken like 5-10m less each and then we'd probably be alright.

Total steal. Not going to lie though, I think they should trade him in the next year or 2 while his value is high.
That deal likely came with a real understanding he is staying long term. Pacers don't screw anyone, ever (other than themselves now and then).
Basically two years, third year partially guaranteed, fourth year team option
Sigurd Drives
steal. right now myles and tj are the vets.
cant believe 24-25 will be turners 10th year
Trade turner and mathurin for sengun and a pick
