It was made SPECIFICALLY to be a fun, casual experience. Then you've got all these try hard dorks trying to get any weapon or gadget they lose against nerfed to the ground in an effort to make the game more "competitive". Ironically, they have a very uncompetitive attitude, seeing as they'd rather have something nerfed than get gud and learn how to counter it.

Sadly got nerfed away for reasons I will never understand, cuz it was very risky to carry a nuke in the first place. Trippe defib is annoying but not as annoying as the HHM comp. Class queue in ranked might be good for ranked but it also will make healing beam the only specialisation you can use in ranked (coming from a demat main).
12:14 the reason for this change is for guns like the LH1 which is a single fire but needs to be spammed at close range to be effective - this makes it so you don't have to spam and just hold down fire (making it more consistent and less stressful, a QOL change)
Not that their rpm is increasing, just that when you pull the trigger it will fire instead of having to pull over and over you can just hold the trigger. Other games have similar mechanics so that semi-auto weapons are more viable.

I think game mode modifiers like low gravity are should be taken out of ranked. But only take out the annoying ones. I would love if they added a modifier. Like Health region on kill or speed modifier.
I don’t think they should. The game is supposed to mimic a game show at its core. Things like this give the game variables out of the players control which is the whole point of the game. It’s not a full just skill based game.
I feel like HML lock is kinda wild because not every class is the same. I think only one of each specialization should be allowed like no more than one healing beam for example.

you misread what the text read about toggle fire. It says, SINGLE fire weapons. So the weapons like the pistol where you have to spam click as fast as possible (or just set up a macro like most people do) will now let you hold the button down. Which is an amazing change. It means you won't get repetitive stress injury from spam left clicking on single shot weapons. If this is real, I think the 'virus' effect might be some kind of anti-heal which I suggested a few times on reddit. That could the buff lights need.
Forcing HML compsition in ranked sounds like it would horrible. Forcing people to play with things they don’t like and don’t want to play with, prob barely know how to properly play the role. That, on top of the balance problems would literally kill any interest in a rank mode.

Now if you want to play whatever the highest picked role is, you’re probably going to experience slower que times, but in my opinion that’s how it should be. It’s not forcing anyone to play a certain way, but it is nudging people to play differently.
Role Q would suck. It would mean a friend and I can never play the same role, regardless of the match. Heavies have been nerfed so much that I enjoy playing all 3 classes right now (used to only play heavy season 1). I can see why for balance purposes, but in 5v5 games role locking makes more sense.
Role Lock : In my opinion, if they do this maybe game will get balance. Cuz i lock my best 2 roles and it randomly choose, that will be nice. I have not too much finals friends and i play solo ranked too much. Then i choose my light, teammates trolling on it while short pick up time [ they choose more 2light or 2heavy ]. I can play any role of 3. But it's hard too increase my experience one of my best role because always switching roles. I think team ranked / solo ranked should add ? Sorry for bad english ❤
Sash is already horrible. There is nothing worse than a slow moving heavy just getting jumped around and out of the damage range. So many lights just run away in the open and heavies weapons can't reach them. Two grapples would do exactly the same thing as well.

The people crying about the invis on light were simply bad at the game, lights are very easy to kill and the invis was very balanced since it was the only thing making light viable at all. And they crushed it because people are bad at the yame and die to lights that are more skilled than them.
Light is meant to be a glass cannon, but they butcher all of their good options that make light even slightly competitively viable. Invis before visibility nerf was honestly balanced. It took still and awareness to catch a light out, but everyone complained because it was “too hard” buff light
