  • The Menai Strait is in north Wales and consists of a narrow stretch of shallow tidal water about 25 km (16 mi) long, which separates the island of Anglesey from the mainland of Wales. It averages about 500 meter in width. The Happy Camper and gang, Ray Goodwin (and daughter Maya) and Lizzie Harrington, paddle from Caernarfon Castle, and Menai Bridge. A full day trip.

Fun to watch Ray and you paddling together. Wales looks and sounds awesome. Love the tides. Brings me back to paddling Tadousac. How quick the water catches up to you. Thanks for posting all of these, again a lot of fun.

Another happy video Kevin, looks like a unique adventure. That dry suit makes you look jacked, hahaha

Found a well made tiki bar and a note on a beautiful campsite this weekend 😉. Thanks!

I have seen lots of videos on how the Brits pack their canoes 🛶, but never the cultural/geological reasons why. See your friend explaining the tides helped a bit. Can you do a deep dive on it? Thanks 🙏

Here in America we burp the excess air out of the dry air so we can move our arms and paddle.
